Description

  • L'invention a pour objet un dispositif d'emballage, notamment pour aliment à consommer chaud.
  • Les nouvelles habitudes de consommation alimentaire rendent nécessaire de pouvoir disposer d'un emballage permettant de conditionner en usine, et dans de bonnes conditions d'asepsie, un aliment dont on souhaite qu'il possède une longue durée de conservation et qui, au cours de cette durée, puisse être consommé chaud sans avoir à être transvasé de son emballage d'origine, qu'il soit chauffé au bain-marie ou dans un four usuel ou dans un four à "micro-ondes". Si ce problème a déjà été abordé dans le cas d'un four à "micro-ondes" dans AU-B-0 565 000 c'est uniquement pour permettre l'échappement de vapeur lors de la cuisson, sans aborder le problème lié au fait que, quel que soit le mode de chauffage de l'aliment, surtout dans le cas du bain-marie ou du chauffage dans un four usuel, le contenant voit lui aussi sa température augmenter jusqu'à atteindre des valeurs (différentes il est vrai dans l'un et l'autre cas), mais qui peuvent être suffisamment élevées pour qu'il existe, à la sortie du four ou du bain marie, un risque de brûlure pour l'utilisateur, en particulier si celui-ci est un enfant.

  • En donnant à la retombée une hauteur sensiblement moitié de celle du dispositif d'emballage, le couvercle, qui permet de refermer l'ouverture du récipient après désoperculage, par exemple lorsque le contenu total de celui-ci n'est pas consommé, peut également être emboîté sous le dispositif, lequel repose alors sur un support par une surface de grande dimension qui en accroît la stabilité.
  • Pour permettre au dispositif selon l'invention d'être mis en oeuvre, comme indiqué ci-dessus, aussi bien à l'aide d'un bain-marie, d'un four usuel, qu'à l'aide d'un four "micro-ondes", le matériau constitutif du dispositif est, d'une part, résistant aux températures normales qui peuvent être atteintes dans un four usuel et, d'autre part, choisi parmi les matières plastiques "transparentes" au rayonnement électro-magnétique.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, un ou des matériau(x) constitutif(s) du dispositif est(sont) un(des) matériau(x) du type "barrière", c'est-à-dire à feuille ou film avantageusement à plusieurs couches accolées les unes aux autres et choisies pour les propriétés qu'elles ont de faire obstacle au passage de fluide gazeux, permettant ainsi une longue conservation du produit enfermé dans l'emballage sans dégradation de ses qualités organoleptiques et de stérilité, etc...
  • Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse du dispositif, le récipient est conformé suivant une coupelle et la matière plastique qui forme la coupelle est de préférence transulucide, le couvercle, par contre, étant en un matériau transparent différent de celui de ladite coupelle, les matières plastiques mises en oeuvre étant avantageusement choisies dans la famille des CPET (polyéthylène-téréphatalate cristallisé) dont on sait qu'ils peuvent résister à des températures de l'ordre de 250°C ou dans celle des EVOH (éthylvinyle alcool) ou des polyamides NMXD6 ou NYREF ou des PVdC.
  • L'invention sera bien comprise par la description qui suit, faite à titre d'exemple et en référence au dessin annexé dans lequel :
    • la figure 1 est une vue de dessus de l'ensemble du dispositif d'emballage ;
    • la figure 2 est une vue du dispositif sans son couvercle ;
    • la figure 3 est une vue en élévation du dispositif pour une première condition du couvercle avec un agrandissement partiel ;
    • la figure 4 est une vue analogue à celle de la figure 3, mais pour une autre condition du couvercle également avec un agrandissement partiel ;
    • la figure 5 est une vue en perspective éclatée du dispositif selon l'invention.
  • Un dispositif d'emballage selon l'invention, notamment pour le conditionnement d'un produit alimentaire à consommer chaud, comprend un contenant 10, représenté ici suivant une coupelle ou assiette, -cette indication n'ayant toutefois aucun caractère limitatif-, auquel est associé un couvercle 11 de forme en partie conjuguée de celle du contenant ou récipient 10. Ce dernier est avantageusement réalisé par formage et plus précisément thermoformage profond de matière plastique pour présenter un fond 12 et une paroi latérale 13 se terminant à l'opposé du fond par un bord annulaire 14 qui ménage une plage de thermoscellage d'un opercule 16 avec languette de préhension 16′ de fermeture du contenant 10.
  • Selon l'invention, le bord annulaire 14 est prolongé, à l'extérieur de la paroi 13, par une retombée 15 dont la hauteur est sensiblement égale à la moitié de la hauteur h qui est celle de la coupelle mesurée entre le fond 12 et la zone annulaire 14, ladite retombée s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à la paroi 13, du moins dans la zone de cette dernière adjacente au bord annulaire 14.
  • A son extrémité libre la retombée 15 présente, conformément à l'invention, un retour en saillie radiale ou collerette 20 s'étendant dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à l'axe XX de révolution du dispositif. Avec cette collerette 20 est propre à coopérer à emboîtement une gorge 21 ménagée au voisinage du bord libre 22 du couvercle 11 lequel, de forme conjuguée de celle de la retombée 15, est ici quelque peu à allure d'assiette avec une paroi latérale 25 et un fond 26 de relativement grande surface, la hauteur du couvercle étant légèrement supérieure à h/2. Une telle structure permet d'associer le couvercle 11 au contenant 10 de la façon montrée sur la figure 3, c'est-à-dire en laquelle le couvercle est au-dessus du dispositif, soit pour protéger l'opercule 16 aussi longtemps que celui-ci est présent, soit pour refermer le contenant 10 après désoperculage. Elle permet également d'associer le couvercle 11 au contenant 10 de la façon montrée sur la figure 4, en laquelle le couvercle est au-dessous du dispositif, procurant à ce dernier une excellente stabilité et fournissant un "écran" thermique lorsque le dispositif d'emballage et son contenu ont été préalablement chauffés, sans couvercle.
  • Pour permettre au dispositif d'être mis en oeuvre, aussi bien à l'aide d'un bain-marie, d'un four usuel (mais alors sans couvercle) ou à l'aide d'un four "micro-ondes" (sans désoperculage si le matériau de l'opercule 16 est convenablement choisi) ou après désoperculage et alors remise en place éventuelle du couvercle 11 au-dessus du contenant 10, le ou les matériau(x) constitutif(s) du contenant 10 et du couvercle 11 est(sont), d'une part, résistant(s) aux températures qui peuvent être atteintes dans un four usuel jusqu'à 250°C et, d'autre part, choisi(s) parmi les matières plastiques "transparentes" au rayonnement électromagnétique.
  • Des matières plastiques appropriées pour ce faire peuvent être choisies dans la famille des CPET (polyéthylène-téréphtalate cristallisé) dont on sait qu'elles peuvent résister à des températures de l'ordre de 250°C et qui peuvent être mises en forme par thermoformage profond.
  • D'autres matériaux appropriés sont ceux choisis dans la famille des EVOH (éthylvinyle alcool) ou des PVdC ou des polyamides, par exemple ceux connus sous les noms commerciaux de NMXD6 ou NYREF.
  • Complémentairement, le ou les matériau(x) constitutif(s) du dispositif présente(nt) des propriétés de "barrière" faisant obstacle aux échanges gazeux et permettent d'assurer au produit enfermé dans le contenant 10 (traité par exemple par stérilisation) une très longue durée de conservation, qui peut être de l'ordre d'un an pour un dispositif gardé à température ambiante normale.

Claims (8)

  1. Dispositif d'emballage en matière plastique à forme générale de récipient à fond et paroi latérale présentant à I'opposé dudit fond un bord annulaire qui se prolonge à l'extérieur de ladite paroi par une retombée avec un couvercle pouvant être rapporté au-dessus du récipient dans une première condition et au-dessous dudit récipient, dans une autre condition, caractérisé en ce que ladite retombée (15) est façonnée à son extrémité distante du bord (14), -lequel forme une plage de scellage d'un opercule de fermeture (16)-, suivant un retour en saillie radiale (20) avec lequel est propre à coopérer à emboîtement une nervure (21) de forme conjuguée ménagée sur le bord libre du couvercle (11).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la retombée (15) a une hauteur sensiblement moitié de celle (h) du dispositif d'emballage.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (11) est de hauteur légèrement supérieure à la moitié de celle du dispositif.
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le ou les matériau(x) constitutif(s) du dispositif est(sont) d'une part, résistant(s) aux températures normales qui peuvent être atteintes dans un four usuel et, d'autre part, choisi(s) parmi les matières plastiques "transparentes" au rayonnement électro-magnétique.
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que son ou ses matériau(x) constitutif(s) est(sont) du type "barrière", c'est-à-dire à feuille ou film avantageusement à plusieurs couches accolées les unes aux autres et choisies pour les propriétés qu'elles ont de faire obstacle au passage de fluide gazeux.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le récipient (10) est conformé suivant une coupelle et est réalisé par thermoformage profond d'une ou de matière(s) plastique(s) avantageusement choisie(s) dans la famille des CPET (polyéthylène-téréphtalate cristallisé) pouvant résister à des températures de l'ordre de 250°C.
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que le récipient est conformé suivant une coupelle en une ou des matière(s) plastique(s) choisie(s) dans la famille des EVOH (éthylvinyle alcool) ou des PVdC ou des polyamides NMXD6 ou NYREF.
  8. Dispositif selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce que le contenant (10) est translucide et le couvercle (11) transparent.
