Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe lehrt die Erfindung, daß die Dekorleisten einem Bauelementensatz mit Dekorleisten unterschiedlichen Leistenquerschnitts angehören, denen die gleichen Trägerprofilstäbe zugeordnet sind, wobei die Trägerprofilstäbe eine ebene Anlagefläche für die zugeordnete Dekorleiste aufweisen und breiter ausgeführt sind als die Dekorleisten, und daß die rahmenbildenden Leisten im Bereich der Rahmenecken durch Eckverbindungsbauteile miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Eckverbindungsbauteile lediglich an die Trägerprofilstäbe angeschlossen sind. - Die Trägerprofilstäbe weisen eine glatte, zur Dekorleiste hingewandte Oberfläche auf, damit die Dekorleiste ohne Zwänge aufgesetzt und angeordnet werden kann. Dabei kann die Anordnung so getroffen sein, daß die Trägerprofilstäbe und die Dekorleisten an einer Längsseite der rahmenbildenden Leisten bündig abschließen und an der anderen Längsseite die Trägerprofilstäbe mit einem Oberflächenstreifen vorstehen. Dabei erfüllen die Trägerprofilstäbe eine Doppelfunktion. Sie bilden einerseits gleichsam das tragende Skelett des Bilderrahmens und nehmen auch die Dekorleisten auf, sie tragen jedoch mit dem überstehenden Oberflächenstreifen auch selbst zum ästhetischen Gesamteindruck bei. Die Trägerprofilstäbe sind vorzugsweise stranggepreßte Profile aus Metall, z. B. aus einer Aluminiumlegierung, mit eloxierter oder lackierter Oberfläche oder stranggepreßte Profile aus Kunststoff. Aus der Fig. 5 entnimmt man, daß die Trägerprofilstäbe 1 sowie die aufgesetzten Dekorleisten im Bereich der Rahmenecken orthogonal zur Leistenlängsrichtung verlaufende Stoßflächen 7 besitzen, wobei in den Ecken quadratische Zwischenstücke 8 der Trägerprofilstäbe 1 und Dekorleistenzwischenstücke 9 der Dekorleisten 2 angeordnet sind. Die Eckverbindungsbauteile 3 sind einerseits mit den Zwischenstücken 8 der Trägerprofilstäbe 1 und andererseits mit den Trägerprofilstäben 1 der rahmenbildenden Leisten verbunden. Die Eckverbindungsbauteile 3 sind dabei als Profilleistenabschnitte ausgeführt, die einen rechten Winkel bilden. Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 7 weisen die Trägerprofilstäbe 1 sowie die aufgesetzten Dekorleisten 2 im Bereich der Rahmenecken auf Gehrung geschnittene Stoßflächen 10 auf. Die Eckverbindungsbauteile 3 sind auch hier als Profilleistenabschnitte ausgeführt, die einen rechten Winkel bilden.The corner design has been explained further with reference to FIGS. 5 and 7. Die Figuren 4 und 8 zeigen, daß zur Verbindung der Zugeordneten Bauteile 1, 2 auch mit Formschlußelementen 11 gearbeitet werden kann. Bei den Ausführungsformen gemäß den Figuren 4 und 8 sind aus optischen Gründen zwischen der sichtbaren Oberfläche 4 des Trägerprofilstabs 1 und der Dekorleiste 2 schmale, etwa 1 Millimeter breite Schattenfugen 12 vorgesehen. Durch die Schattenfugen 12 können Unebenheiten an den zugeordneten Flächen, insbesondere an der Unterseite der vorzugsweise aus Naturprodukten, (z. B. Holz) bestehenden Dekorleisten, optisch ausgeglichen werden. Im Rahmen der Erfindung liegt es ferner, wie in Fig. 8 angedeutet, die Trägerprofilstäbe 1 mit rückseitigen Profilstegen 5 und ggf. Formschlußelementen 11 als einstückiges Bauteil auszubilden, welches durch Strangpreßverfahren hergestellt werden kann.The support profile bars 1 have a flat contact surface for the associated decorative strip 2.
