Claims (16)
- Articulated-arm awning having brackets for fastening the awning and having holders (2) which can be fastened to the brackets and are intended for receiving a cloth shaft, the holders (2) being capable of being suspended in the brackets (1) by fastening means (4, 5) in such a way that the brackets have, at their lower ends, a hook-like projection (10) which points upwards and into which a strip (11) which projects from the lower rear ends of the holders (2) can be hooked, characterized in that the brackets (1) have, at their upper ends, a rotatably mounted and pivotable threaded bolt (7) having an adjustment part (8; 31) which can be screwed to said bolt and can be hooked into a corresponding recess (9; 33) arranged at the upper end of the holders (2), and that the holders form an approximately arc-shaped inner space into which, for example, a cassette with an awning shaft and awning cloth can be inserted.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 1, characterized in that the adjustment part provided is a nut (8) which can be screwed onto the threaded bolt (7) and has, at its rear end, a collar (12) which engages a corresponding groove (13) in the recess (9).
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, inside a chamber of the brackets (1) which is formed by two flanges (24, 25) and is open towards the front, a bearing (7a; 20) for the hinged threaded bolt (7) can be pushed into the brackets in the lateral direction and can be fixed and tensioned in its position.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 3, characterized in that a locking screw (23) which can be pressed against the bearing (20) displaceable in the chamber, within the bracket (1), is provided for fixing the position of the threaded bolt (7) to prevent displacement in the lateral direction and for securing the seat of the nut (8) with its collar (12) in the recess (9) and in the groove (13) in the holders (2) to prevent the undoing of this connection.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claims 1 and 3, characterized in that a fixing screw (27) which can be screwed into a threaded hole and with the aid of which the holder (2) can be fixed in its suspended position against a backward-pointing stop (26; 30) is provided at the upper end of the bracket.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 5, characterized in that a key (29) which can be pushed into the channel and has a forward-projecting tongue (29a) with a threaded hole for receiving the fixing screw is provided.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 5, characterized in that the projecting strip (11) of the holder has a backward-pointing lug (26) which serves as a stop for the fixing screw (27).
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 5, characterized in that the holder (2) has, in its upper rear section, a backward-pointing, approximately horizontal back (30) which serves as a stop for the fixing screw (27).
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 5, characterized in that a threaded hole passing in alignment through the two flanges (24, 25) of the bracket (2) is provided, into which hole the fixing screw (27) can be screwed for fixing the suspended position of the holder (2) on the bracket (1) by contact with the holder (at 26; at 30).
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 1, characterized in that the recess at the upper end of the holder (2) is formed for receiving a cylindrical guide (31) which serves as an adjustment part and has a threaded hole (32) which is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the guide and is intended for receiving the threaded bolt (7), so that the threaded bolt (7) can be attached, by means of the screwed-on cylindrical guide, in the recess in the holder.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 9, characterized in that the recess is formed by two side walls (33) which, above the position of the threaded bolt (7) attached by means of the cylindrical guide (31), has a hole which passes completely through at least one of the two side walls and into which a locking pin (34) can be inserted.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 1, characterized in that a cassette which can be optionally inserted into the holders and is intended for an awning shaft with awning cloth is essentially self-supporting and consists of a thin material, preferably of a thin metal sheet.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 12, characterized in that the cassette (6, 6a) has, at several points on its outer surface, hook-like or T-shaped strips, beads, projections (14, 15) or the like, which are capable of engaging corresponding openings, grooves or indentations (16, 17) in the inner wall of the holder.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claim 12 or 13, characterized in that the strips, beads or projections and the openings, grooves or indentations are formed in such a way that the cassette (6, 6a) rests against the inner wall of the holders, under initial mechanical tension.
- Articulated-arm awning according to Claims 1 and 12 and 13, characterized in that the cassette (6, 6a) consists, in the peripheral direction, of several parts which may be connected to one another.
- Articulated-arm awning according to any of Claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the articulated arms (3) are mounted approximately symmetrically with respect to the essentially horizontal central axis of the inner space of the holders (2), at their front outer ends.
