Definitions
- the invention relates to a water tap, in particular for wash basins and / or sinks, with a housing that can be connected to the supply line network and a water outlet designed as a pull-out hose shower, with a ventilation device being provided to prevent the sucking back of used water through the hose shower.
- a ventilation device is known from the publications DE 36 03 503 A1 and DE 38 05 462 A1, the ventilation device being integrated above the washstand and sink in the housing of the water tap valve, so that the housing turns out to be correspondingly large.
- ventilation devices are not absolutely required in various countries, so that for example for reasons of price, the outlet fitting is to be offered with and without a ventilation device.
- the invention has for its object to provide a reliably working ventilation device in which dripping water does not escape and which is also relatively independent of the water tap, e.g. under the sink or sink, can be installed.
- the ventilation device is arranged as a structural unit with a ventilation chamber in the line to the water outlet, with a water inlet in the upper region of the ventilation chamber, a water outlet designed vertically below in the floor as a jet pump, and a ventilation inlet from the side of the water inlet Atmosphere is provided.
- a check valve is used in the ventilation inlet, which prevents fluid from escaping from the ventilation chamber.
- a reliably working ventilation device is created with extremely simple means.
- the dripping or splashing water collects in the bottom area of the ventilation chamber. Due to the injector-like water flow in the ventilation chamber, it is sucked into the hose line during the normal tapping process, so that the dripping water is then released via the hose shower together with the water flowing in from the water tap fitting.
- a connection to the atmosphere is through the check valve interrupted. Only as soon as there is negative pressure in the ventilation chamber, the check valve is opened immediately, so that the process of sucking back used water via the hose shower is reliably prevented.
- the diaphragm lip check valve (duck bill), which is commercially available at very low prices, can also be used as a check valve, which also has a very low threshold pressure for the air inflow from the atmosphere if a negative pressure occurs on the supply side, e.g. due to a defect in the supply network. Because the ventilation chamber is separated from the atmosphere by the check valve, no siphon effect can occur via the hose line to the hose shower, since the pressure in the ventilation chamber increases accordingly due to a backflow of water, so that only a small amount of water increases in the floor area can accumulate until the pressure in the ventilation chamber corresponds to the pressure of the water column.
- a water tap fitting 1 is arranged on a sink 3 with a sink 31.
- the water tap 1 is supplied via connecting lines 11, 12 with cold and hot water from the supply line network.
- a handle 16 which can be moved in two degrees of freedom, the mixing ratio of cold and hot water being adjustable in a first degree of freedom and the total outflow quantity being adjustable in a second degree of freedom, mixed water via a container 25, a hose line 14, a hose shower 15 are supplied.
- the container 25 is arranged below the sink 3 and attached to a rigid line 13 of the water tap 1 with a water inlet 21.
- a ventilation chamber 2 is enclosed by the container 25.
- the water inlet 21 is formed on the upper end face and is introduced into the ventilation chamber 2 with a nozzle-shaped mouthpiece 211.
- a ventilation inlet 23 with a check valve 24 is arranged parallel to the water inlet 21.
- the ventilation inlet 23 is connected to a ventilation line 231, which opens into the water tap 1 above the sink 3 in the region of the guide for the hose line 14 and establishes the connection to the atmosphere.
- a water outlet 22 is formed perpendicularly below the water inlet 21 in the bottom of the container 25, on which the hose line 14 for the hose shower 15 is connected.
- a separate funnel 26 is arranged concentrically in the ventilation chamber 2 between the water inlet 21 and the water outlet 22.
- the water inlet 21 engages with its mouthpiece 211 with free space in the wide front opening of the funnel 26, while the nozzle-like narrowed end opens into the water outlet 22 as a jet nozzle.
- the funnel 26 is held on the wall of the container 25 by means of ribs 261.
- the container 25 can be made of metal or pressure-resistant plastic.
- the water tap fitting works as follows: The mixed water generated in the water tap 1 reaches the water inlet 21 via the line 13. The water is then discharged from the mouthpiece 211 as a free jet into the funnel 26 and with the end face of the funnel 26 narrowed as a jet nozzle also as a free jet into the water outlet 22 and supplied via the hose line 14 to the hose shower 15, where it can exit into the sink 31 etc. via the water outlet 151 designed as a shower base. If a negative pressure occurs in the supply line network during the dispensing process, this negative pressure reaches the ventilation chamber 2 via the water inlet 21.
- the check valve 24 is opened by the atmosphere, so that atmospheric air is now introduced into the ventilation chamber via the ventilation line 231 2 flow in and can be supplied from here via the water inlet 21 to the supply line system, so that the sucking back of used water from the sink 31 via the hose line 14 is prevented.
- the embodiment shown in Figure 4 differs to the one shown in FIG. 2 essentially by the arrangement of the ventilation inlet 23.
- a special ventilation line is not provided.
- the ventilation inlet 23 is arranged in the side wall in the upper region of the approximately cylindrical container 25 and is directly connected to the atmosphere.
- an apron 252 arranged at a distance from the lateral surface can additionally be formed from the end face, so that contamination of the ventilation inlet 23 is largely excluded.
- the approximately cylindrical container 25 is constructed in three parts and is assembled at the dividing joints 251 indicated by dashed lines. The tight connection in the area of the dividing joints 251 can be produced by welding, gluing, etc.
- the container 25 has a diameter of approximately 30 mm and a length of approximately 50 mm.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a water tap, in particular for wash basins and / or sinks, with a housing that can be connected to the supply line network and a water outlet designed as a pull-out hose shower, with a ventilation device being provided to prevent the sucking back of used water through the hose shower.
Such a device is known from the publications DE 36 03 503 A1 and DE 38 05 462 A1, the ventilation device being integrated above the washstand and sink in the housing of the water tap valve, so that the housing turns out to be correspondingly large. For reasons of taste, for example, the smallest possible water outlet fitting on the washstand is often desired. In addition, ventilation devices are not absolutely required in various countries, so that for example for reasons of price, the outlet fitting is to be offered with and without a ventilation device.
Furthermore, from DE 37 08 169 A1 for household machines a device for preventing the sucking back of process water is known, in which in a tubular, elastic bellows is provided as a ventilation member. In addition to the inlet and outlet opening, a leakage water outlet connection is provided in the floor area, from which the leakage water is removed separately.
The invention has for its object to provide a reliably working ventilation device in which dripping water does not escape and which is also relatively independent of the water tap, e.g. under the sink or sink, can be installed.
This object is achieved in that the ventilation device is arranged as a structural unit with a ventilation chamber in the line to the water outlet, with a water inlet in the upper region of the ventilation chamber, a water outlet designed vertically below in the floor as a jet pump, and a ventilation inlet from the side of the water inlet Atmosphere is provided. In this case, a check valve is used in the ventilation inlet, which prevents fluid from escaping from the ventilation chamber.
Further refinements of the invention are specified in
With the device according to the invention, a reliably working ventilation device is created with extremely simple means.
For the sake of simplicity, the same or corresponding elements are provided with the same reference numerals in the exemplary embodiments in the drawing.

The water tap fitting works as follows:

The embodiment shown in Figure 4 differs to the one shown in FIG. 2 essentially by the arrangement of the
