Claims (15)

  1. A closure arrangement for a door comprising on the one hand at least one bar (15A, 15B) which, in the mounted position, is mounted slidably at the back of the leaf (13) of the door (10) under the control of a cam (16) non-rotatably fixed on a control member (18) for operation by a user, and transversely carries at least one bolt (19, 19'), with, associated with said bar (15A, 15B), abutment means for limiting the travel thereof in at least one direction, and on the other hand at least one keeper (20) which, in the mounting position, fits to the frame (12) of the door (10) and with which the corresponding bolt (19, 19') of the bar (15A, 15B) is adapted to co-operate in engagement therewith, characterised in that, for the same keeper (20), the bar (15A, 15B) comprises two separate bolts (19, 19') disposed at a spacing from each other over its height, one bolt being active for a first direction of mounting of the leaf (13) of the door (10) while the other is spaced from the keeper (20), and conversely, for the direction of mounting of the leaf (13) of the door which is opposite to the preceding one.
  2. A closure arrangement according to claim 1 characterised in that, comprising two bars (15A, 15B) which, each disposed on respective sides of the cam (16), are jointly mounted slidably in opposite directions relative to each other under the control of the cam, a keeper (20) is associated with each of the two bars (15A, 15B), and the two keepers (20) thus used each comprise two separate entrances (25, 25') which extend back-to-back and of which one is active for one of the bolts (19) of the bars (15A, 15B) for a first direction of mounting of the leaf (13) of the door (10) while the other is active for another of the bolts (19') of the bars (15A, 15B) for the direction of mounting of the leaf (13) of the door (10) which is opposite to the preceding one.
  3. A closure arrangement according to claim 2 characterised in that the keepers (20) are identical for both of the bars (15A, 15B).
  4. A closure arrangement according to claim 2 characterised in that, the cam (16) being formed by a pinion and each of the bars (15A, 15B) meshing therewith by means of a rack (45A, 45B), the abutment means associated with one of said bars (15A, 15B) result from one of the teeth (44) of such a cam (16) simply bearing against said bar at a position away from its rack (45A, 45B).
  5. A closure arrangement according to claim 4 characterised in that, for bearing against a bar (15A, 15B), the apex portion (55) of the teeth (44) of the cam (16) has on its edge face two flats (56) which each extend on respective sides of its radial plane of symmetry (R).
  6. A closure arrangement according to claim 5 characterised in that the flats (56) of the apex portion (55) of the teeth (44) of the cam (16) are at an angle (A) of 90° to each other.
  7. A closure arrangement according to any one of claims 4 to 6 characterised in that the root (58) of the teeth (44) of the cam (16) narrows in the direction of the axis of the latter.
  8. A closure arrangement according to claim 2 characterised in that the abutment means associated with one of the bars (15A, 15B) use two catches (48, 48') which, mounted pivotably, are adapted to brace under the simple effect of gravity between said bar (15A, 15B) and an element which is fixed with respect thereto, one being active for a first direction of mounting of the leaf (13) of the door (10) and the other being active for the second opposite direction of mounting thereof.
  9. A closure arrangement according to claim 8 characterised in that said catches (48, 48') each come into operation at respective ends of the same recess (46A) in the bar (15A) in question.
  10. A closure arrangement according to claims 4 and 9 in combination characterised in that the rack (45A) of the bar (15A) in question extends in said recess (46A) in same.
  11. A closure arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 10 characterised in that each bolt (19, 19') is formed by two pins (24) which, disposed back-to-back, extend on respective sides of the bar (15A, 15B) which carries them.
  12. A closure arrangement according to claims 2 and 11 in combination characterised in that the two entrances (25, 25') of a keeper (20) are each formed respectively by the ends of an elongate opening (26) provided longitudinally in such a keeper (20) for the passage of a bar (15A, 15B), said keeper (20) being of a cross-section in the general shape of a C with, in projecting relationship on its flanks (28), right-angled return portions (29) which are directed towards each other, in the central zone at least of said flanks.
  13. A closure arrangement according to claim 12 characterised in that, in the central region of the flanks (28) of a keeper (20), a stop bar (30) extends transversely from each of its right-angled return portions (29) to its bottom (27).
  14. A closure arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 10 characterised in that, a bar (15A, 15B) being slidably engaged with at least one guide (23) which, fitted to the leaf (13) of the door (10), is provided for sliding movement of said bar (15A, 15B) with a passage (36) whose cross-section is of the same profile as such a bar (15A, 15B) and one of the flanks of which is longitudinally open by way of a slot (37), said guide (23) is formed by two parts (38, 38') which are pivoted to each other by a hinge region (39) and between which said passage (36) is divided, the two lips (40, 40') defining the slot (37) which the passage has each belonging to respective ones of the two said parts (38, 38').
  15. A cabinet characterised in that its door (10) is fitted with a closure arrangement (14) according to any one of claims 1 to 14.
