Description

  • The present invention relates to an adjusting device for aligning a drawer, pull-out or the like mounted on running rails, consisting of a base body which can be fastened to the running rail or the drawer, the pull-out or the like and a hinge-like actuating part with a wedge piece which for alignment purposes between the slide rail on the one hand and the drawer, the pull-out or the like on the other hand can be pushed.
  • Adjustment devices of the aforementioned type are known in many embodiments.
  • However, the known adjustment devices are either quite complex in their construction or relatively cumbersome to operate. The two aforementioned disadvantages may even come together.
  • The present invention has for its object to provide an adjusting device of the generic type, which is characterized on the one hand by an extremely simple and uncomplicated structure and on the other hand by an equally simple operability.
  • This object is achieved in that the base body, actuating part and wedge piece are made in one piece from plastic, that the hinge area is formed by a material constriction in the manner of a film hinge, that the hinge axis runs parallel to the fastening plane of the base body and that the wedge piece is approximately at right angles to the hinge axis and thus also extends to the actuating part.
  • An adjustment device designed in this way ultimately consists of an easy-to-produce, one-piece functional part which, after being fixed to a running rail or a drawer, pull-out or the like, is easy to operate, since for alignment purposes the wedge piece between the running rail on the one hand and the drawer, pull-out only by pressure on the actuating part or the like must be pressed on the other hand. Depending on the insertion depth of the wedge piece, an alignment of the drawer, the pull-out or the like is achieved relative to the running rail.
  • It may be advantageous to additionally secure the reached setting position by providing the wedge piece with ridges, depressions or roughening on at least one side.
  • A particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention consists in that the base body, the actuating part and the wedge piece are integrally formed on a latching device known per se for connecting a running rail to a drawer, a pull-out or the like.
  • As a result, a one-piece arrangement of the latching device and the adjusting device is achieved, which considerably reduces both the manufacturing and assembly times.
  • According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a protective bracket to avoid unintentional actuation is arranged at a distance from the actuating part, this bracket being integrally formed on the latching device.
  • Incorrect operations and thus unwanted cancellation of an alignment that has been carried out are practically prevented in this way.
  • In order to avoid damage and deformation of the adjusting device during transport, as well as permanent deformation after a maximum adjustment over a longer period of time, so that a return to the zero position / initial position is also possible after a longer period of time, an embodiment of the invention is proposed in the guide means are provided on the mutually facing surfaces of the actuating part and the base body, which correspond to one another when the actuating part is moved toward or away from the base body in the course of an adjustment.
  • The mutually corresponding guide means can advantageously consist of a web formed on the base body on the one hand and a guide opening on the actuating part on the other hand.
  • Further features of the invention are the subject of dependent claims 8 to 13.
  • Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and are described in more detail below.

  • In Figures 1 and 2, the reference numeral 1 denotes a running rail which carries a drawer 2, a pull-out or the like. This running rail 1 is movable along a stationary guide rail 3 together with the drawer 2 or an extract or the like.
  • The guide rail 3 is fastened to a furniture body 4 in a manner known per se.
  • On the running rail 1, an adjusting device, provided overall with the reference number 5, is fastened, which in the exemplary embodiment shown serves for the vertical alignment of the drawer 2.
  • As is particularly clear in FIG. 2, this adjusting device 5 consists of a base body 6, an actuating part 7 and a wedge piece 8.
  • The base body 6 is fastened to the running rail 1 in the exemplary embodiment shown. The actuating part 7 can be moved in a hinge-like manner relative to this base body 6.
  • Base body 6, actuating part 7 and wedge piece 8 are made in one piece from plastic.
  • The hinge area 9 is formed by a material constriction in the manner of a film hinge.
  • The hinge axis runs parallel to the mounting plane of the base body 6 and the wedge piece 8 extends approximately at right angles to the hinge axis and thus also to the actuating part 7.
  • The wedge piece 8 is more or less inserted for alignment purposes between the running rail on the one hand and the drawer 2 on the other hand, so that the drawer 2 is more or less raised relative to the running rail 1. This enables an exact height alignment of a drawer, a pull-out or the like. It is extremely expedient to provide an adjusting device 5 in the region of both side rails 1 of a drawer, a pull-out or the like.
  • Figures 3 and 4 make it clear that the wedge piece 8 is provided on at least one side with sawtooth-like elevations 10, whereby the respectively adopted adjustment position can be additionally secured.
  • In addition, the wedge piece 8 is provided on its free end flank 11 with locking projections 12, to which a locking cam 13 of the base body 6 is assigned. The locking projections 12 and the locking cams 13 provide additional security for the guaranteed adjustment position of the wedge piece 8 assured.
  • FIG. 5 shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention, in which the adjusting device 5 is made in one piece with a latching device 14 for connecting a running rail 1 to a drawer 2, a pull-out or the like. Otherwise, the structure of the adjusting device 5 corresponds to the structure of the above-described adjusting device 5 according to FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • In order to avoid inadvertent actuation of the adjusting device 5, a protective bracket 15 is provided at a distance from the actuating part 7, which is integrally formed on the latching device 14.
  • Depending on the installation position, an adjusting device 5 according to the invention can be used for vertical or horizontal alignment.
  • The adjusting device 5 according to FIGS. 6 to 13 is fastened to a running rail 1 in a known, unspecified manner with an insertion piece 16 (FIG. 12) formed on the base body 6.
  • To align the drawer / pull-out 2, the wedge piece 8 molded onto it is pushed between slide rail 1 and drawer 2 by lifting the actuating part 7 and lifts it. The wedge piece 8 is fixed in the selected adjustment position by known locking projections 10, which are not described in detail.
  • The adjusting device 5 thus essentially consists of the base body 6 and the actuating part 7 with the wedge piece 8 formed thereon.
  • The actuating part 7 can be folded like a scissors in the direction of arrow A by the hinge area 9 designed as a film hinge (FIGS. 11 and 8, 9, 10). On the base body 6 - with respect to the hinge pivot point 9 - a radially extending wall 17 is formed, which in turn carries a guide web 18 directed towards the hinge pivot point 9. At its free end, the guide web 18 further carries a locking lug 19 directed towards the hinge pivot point 9. The guide web 18 runs - as can be seen in FIG. 13 - inclined, i. H. preferably approximately parallel to the surface of the wedge piece 8.
  • The actuating part 7 has a groove 20 at its free end (FIG. 13).
  • The operation of the adjusting device 5 results as follows:
  • The one-piece adjustment device 5 made of plastic preferably leaves the injection mold in the form shown in FIG. If the actuating part 7 is then pressed in the direction of arrow A toward the base body 6, the latch 19 moves towards the groove 20 and engages behind the edge 21. The guide web 18 now lies in the groove 20 and is held and guided by this. The transport position shown in FIG. 8 results. In this position, external forces act on the adjusting device 5 there is no deformation / damage, since the positive connection between the web 18 and the groove 20 stabilizes the adjusting device 5 and the wall 17 also performs a protective bracket function.
  • If, in the course of an adjustment, the actuating part 7 is pressed further in the direction of arrow A, for example into a central latching position corresponding to FIG. 9, the groove 20 of the actuating part 7 slides along the inclined web 18 in the sense of a positive guidance.
  • If the actuating part 7 is pressed further in the direction of arrow A until the actuating part 7 rests on the base body 6, the maximum adjustment position according to FIGS. 10 and 7 results. This position - depending on the material - can lead to a relatively strong permanent deformation of the hinge area 9 , which - if the positive guidance by web 18 and groove 20 were not present - could prevent the starting position / zero position according to FIG. 8 from being reached again.
  • However, the positive guidance through web 18 and groove 20 ensures in any case that even with permanent deformations of the hinge area 9, the actuating part 7 can be returned to the transport position / zero position according to FIG. 8 by overcoming the deformation by the positive guidance (18, 20) .
  • The positive guidance between base body 6 and actuating part 7 can also be effected by means other than web 18 and groove 20, for. B. by a molded on the base body 6, according to the surface of the wedge piece 8 inclined pin, which engages in an opening of the actuating part 7. The described limitation of the opening path (by locking lug 19 and edge 21) could be achieved here by a thickening at the free end of the pin, which after penetrating the guide opening in the actuating part 7 has a certain locking effect - for example according to the push button principle - in the sense of a path limitation generated.

Claims (13)

  1. An adjusting device for aligning a drawer, pull-out unit or the like which is mounted on guide rails, comprising a main body (6) which can be fixed to the guide rail (1) or the drawer (2), pull-out unit or the like and an actuating portion (7) movable hinge-like relative to the main body and having a wedge portion (8) which is displaceable for alignment purposes between the guide rail on the one hand and the drawer, pull-out unit or the like on the other hand, characterised in that the main body (6), the actuating portion (7) and the wedge portion (8) are integrally produced from plastics material, that the hinge region (9) is formed by a material constriction in the manner of a film hinge, that the hinge axis extends parallel to the fixing plane of the main body (6), and that the wedge portion (8) extends approximately at a right angle to the hinge axis and therewith also to the actuating portion (7).
  2. An adjusting device according to claim 1 characterised in that the wedge portion (8) is provided at least on one side with raised portions (10), depressions or roughened portions.
  3. An adjusting device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the main body (6), the actuating portion (7) and the wedge portion (8) are integrally formed on a per se known retaining device (14) for connecting a guide rail (1) to a drawer (2), pull-out unit or the like.
  4. An adjusting device according to claim 3 characterised in that a guard loop (15) is arranged at a spacing relative to the actuating portion (7) to prevent unintentional actuation, the guard loop (15) being formed integrally on the retaining device (14).
  5. An adjusting device according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that at its free end edge (11) the wedge portion (8) is provided with a plurality of retaining projections (12) with which there is associated a corresponding retaining projection (13) on the main body (6).
  6. An adjusting device according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that provided on the mutually facing surfaces of the actuating portion (7) and the main body (6) are guide means (18, 20) which correspond to each other when the actuating portion (7) - in the course of an adjustment - is moved towards the main body (6).
  7. An adjusting device according to claim 6 characterised in that the mutually corresponding guide means comprise a leg (18) formed on the main body (6) on the one hand and a guide opening (20) on the actuating portion (7) on the other hand.
  8. An adjusting device according to claim 6 and/or claim 7 characterised in that the leg (18) extends approximately parallel to the inclination of the surface of the wedge portion (8), which is provided with sawtooth-like raised portions (10).
  9. An adjusting device according to one or more of claims 6 to 8 characterised in that the leg (18) is formed on a wall (17) which extends in the form of a radius, relative to the hinge axis (9).
  10. An adjusting device according to one or more of claims 6 to 9 characterised in that formed at the free end of the guide means (18) is a nose (19) which, in co-operation with a retaining edge (21) on the actuating portion (7), limits the opening travel between the main body (6) and the actuating portion (7).
  11. An adjusting device according to one or more of claims 6 to 10 characterised in that the guide means comprise a peg/pin formed on the main body (6) on the one hand and a guide opening provided on the actuating means (7) on the other hand.
  12. An adjusting device according to me or more of claims 6 to 11 characterised in that the peg/pin is so inclined that it extends approximately parallel to the inclination of the surface of the wedge portion (8), which is provided with sawtooth-like raised portions (10).
  13. An adjusting device according to one or more of claims 6 to 12 characterised in that at its free ends the peg/pin carries a nose/thickened portion which in co-operation with a guide opening limits the opening travel as between the main body (6) and the actuating portion (7).
