Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a ski has already been described in EP-A-0354 379.
  • Containers made of plastic are used in the core of this ski, in each of which a two-layer receiving part for fastening screws is accommodated.
  • One layer consists of high-strength material and the other layer consists of a viscoelastic material.
  • the layers are placed in the individual containers, but an undesired relative movement, that is to say a slipping between the two components in the horizontal plane, is possible.
  • EP-A-0354 379 provides for the two layers to be glued in order to counteract a relative movement.
  • the associated manufacturing effort extends the manufacturing time and thereby increases the manufacturing costs.
  • the invention is based on the object to eliminate the disadvantages of the known solutions and to create a ski, the production of which is less complex and in which the relative movement between the elastic and high-strength components which are accommodated in a container in the core of the ski is prevented .
  • this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of this claim. These features ensure a simple and secure connection of the receiving part made of high-strength material to the tub made of viscoelastic material by positive locking, the position of the receiving part being defined in the tub.
  • the measure of claim 2 represents an advantageous construction of the tub with the receiving part.
  • Claim 3 ensures a further, vertical securing of the receiving part in the tub.
  • claims 4 and 5 provide further positive connections between the receiving part and the tub to fix the receiving part in the tub in the horizontal direction. Due to the features of claim 6, the raised, circumferential wall of the tub is reinforced in its tapered sections, thereby ensuring increased stability for the entire tub.
  • the measure of claim 7 represents an easier assembly of the lid for closing the container.
  • the walls of the container are thereby reinforced.
  • the object of claim 8 ensures that there is no unwanted accumulation of the viscoelastic material of the bottom of the tub when tightening the fastening screws.
  • Fig.1 is a longitudinal central section through the ski.
  • Fig. 2 shows the binding screw receiving part in a top view.
  • FIGS. 3 to 5 show the trough with the receiving part inserted, FIG. 3 being a plan view, FIG. 4 being a partial longitudinal central section and FIG. 5 being a view from below.
  • a ski is designated 1.
  • the ski 1 consists of a core 2, of upper and lower cover layers 3 and 4, of a tread 5 and of side cheeks, not shown.
  • each of these grooves an upwardly open container 7 made of plastic is used, which is closed with a lid 8 and firmly connected, for example glued, to the core 2.
  • a tub 9 made of elastomeric material which tub 9 essentially consists of a bottom 9a with a raised, circumferential one Wall 9b and the outer wall 9c has the shape of the container 7 ( Figures 3 to 5).
  • the tub 9 has on its inner wall 9d a circumferential groove 9e above the bottom 9a, in which a strip-shaped receiving part 10 made of high-strength material, for example made of metal, whose cross-section is essentially rectangular, and for receiving fastening screws 11 of a ski binding 14 serves.
  • the thickness of the groove 9e corresponds to that of the receiving part 10.
  • the groove 9e of the tub 9 has opposite ribs 9g in its central longitudinal section and flats 9h on its end faces.
  • the receiving part 10 has in its central longitudinal section opposite recesses 10a and on its end faces flats 10b, which correspond to the ribs 9g and the flats 9h of the tub 9 and interact in a form-fitting manner.
  • a transverse web 9f is formed above the ribs 9g of the groove 9e, which connects the two longitudinal side walls of the tub 9 to one another and rests with its base on the upper side of the receiving part 10.
  • the longitudinal side walls of the tub 9 have, in their upper edge sections, two recesses 9i, which receive cover attachments 8a, which center the cover 8 in the container 7 (FIGS. 1, 3 and 4).
  • the bottom 9a of the tub 9 is provided with holes 9k which, according to FIGS. 4 and 5, have circular cross sections. All holes 9k are approximately the same size and are arranged at regular intervals, the bottom 9a of the bottom 9a of the tub 9, which lies below the transverse web 9f of the tub 9, being fully formed. Furthermore, the holes 9k are arranged in such a way that they are mirror-symmetrical on the left and right, with respect to the plane running centrally through the crosspiece 9f. The individual holes 9k can be designed as blind holes.
  • Fig.1 shows that on the top of the receiving part 10 spacers 12 are supported, which penetrate the lid 8 of the container 7 and the upper cover layers 3 of the ski 1 and protrude above the top of the ski 1a.
  • the spacer sleeves 12 are riveted to a plate 13 which rests on the top 1a of the ski 1.
  • the ski binding 14 is fixed on the upper side 1a of the ski 1 by means of a base plate 15 by means of fastening screws 11 which pass through the spacer sleeves 12 and are screwed into the receiving part 10.
  • the fastening screw 11 shown on the right in the figure is shown immediately after insertion into the spacer sleeve 12 and the left fastening screw 11 after the screws have been tightened. From the latter representation it can be seen that the fastening screw 11 passes through the receiving part 10 in the tightened state and projects with its free end into the bottom 9a of the tub 9, the elastic material displaced by the fastening screws 11 into the holes 9k of the bottom 9a of the tub 9 evades.
  • the elastic mounting of the receiving part 10 in the tub 9 enables a relative movement of the plate 13, with the base plate 15 of the ski binding 14 arranged above it, with respect to the upper side 1a of the ski 1, as a result of which vibrations are transmitted from the ski 1 to the ski binding 14 , are largely dampened.
  • the spacer sleeve 12 can be made even longer, so that there is an intermediate space between the upper side 1a of the ski 1 and the plate 13, in which a layer of viscoelastic material can be inserted.
  • strip-shaped receiving part to be provided with a step which is stepped down.
  • a circumferential approach of the receiving part engages in the groove, which in this embodiment, seen in the vertical direction of the tub, is formed at a distance from the bottom thereof.
