Auf Grund des Zusammenwirkens von Stützkante und Stützzungen wird der Fliesendeckel an der unteren oder oberen Seite formschlüssig in der Fassung gehalten und braucht an der anderen Seite, also der oberen oder unteren Aussparungsseite nur mit geringer Haltekraft fixiert zu werden, um einen ordnungsgemäßen Sitz sicherzustellen. Es kommt zu einer zentrierten Fliesendeckelhalterung ohne Rutschgefahr für den Deckel und beim Öffnen bleibt dieser an einer Seite in der Fassung abgestützt, so daß ein Fallenlassen auch bei größeren Formaten oder höheren Gewichten nicht mehr zu befürchten ist. Stützzungen und Stützkanten ergeben zusammen eine Art offenes Scharnier, das einerseits eine gewisse Schwenk- oder Verschiebebewegung des Deckels relativ zur Fassung erlaubt und anderseits mit einem Handgriff ein Abnehmen oder Einhängen des Deckels von der oder in die Fassung zuläßt.
