Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a mattress according to the preamble of the main claim.
A generic mattress is described in DE-U-89 00 196. Here, the actual mattress consists of a base mattress made of foam over the entire length and the entire cross section. The base mattress has a recess which extends essentially over the entire length of the base mattress. A cushion body made of several foam sheets known from EP-A-236 668 is inserted into the recess.
From DE-A-25 42 178 an artificial foam cushion body with increased edge or edge rigidity is known, whereby upstanding foam sheets are glued to the side surfaces of the cushion body, that have a firm layer of skin. This arrangement is intended to ensure the dimensional stability in the edge region of a foam body.
Today, good mattresses are subject to a variety of often contradictory requirements:
A good mattress is not so hard that it forces the sleeper to make an increased number of movements in order to relieve the stressed parts of the body.
A good mattress is not so soft that it impedes the sleeper's movements and skin breathing.
Sie bildet aber um diesen Belastungspunkt keine weitergehenden Kuhlen, sondern stützt bereits die Nachbarregion wieder ab.A good mattress is point elastic, i.e. H. it yields only in that narrowly defined area where it is stressed. However, it does not form any further hollows around this stress point, but already supports the neighboring region again.
Eine gute Matratze gibt also z. A good mattress gives z. B. in the center of gravity under the buttocks and hips, but is able to give full support again in the lumbar area.
In addition, a good mattress must match the biomechanical, i.e. H. meet the orthopedic requirements and at the same time the physiological, d. H. meet microclimate requirements.
The invention has for its object to improve the generic mattress so that the mattress can be adjusted to the special needs of the user at any time with just a few individual parts and little work and an individual lying comfort can be created that contributes to recovery, supports therapy goals and Avoids secondary diseases.
This object on which the invention is based is achieved by the teaching of the main claim.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen erläutert.Advantageous configurations are explained in the subclaims.
In other words, a mattress system It is proposed that the best conditions be given to be able to optimally position the patient according to his or her individual needs, without neglecting the hygiene requirements, practical handling and economy.
The principle of operation of the system according to the invention consists of a base mattress which has a recess in the area of the lying surface. Depending on the patient's medical situation, a specially designed mattress core with different positioning effects can be inserted into this recess. In the area of the recess, the material of the base mattress is also strongly consolidated, so that the spine always finds a firm abutment and is well supported. The respective mattress combination is completed by a removable cushion cover.
According to the invention, two basic mattresses are proposed in which the requirement is met to combine the advantages of a hard mattress for orthopedically correct lying with the advantages of a soft mattress for comfortable, tissue-relieved lying. For commercial use, the mattress system according to the invention enables the special needs of the patient to be addressed at any time with a few individual parts and little maintenance. Individual storage contributes to recovery, supports therapy and care goals and helps to avoid secondary diseases.
The base mattress can be 14 cm high and have a 70 x 90 x 7 cm recess in the lying area for the individually insertable mattress core.
The compression hardness of the base mattresses is designed according to the different load zones of a functional care mattress. It is very soft in the foot area to reduce the heel pressure, has fixed side areas that ensure a safe sitting of the patient, e.g. B. in mobilization efforts. In the recess area, i.e. H. in the area of the recess, the base mattress is very firm for good spine support.
According to a first feature of the invention, the base mattress can consist of a polyurethane foam composite, which gives the mattress a high durability and a long service life. The excellent climate regulation is achieved through the air cells of the polyurethane material as well as through an additional, repeatable tube punching over the entire surface of the mattress.
According to another feature of the invention, the base mattress consists of a fiber core made of hollow fibers. These hollow fibers are specially crimped fibers that are traversed by four channels along their entire length. This structure gives the fiber resilient properties with good stability and also makes it permeable to air and water vapor. For the manufacture of the mattress according to the invention, many layers of hollow fiber nonwovens are thermally bonded to one another and extremely solidified in the recess area. This is how it is created a mattress with exceptional flexural rigidity and good elasticity at the same time. It therefore yields to pressure when subjected to loads, but without bending and sagging.
This mattress is ideal for patients who need a very firm abutment to support the spine.
According to the invention it is further proposed that the mattress core has a filling made of rhombic-cut air cell sticks made of polyurethane foam in a fabric cover. This mattress core with its highly elastic filling provides good pressure relief and offers exceptional comfort. This type of mattress core is used for the storage of pressure sensitive patients, but is also ideal for positioning patients with pronounced pain conditions, e.g. B. for complaints of the rheumatic type. The patients lie softly, whereby the constant air circulation in the air cell sticks results in a pleasant, consistently dry heat without heat build-up and cold bridges. Nevertheless, the patients and mattress users are stored safely and in accordance with the spine. They do not "sink" into the mattress, which is of great care.
It is also proposed to use two foam webs of different density and compression hardness as the mattress core. This material structure results in a certain elasticity behavior, which allows a dosed sinking of the body. It is absorbed softly and meets increasing resistance as it sinks further, until it is finally supported by the fixed abutment of the base mattress. This storage effect is reinforced by the high point elasticity of the material, because the foam only gives way where it is loaded. In supine positions z. B. sink the buttocks into the mattress core while supporting the lumbar spine. In the lateral position, the hip and shoulder areas can modulate in such a way that the spine is as straight as possible with a slight stretch in the lumbar area.
Relaxed storage, relief and slight stretching then lead to an improved metabolism of the intervertebral discs with the chance of an intensive recovery during the lying phase.
The cushion covers provided according to the invention have a 15 mm thick foam insert, which is preferably designed according to the regulation of EP-B1-236 668.
This cushioning layer and the soft, preferably skin-friendly upholstery fabrics are connected to each other by longitudinal stitching. All cover fabrics used are elastic so that they can harmonize with the elasticity of the mattress core and the formation of wrinkles is minimized.

In Fig. 1, a
The
If the
On the one hand, this
On the other hand, two
Finally, the
Instead of an upholstered cushion as a mattress core, a water cushion or a gel cushion can be used.
These
The
The top of the
The overall combination of
