Claims (5)

  1. Apparatus for supporting a reel (60) having web material (22), which reel has to be brought into a working position, unwound and fed to a printing unit (14) having a front/operator side and a rear/gear side,
       having a frame (16) with a rear side part (28) located on the rear side of the printing unit (14), and with front side parts (24, 26) which are located on the front side of the printing unit (14), the front side parts (24, 26) defining an orifice in the frame (16), and having a movable reel carrier (18) with front and rear carrier-frame parts (64, 66), which is movable on guide rails (38) through the orifice in the frame (16), characterised in that a guide roller (74) for guiding the material web (22) away is arranged on the carrier-frame parts (64, 66) in such a way that the front end part (90) of the web material (22) is wound round the guide roller (74) and can be stuck onto one side of the reel (60).
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterised in that the said front and rear carrier-frame parts (64, 66) have bearings (68) for the rotatable mounting of the reel core (62) of the reel (60), and in that the said reel carrier (18) is equipped with a reel-core detent (70) for blocking an axial movement of the reel (60) on the said reel carrier (18) and with a lateral stop mechanism (72) for regulating the axial position of the reel (60) on the reel carrier (18).
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1, which furthermore comprises: a compensating roller (44) which extends from the said rear side part (28) of the said frame (16) to one of the said front side parts (26) of the said frame (16).
  4. Apparatus according to Claim 1, which furthermore comprises: a first and second guide roller (40, 42) which extend from the said rear side part (28) of the said frame (16) to one of the said front side parts (26) of the said frame (16).
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterised in that the said rear side part (28) of the said frame (16) supports a brake (50) which brakes the rotation of the reel (60) located in its working position.
