Das Ausführungsbeispiel nach der Fig. 3 unterscheidet sich jedoch von dem nach den Fig. 1 und 2 dadurch, daß statt der um exzentrische Achsen schwenkbaren Saugrohre ein Saugband 40 vorgesehen ist, dessen Fördertrum 41 über einen Saugkasten 42 läuft. Zweckmäßigerweise sind mehrere Saugbänder 40 vorgesehen, die, wie aus der Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist, in Umfangsnuten des Falzzangenzylinders 30 greifen. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 3 laufen die mit den gefalzten Böden versehenen Enden nach ihrer Freigabe von den Falzzangen auf das Saugband 40 auf, wobei sie dann von den Fördertrumen 41 angesaugt werden, sobald sie über die Saugkästen 42 laufen. Die Saugbänder 40 und die Saugkästen 42 sind so gesteuert, daß die angesaugten Säcke bis auf die Geschwindigkeit null oder nahezu null verzögert werden. Kurz vor dem Absetzen der Säcke auf dem Stapeltisch 31 wird die Saugluftzufuhr zu den Saugkästen 12 abgestellt. An apparatus for collecting or stacking flat workpieces conveyed on a conveyor cylinder (30) provided with holding grippers (12, 13) an a stacking table (31) placed against the conveyor cylinder (30) or on stacking arms placed against the latter which are parallel to each other, preferably bags or sacks produced on a cylinder (30) with folding grippers and provided with bonded bottoms, which is provided with a device (16, 17) opening the holding or folding grippers (12, 13) before the delivery table (31) has been reached, and with a device (33) braking the workpieces in such a way that the workpieces are deposited on the stacking table (31) at a speed slower than the peripheral speed of the conveyor cylinder or cylinder with folding grippers (12, 13).

An apparatus according to one of claims 1 or 3 and 4, characterized in that the suction tubes (18), or striking components connected thereto or to the shaft carrying them, bear outside the sphere of action of the control cam (23) under a spring force on a bearing means (24) of the conveyor cylinder (30).
  6. An apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that the suction belt or suction belts (40) partly engage in peripheral grooves of the conveyor cylinder (30).
  7. An apparatus according to claim 2 or 6, characterized in that the speed of the suction belts (40) and vacuum feed to them are controllable.
  8. An apparatus according to one of claims 2 or 6 and 7, characterized in that a conveyor roller (44) can be set against the conveyor cylinder (30), which conveys the workpiece with a pushing-on action after it has been released by the holding grippers (12, 13).
