- the base 30 of the sheath 26 forms a horizontal or concave seat, disposed slightly below the cable 10 and capable of holding or catching the latter in the event of a failure of a support element, in particular of a roller 23.
- FIG. 2 it can be seen that in normal operation the template 25 does not interfere with the passage of the clamp 16 on the clutch section 11, the clearance between the jaws 17 and the internal contour of the sheath 26 being sufficient to avoid any friction. If, on the other hand, the cable 10 is not between the jaws 17, but is placed outside of them, as shown in FIG. 3, it is easy to see that the clamp 16 is jammed in the sheath 26 and that under the effect of the shock the seat 12 rocks or swings forward. This shock is mitigated by the sliding of the template 25 in the slides 27 and this sliding is braked by the blocks of braking 28, in order to progressively decelerate the clamp 16 and thus reduce the amplitude of the rocking of the seat 12.
- the clamp 16 is of course stopped, while the cable 10 is forcibly pulled in the sheath 26 until the installation drive motor stops.
- This stopping is triggered by the usual safety systems, which detect the excessive oscillation of the cable 10, due to the shock or the interruption of the path of the seats 12.
- An additional safety device can detect the sliding of the template 25 and cause the shutdown. After such a stop, it is obviously necessary to check the good condition of the installation and replace the template 25 in place.
- the mechanical locking of the clamp 16 prevents the latter from exceeding a determined point if the cable 10 is not inserted between the jaws 17 and in any case reaching the outlet 24 of the clutch section 11.
- the effort braking exerted on the template 25 and the stroke of this braking are determined to limit the swinging amplitude of the seat 12 to an acceptable and non-dangerous value for the occupants.
- the operation of the installation according to the invention follows from the preceding description and it suffices to note that such a safety device can be easily mounted on an existing installation.
- the sheath 26 prevents any derailment of the clamp 16 and its length is sufficient to ensure in all cases the clamping of the clamp.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an overhead cable-to-tractor transport installation extending between two end stations, comprising clamps with a pair of jaws, capable of gripping the cable to couple the clamp to the cable in line and to be open to uncouple the cable clamp in stations, seats or cabins, each suspended on a clamp, a transfer rail, which extends in the station to support the uncoupled cable clamp, a section d clutch where the rail is parallel to the cable and is arranged to introduce the cable between the jaws of the clamp at the entry to the section and couple the clamp by closing the jaws to the cable at the exit of the section and a safety device , located on the clutch section, to detect faulty operation.
Une situation particulièrement dangereuse résulte d'une fermeture de la pince, le câble étant en dehors des mors, notamment à côté de ceux-ci.La chute du siège ou de la cabine est alors inévitable, lorsque la pince quitte le rail de transfert et des mesures de sécurité s'avèrent indispensables..In an installation of the type mentioned, the safety device triggers the stopping of the installation, in the event of an incident, in order to avoid leaving the station's seat and / or coupling it to the cable. The stop is not instantaneous and it is therefore necessary to provide a safety distance which contributes to the elongation of the station. A particularly dangerous situation results from a closing of the clamp, the cable being outside the jaws, in particular at side of them. The fall of the seat or cabin is then inevitable, when the clamp leaves the transfer rail and safety measures are essential.
The object of the present invention is to improve the operational safety of such an installation by using simple means.
The installation according to the invention is characterized in that said safety device comprises a template, the passage section of which corresponds, apart from play, to the external section of the clamp and of the cable introduced between the jaws of the clamp, so as to allow free passage of the clamp towards the exit of the clutch section, when the cable is correctly inserted between the jaws and causing the clamp to jam in the template, when the cable is outside the jaws, to prevent the clamp from advancing up to 'at the exit of the section.
When the clamp is jammed in the template, it is suddenly stopped and a forward rocking of the seat or cabin, whose hanger is articulated on a transverse axis of the clamp, is inevitable. In order to avoid incidents, this swinging must not be excessive and according to the present invention the template is mounted with limited sliding in the direction of travel of the cable to accompany, during a blocking, the clamp in its race over a limited distance. This sliding is braked by any appropriate means in order to progressively decelerate the clamp. falling or lowering, for example due to a failure of a support roller.
The template is advantageously mounted on slides, which extend parallel to the cable, and the braking means are incorporated or associated with these slides. During the mechanical blocking of a clamp the cable remains in movement and it slides forcibly in the template, risking tearing everything out if the movement persists for a certain time. The clamping of the clamp in the template is perceived by the usual safety systems, which control the stopping of the installation, in particular by the detector of excessive oscillations of the cable, due to shock or by the seat tracking controller or cabins, later called seats. Additional safety devices can be provided in order to react, for example during an untimely movement of the template and to stop the drive motor, with a lower response time.
- la figure 1 est une vue schématique en élévation d'une section d'embrayage équipée d'un gabarit de blocage, d'une installation selon l'invention;
- la figure 2 est une coupe suivant la ligne 2-2 de la figure 1, illustrant le passage de la pince dans le gabarit en fonctionnement normal;
- la figure 3 est une vue analogue à celle de la figure 2, illustrant le blocage de la pince dans le gabarit;
- Figure 1 is a schematic elevational view of a clutch section equipped with a locking jig, of an installation according to the invention;
- Figure 2 is a section along line 2-2 of Figure 1, illustrating the passage of the clamp in the template in normal operation;
- Figure 3 is a view similar to that of Figure 2, illustrating the locking of the clamp in the template;
- Figure 4 is a schematic side view showing the clamp at the outlet of the clutch section.
In the figures, a carrier-
Referring more particularly to FIG. 2, it can be seen that in normal operation the
The operation of the installation according to the invention follows from the preceding description and it suffices to note that such a safety device can be easily mounted on an existing installation. The
The invention is of course in no way limited to the embodiment more particularly described.
