Definitions
- the invention relates to a blower with an electric motor and at least one impeller on the motor shaft, which is arranged in front of the electric motor in a housing cap with a central suction opening and feeds the sucked-in air through the engine compartment through outlet openings,
- the impeller consists of an impeller disk that is rotationally fixed is connected to the motor shaft and, on the side facing the suction side, carries vanes which are evenly distributed over the circumference, in which the vanes on the suction side are closed with a wing washer which is flush with the outer periphery of the impeller disk and the inner ends of the vanes and a central one Has recess which corresponds in cross section essentially to the suction opening of the housing cap.
- a blower of this type is known from DE-A 14 03 032.
- the operation is associated with high running noises, especially when a large delivery rate is desired.
- vanes are concavely recessed on the end faces facing the circumference of the impeller, that the parabolic recesses of the vanes run into the peripheral edges of the impeller disk and the vane ring disk and that the vanes are concave on the leading side and are correspondingly convex on the trailing side.
- This configuration of the wing cutouts alone reduces the noise even with a high delivery rate.
- two impellers are arranged on the motor shaft, which are located on both sides of an annular stator connected to the housing cap, which is led to the motor shaft down to an annular gap, the circumference of which is at a distance from the housing cap and that is constructed essentially like an impeller.
- the impeller facing the suction opening acts as a suction impeller and the impeller facing the electric motor acts as a pressure impeller.
- the idler leads the air sucked in by the suction wheel to the central inlet of the pressure wheel.
- the structure of the stator is preferably such that the stator is composed of two ring disks, between which vanes are arranged, as in the case of the impeller, and that the vanes of the stator are concavely recessed on both end faces.
- the axial fan has the electric motor 10, which is closed on the outlet side with the outlet connection 35.
- the motor bearing 13 is screwed, which is used to support the motor shaft.
- the two-part housing cap 15, 16 is connected, which form chambers for the impellers 18 and 24 of the two-stage axial fan.
- the housing cap 16 has the suction opening centrally the two-part housing cap 15, 16 connected to form the chambers for the impellers 18 and 24 of the two-stage axial fan.
- the housing cap 16 has the suction opening 17 centrally.
- the engine compartment 32 is connected to the chambers 30 and 31 of the housing cap 15, 16 via the engine mount 13, since the central bearing part of the engine mount 13 is connected to the annular fastening part of the engine mount 13 only via radial webs 14.
- the impeller consists of the impeller disk 19, which is pushed onto the motor shaft 11 with the bore 34 and is fixed thereon in a rotationally fixed manner with the spacer bushings 12.
- Leaf-shaped, somewhat curved blades 21, 21 'and 21''with one longitudinal edge are firmly attached to the impeller disk 19.
- the concave side of the vanes faces the leading side and the convex side of the vanes faces the trailing side of the impeller 18.
- the impeller 18 facing the suction side is closed with the impeller 20.
- the vane washer 20 is fixedly connected to the other longitudinal edge of the vanes 21, 21 'and 21''and is flush on the circumferential side and with its central recess 33 flush with the vane wheel disk 19 and the inner ends of the vanes 21, 21' and 21 ''.
- the end faces of the blades facing the circumference of the impeller 18 are provided with cutouts 22, 22 'and 22''which form concave edges.
- the cutouts 22, 22 ′ and 22 ′′ are symmetrical toward a central plane between the impeller disk 19 and the washer disk 20 and run into the peripheral edges of the impeller disk 19 and the washer disk 20.
- the cutouts 22, 22 'and 22'' are preferably parabolic.
- the central recess 33 of the wing washer 20 is approximately adapted to the size of the central suction opening 17 of the housing cap 15, 16.
- the construction of the impeller 24 serving as a pressure wheel is identical to the construction of the impeller 18, as the impeller disk 25, the vane ring disk 26 and the vanes 27 with the cutouts 28 show.
- the stator 23 is arranged, which is fastened to the housing cap 15, 16 and only leaves the small annular gap 29 exposed to the motor shaft 11.
- the air sucked in via the suction opening 17 leaves the impeller 18 on the circumferential side and is sucked back by the impeller 24 via the stator 23 from the circumferential region into the central region of the chamber 30. From there, the air passes the impeller 24 and is pressed into the engine compartment 32 via the engine mount 13 until the air finally leaves the engine compartment 32 via the outlet connection 35.
- the stator 23 is constructed from two impeller washers and vanes similar to the impellers 18 and 24.
- the wings can also have concave cutouts on the end faces.
- the following values were measured: power consumption 800W, delivery rate 600 liters per minute at a pressure of 150 mbar, speed 25,000 rpm and noise level 62 to 64 dB (A). This results in an average noise reduction of approx. 8 dB (A) compared to comparable devices with other impellers.
- the blower can be designed both as an axial blower and as a bypass blower.
