Denn zum einen kann nur begrenzt Wasser in den Toilettentopf eingesprüht werden, weil die Durchflußkapazität des darunterliegenden Abflußrohres nur begrenzt ist. Aus diesem Grunde muß für eine ausreichende Reinigung die Automatik auf eine längere Säuberungsdauer eingestellt werden. Außerdem läßt sich eine ausreichende Reinigung der tiefer gelegenen Regionen der Toilettenschüssel, insbesondere am Beginn des Ausflußrohres, in welchem ständig Wasser steht, allein mit der Hilfe von Sprühwasser nicht bewerkstelligen. Es ist vielmehr nötig, hier auch mechanische Hilfsmittel, wie z.B. Bürsten zusätzlich einzusetzen.
