Abstract
Description
There are a number of safety devices to reduce the risk to children or other people from electrical systems.
In order to avoid, for example, children with electrically conductive materials from being able to reach the live parts of sockets - the poles, in particular the phase pole - there are a number of child safety devices, all of which, however, both with regard to the safety of their function and with regard to them have drawbacks to usability.
These disadvantages and uncertainties are completely eliminated if sockets are provided with devices which prevent their poles from being in the voltage state, if these safety devices are not operated in a manner which is almost inaccessible for children playing. Due to the standard-compliant and complete introduction of a standard-compliant device or protective plug and its remaining in the socket, the safety devices are so activated that the mains voltage is on the poles of the socket. If the standard device or protective plug is partially or completely removed from the socket, the safety devices return the poles of the socket to a de-energized state.
The problem can only be solved by using pushbuttons that can change their switching position without a second impulse from the outside. Switches do not perform this task. The use of switches proves to be insufficiently effective, indeed dangerous, because the voltage state is created by inserting the device plug (switch position "on"), but remains after removing it, because the switch does not have a second pulse from outside cannot change its position "on".
For these reasons, a solution to the problem of the invention was developed, which works with mechanical buttons instead of the switches.
The buttons used can either interrupt the current flow to the poles directly, or the relays or contactors can be switched using the buttons.
The object of the invention is achieved in that the power supply to the poles of the socket or only to the live pole is interrupted by one or more switches if non-existent safety sensors (pushers) on the outside of the socket are pressed from the outside in and in remain in this position. As a rule, this is achieved by introducing a standardized device or protective contact plug.
These switches are connected to safety sensors which, in the manner described, preferably actuate the switch or switches mechanically and thus enable or prevent the supply of current.
The principle of single separation or double separation can be used. This means that in the case of single separation, only the live conductor is interrupted by one or more switches, preferably two, which are then operated as described (Figure 1).
In double separation, both conductors (phase and neutral) are interrupted by one or more, preferably two, double switches and switched in accordance with the object of the invention (Figure 1).
Depending on the load-bearing capacity of the buttons used, the single separation can be implemented with (B) or without protection (A) by means of a melt insert (Figure 2).
A simple separation using two pushbuttons, each with a load of 6 A, and a corresponding fuse is shown in Figures 4 and 5. For the execution of the simple separation using two buttons and a fuse, a corresponding composite block (composite block 1) was developed, which optimally arranges the buttons and the fuse on the underside of the composite block while simultaneously realizing all other functions such as a push-through hole, claw hole, socket contacts and protective contact designed in accordance with protection claim 15, taking into account the spatial condition (Figure 5).
The
The underside of composite block 1 (Figure 5 B and C) carries the two buttons and the fuse. The fuse can be omitted if the power consumption of the buttons corresponds to the circuit protection (usually 16A).
The buttons are connected to the base.
A particularly inexpensive and compact solution variant was developed with the development of a composite block (composite block 2).
The mechanical buttons required for the solution of the task according to the invention are integrated in the composite block 2 (Figure 6).
In the top view (Figure 6A),
In the
Corresponding standardized power line devices of known design, which are only visible when the cover plate has been removed (Figure 6 D), are attached to the underside of the block for the power supply.
