Definitions
- the invention relates to a lock fitting for a drawer slidably mounted in furniture.
- the drawers are often not fully moved into the rear end position in the furniture body and protrude with their front panel.
- the protrusion of the front panel of the drawer from the furniture front can also result from the drawer being inserted into the furniture body with too much momentum, so that the drawer moves forward again due to the excess energy.
- the invention has for its object to design a lock fitting for a drawer slidably mounted in a piece of furniture so that the drawer is pulled into the closed position and held in this position when it is retracted over a short distance, and that springing back of the inserted drawer is prevented if it is inserted into the furniture body at too high a speed or too much force.
- the rotary slide valve can have a spring bar, so that when the drawer is extended, the switching cam that moves in synchronism firstly strikes the free edge of the spring bar, thereby moving the entire rotary slide valve and simultaneously rotating it over a partial distance so that the switching cam disengages from the rotary slide valve is coming.
- the rotary valve normally remains in this release position.
- the switch cam runs onto the stop cam of the rotary slide valve, whereby the rotary slide valve is moved back into the starting position against the previous movement while simultaneously rotating in opposite directions.
- the rotary valve remains in its angular position when the drawer is extended, so that there is no need to overcome a dead center, for which purpose the spring force would first have to be increased in an unfavorable manner.
- the fitting shown in the figures is screwed onto the inner surface of a side wall 10 of a piece of furniture at the smallest possible distance from the front.
- a fitting is necessary for each drawer 11 indicated in FIG. 3. It is sufficient for the function if the fitting is provided on one side. From Fig. 3 it can be seen that it is above the drawer 11. This arrangement is advisable since the height of the front panel of a drawer is usually greater than the height of the actual drawer.
- the fitting has a rotary slide 12 which is provided on the side facing away from the furniture body with a hanging pin 13 for a tension spring 14.
- the other end of the tension spring 14 is suspended from a pin of a molded body 15 fixed on the furniture body.
- the tension spring 14 is under tension.
- a switching cam 16 attached to the drawer 11 engages in the rotary slide 12.
- the switching cam 16 is formed on a block 17, which is fixed to an angled leg of the side wall of the drawer 11 by means of a fastening bracket 18.
- a driving pin 19 is attached to the rotary slide valve 12 on the side facing the side wall 10 of the furniture body, the central longitudinal axis of which is aligned with the central longitudinal axis of the hanging pin 13 for the tension spring 14. These central longitudinal axes form the axis of rotation of the rotary slide 12.
- the driving pin 19 penetrates a horizontal guide groove 20 provided in the molded body 15.
- the rotary slide valve 12 On the side facing away from the side wall 10, the rotary slide valve 12 has a stop cam 25 which is offset with respect to its axis of rotation and a spring bar 26 which is at an acute angle to the plane of movement of the rotary slide valve 12.
- the spring bar 26 In the closed position of the drawer 11 shown in FIG. 1, the spring bar 26 is at the same height as the stop cam 25. The distance between the mutually facing surfaces of the stop cam 25 and the spring bar 26 is so large that the switching cam 16 in the thereby limited space can intervene. If the drawer 10 is moved out of the furniture, the switching cam 16 moves in the synchronous direction in the direction of arrow E. As a result, the rotary slide is moved in a synchronous linear movement with simultaneous rotation according to the representations according to FIGS. 1 and 2 counterclockwise. In a certain angular position of the rotary valve 12, the switching cam 16 moves out of the space delimited by the stop cam 25 and the spring bar 16.
- the rotary valve 12 has a guide plate 27, on which the stop cam 25 and the spring bar 26 are molded.
- the guide plate 27 is guided in two vertically superimposed slots of the molded body 15.
- the guide plate 27 In the basic contour, the guide plate 27 is circular so that rotation is possible. However, so that it is better guided in the slots, it has two guide surfaces at right angles to one another on the side facing the front of the furniture.
- a further detent and guide angle 28 is formed on the guide plate 27 and has a sliding surface that is parallel to the lower guide surface of the guide plate 27.
- the outer webs delimiting the slots for the guide plate 27 are designed in the form of a circular arc in the area facing the front of the piece of furniture, the center coinciding with the central longitudinal axis of the driving pin 19 of the rotary slide 12, with reference to the position of the rotary slide 12 shown in FIG. 2 with the drawer 11 pulled out.
- the arcs interact with the stop cams 25 and the detent and guide bracket 28 so that the rotary slide 12 remains in the position shown in FIG. 2 until the switch cam 16 abuts the outer surface of the stop cam 25 .
- the molded body 15 is T-shaped. 3 and 4 that it is composed of two parts 29, 30 with essentially the same basic contour. This makes assembly easier.
- the parts 29, 30 are connected to one another on the side facing away from the front of the furniture via a film hinge 33, so that after the insertion of the rotary slide 12 and the tension spring 14, the parts 29, 30 can be folded together for screwing onto the side wall 10. Due to the hinge-like design, a part 29 or 30 can never be lost.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lock fitting for a drawer slidably mounted in furniture.
It is known (e.g. from document DE-A-2 131 548) to equip the drawers arranged in a furniture body with a pull-out guide which consists of a body-side mounting rail and a drawer-side pull-out rail which are provided on both long sides of the drawer. Rollers, balls or sliders can be provided for the load transfer between the drawer-side pull-out rails and the body-side support rails.
The drawers are often not fully moved into the rear end position in the furniture body and protrude with their front panel.
The protrusion of the front panel of the drawer from the furniture front can also result from the drawer being inserted into the furniture body with too much momentum, so that the drawer moves forward again due to the excess energy.
The invention has for its object to design a lock fitting for a drawer slidably mounted in a piece of furniture so that the drawer is pulled into the closed position and held in this position when it is retracted over a short distance, and that springing back of the inserted drawer is prevented if it is inserted into the furniture body at too high a speed or too much force.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
Advantageous developments of the locking fitting according to the characterizing part of claim 1 are shown in the subclaims.
The rotary slide valve can have a spring bar, so that when the drawer is extended, the switching cam that moves in synchronism firstly strikes the free edge of the spring bar, thereby moving the entire rotary slide valve and simultaneously rotating it over a partial distance so that the switching cam disengages from the rotary slide valve is coming. The rotary valve normally remains in this release position. When the drawer is retracted, the switch cam runs onto the stop cam of the rotary slide valve, whereby the rotary slide valve is moved back into the starting position against the previous movement while simultaneously rotating in opposite directions.
However, if in the extended position of the drawer the rotary valve is brought manually into the position corresponding to the closed position of the drawer, the switch cam runs onto the spring bar, whereby this is deflected so that the switch cam moves into the space delimited by the stop cam and the spring bar can.
According to the teaching of claim 4, the rotary valve remains in its angular position when the drawer is extended, so that there is no need to overcome a dead center, for which purpose the spring force would first have to be increased in an unfavorable manner.
It is achieved by the features of claim 5 that only a single part is necessary for the movable mounting of the rotary valve, whereby the assembly is simplified.
The advantages of the features of the further subclaims result from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment.

The fitting shown in the figures is screwed onto the inner surface of a
The fitting has a
On the side facing away from the
The
30 verlorengehen. As can be seen particularly from FIGS. 1 and 2, the molded
Except for the
