Definitions
- the invention relates to a paper roll carrier according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a roller carrier has become known from DE-PS 3 28 283.
- the drive belt is located below the paper roll and wraps around the paper roll at the bottom to a vertical plane that passes through the axis of rotation of the paper roll on the left and right by approx. 60 o .
- a variable weight is provided to change the slip between the paper roll and drive belt. The change in the slip between the drive belt and the paper roll is wanted in order to optionally change the paper web tension.
- the paper roll is wound on a relatively stable, continuous core sleeve and is taken up on quills and clamping jaws - that the winding density increases more and more above a horizontal plane through the longitudinal axis of the winding sleeve and below this level downwards continues to decrease.
- the paper roll then has the shape of a circle with the axis of rotation shifted upward. It is now easy to see that when the paper roll rotates, the parts of the roll with a low winding density continuously move upwards and are formed into a higher winding density in order to be subsequently converted back to a lower winding density on their way down.
- the high specific load leads to the so-called "crepe" formation inside the paper roll, tearing of the inner layers, but also to a lateral pushing out of the inner layers.
- the invention has for its object to provide a paper roll carrier for at least two paper rolls with a belt drive, in which damage and lateral displacement of the inner layers are avoided even with wide paper rolls can and a flying paper roll change is possible.
- a two-armed roller changing device 1 consists of a pair of two-armed roller carriers 2, which are fastened on a spindle 3 mounted in carriers 15.
- the spindle 3 is provided in a known manner with a drive which enables the spindle 3 to be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.
- a sleeve 4 and clamping jaws 6 for receiving a roller sleeve 7 of a paper roll 8 in a known manner.
- a paper web 9 is drawn from the paper roller 8 via deflection rollers 11 fixed to the frame into a printing unit (not shown). 8 denotes a full paper roll and 12 a largely empty paper roll.
- a drive belt device 14 is arranged opposite the side of the Roll changing device 1 on which the new paper roll 13 is prepared. It essentially consists of an angled frame 16 which extends over the entire width of the roll changing device 1. Its angled arms 17 are each rotatably supported with their short arm 18 on a shaft 19 rotatably mounted in two arms 10 of a support 30. An angle lever 21 is mounted in the ends of the longer arms 17. At the point where the longer 22 and the shorter lever arm 23 of the angle lever 21 meet, a bore is provided in each case in which a continuous spindle 24 is mounted. Depending on the number of drive belts 26, the same number of deflection rollers 27 are rotatably mounted on the spindle 24.
- At least the two outer angle levers 21 are each articulated via their shorter lever arm 23 with a push rod each of a single-acting pneumatic cylinder 28 for tensioning the drive belts 26.
- Each abutment 29 of the pneumatic cylinder 28 is articulated with a tab 29 welded to the frame 16.
- a toothed belt pulley 31 is positively connected to the shaft 19 and one or more drive belts 26, a belt drive roller 32 are rotatably mounted.
- a rotatable, frame-fixed, internally acting belt spreading roller 33 is provided for each drive belt 26. It serves to prevent a right outer run 20 of the drive belt 26 from moving inwards onto a left run 25 of the drive belt 26.
- the toothed belt pulley 31 is via a toothed belt 34 with a toothed belt pinion 36 of a motor 37, e.g. B. a frequency-controlled asynchronous motor connected.
- a hole with bolts 38 In each case in the area of the meeting of the short arm 18 and long arm 17 of the two outer angle levers of the frame 16, there is a hole with bolts 38.
- Each fork head of a push rod 39 of a double-acting pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder 41 is articulated on the bolt 38.
- the cylinder body or cylinders themselves are positively connected to the side frame of the roll changing device 1.
- the centers of the recorded roller sleeve 7 and shaft 19 are z. B. cut at an angle of 19 o from the horizontal downward inclined plane.
- the drive belts 26 In the release of the drive belts 26, - as shown in the drawing -, the drive belts 26 just have no contact with a new paper roll 8 with max. permissible diameter.
- rotatably mounted spacer rollers 42 enable the running paper web to have a constant wrap for the knock-off knife. Precautions must be taken to ensure that the run 25 driving the paper roll 13 can be moved out of the enveloping circle with a diameter which corresponds to a distance a from the centers of the paper roll receptacles plus the diameter of the largest paper roll 13 that has been re-raised, so that the roll carriers 2 and the re-opened Paper rolls 8, 13 can be brought from a normal operating position into an adhesive position and that the new paper roll 13 can be brought from a preparatory position (left position) to an operating position (right position).
- the frame 16 is moved from the right-hand release into its working position - that is, the drive belts 26 are pressed against the outer surface of the paper roll 8 prepared for gluing.
- the drive belts 26 are then accelerated by means of the drive motor 37 until the peripheral speed of the paper roll 8 to be glued is equal to the web speed of the paper web 9 of the idling paper roll 12. If this is achieved, a swivel frame 43 pivots from top to bottom.
- a pressure roller 44 attached to it is moved so that it presses the paper web 9 against the circumference of the new paper roller 8 and the prepared adhesive tip glue new paper roll 8 to the idling paper web 9.
- a knife 45 activated immediately after gluing separates the paper web 9 of the idling paper roll 12 from the paper web of the new paper roll 8.
- the figure also shows how a new paper roll 13 is lifted into the roll carrier 2 by means of a lifting platform 46.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a paper roll carrier according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a roller carrier has become known from DE-PS 3 28 283. In this paper roll holder, the drive belt is located below the paper roll and wraps around the paper roll at the bottom to a vertical plane that passes through the axis of rotation of the paper roll on the left and right by approx. 60 o . A variable weight is provided to change the slip between the paper roll and drive belt. The change in the slip between the drive belt and the paper roll is wanted in order to optionally change the paper web tension.
However, the subject of the invention addresses another problem. In the case of rotogravure printing machines in particular, the tendency is towards ever wider and thus heavier paper rolls. Paper rolls with a width of 3.18 m and a weight of over 1,000 kg are not uncommon. These high paper roll weights - it already starts with paper rolls with a width of 2.30 m - can lead to problems, because in addition to their own weight, the paper rolls also work with the Contact pressure of the drive belt from above onto the paper roll. There is a very high specific load on the paper roll at both ends of the winding tube. As a result, - the paper roll is wound on a relatively stable, continuous core sleeve and is taken up on quills and clamping jaws - that the winding density increases more and more above a horizontal plane through the longitudinal axis of the winding sleeve and below this level downwards continues to decrease. Viewed in section, the paper roll then has the shape of a circle with the axis of rotation shifted upward. It is now easy to see that when the paper roll rotates, the parts of the roll with a low winding density continuously move upwards and are formed into a higher winding density in order to be subsequently converted back to a lower winding density on their way down. The high specific load leads to the so-called "crepe" formation inside the paper roll, tearing of the inner layers, but also to a lateral pushing out of the inner layers.
Based on the above-described prior art and the problems described, the invention has for its object to provide a paper roll carrier for at least two paper rolls with a belt drive, in which damage and lateral displacement of the inner layers are avoided even with wide paper rolls can and a flying paper roll change is possible.
This object is solved by the features of claim 1.
The advantages of the invention lie in avoiding the disadvantages described above.
An embodiment is shown in the drawing and described below:
The single figure shows a roller carrier according to the invention in a schematic representation in side view.
A two-armed roller changing device 1 consists of a pair of two-armed roller carriers 2, which are fastened on a spindle 3 mounted in
In the ends of the two roller carriers 2 there is a sleeve 4 and clamping jaws 6 for receiving a
Eg opposite the side of the Roll changing device 1 on which the
Die Papierrolle 8 wird also entlastet.A
Soll nun z. Should now z. B. the almost empty paper roll To clear the operating position for a new paper roll, the roll carriers 2 move counterclockwise into a left waiting position.
On the roller carriers 2 mounted on spacers, rotatably mounted
For reasons of simplification, the figure also shows how a
