Description
322 an geschlossen.
Electrical safety socket The present invention relates to an electrical safety socket with current collector sleeves for receiving the plug pins of a plug to be connected to a feed line.
In the known sockets of this type, accidents, especially of children, can be that the plug pins are only incompletely inserted into the socket and touched, or that a metal pin is inserted into a current collector sleeve of the socket.
Accidents of this type are ruled out by the invention in that it provides that an insulating body rests under spring force on the inner ends of the pantograph sleeves mentioned, which insulating bodies are on their inner sides carry an electrical contact that is electrically connected to another current collector sleeve for the purpose,
when inserting a metal pin into a current collector sleeve, the associated insulating body with its contact ge conditions to bring the restoring spring force only after a certain path to abut on a mating contact connected to the feed line and thereby electrically connect the other current collector sleeve to the feed line.
An embodiment of such a safety socket is shown in the drawing. It is a two-pole socket.
In the insulating body 1 of the socket, which can consist of screwed parts, two current collector sleeves 21 and 22, z. B. brass sleeves mounted. The connection lines are labeled 31 and 32 . They are connected to fixed contacts 311 and 322 by means of screw terminals 310 and 320 .
On the inner front ends of the sleeves 21 and 22, insulating bodies 41 and 42 are arranged displaceably in the axial direction of the sleeves, which on the inner side, i.e. facing away from the sleeves, each have a contact 410 or 420 wear. These contacts are electrically connected to another connector sleeve via conductors 421 or 422 each. It is assumed here that these conductors 421, 422 also form leaf springs which press the insulating bodies 41, 42 under spring force against the inner end faces of the current collector sleeves assigned to them.
However, special spring elements could also be provided for this purpose.
If, for example, a metal pin is inserted into the sleeve 21, it is not connected to a voltage pole, not even if the insulating part 41 is pushed in against the force of the return spring until its contact 410 is at the counter contact 311 < / B>, because this means that it is not the sleeve 21 but the other sleeve 22 that is connected to the pole conductor 31 .
If a normal plug S (shown in dash-dotted lines) is inserted into the socket, its socket pins are only connected to the pole conductor after they have been almost completely inserted, i.e. when they can no longer be touched.
