- the invention is based on a radial piston machine according to the preamble of the main claim. With such machines there is the difficulty that the inevitable axial forces acting on the components of the control mirror and rotor have a lifting effect. An axial bearing counteracts these axial forces. However, due to manufacturing tolerances, component deformations and wear during operation, a gap develops between the control mirror and the rotor, through which leakages can flow. This gap constantly changes in size due to changes in load and wear.
