Der Druckwächter bestimmt nun indirekt die Füllmenge durch Ab- bzw. Zuschalten eines Zulaufventils. Ferner ist der Auffangbehälter mit einer zweiten, direkt in den Behälter der Maschine mündenden Ablaufleitung versehen. Überdies ist der Ionenaustauschbehälter über eine Extraleitung direkt mit der Frischwasserzuleitung verbindbar. Bei dieser bekannten Bauart wird während eines jeden Programmablaufes der Geschirrspülmaschine in dem Programmabschnitt "Regenerieren" der Auffangbehälter bis in Höhe einer Überlaufschwelle kurzzeitig mit Wasser gefüllt. Zusätzlich zugeführtes Wasser fließt durch die zweite Ablaufleitung direkt in den Spülbehälter der Geschirrspülmaschine ab. Das vom Auffangbehälter gesammelte Wasser fließt dagegen unter dem Einfluß der Schwerkraft direkt in den Salzbehälter, von dem gleichzeitig eine dem Aufnahmevolumen des Auffangbehälters entsprechende Menge Sole dem Ionenaustauschbehälter zugeführt wird, um dessen Ionenaustauschfüllung zu regenerieren. Bei dieser bekannten Bauart ist das Aufnahmevolumen des Auffangbehälters durch eine höhenverstellbare Überlaufschwelle veränderbar. Die Geschirrspülmaschine 10 enthält einen Behälter 11 zur Aufnahme des zu spülenden Geschirrs. Mit 24 ist ein dem Dosierventil 21 nachgeschaltes Zweiwegeventil bezeichnet, dem eine Wasserenthärtungsanlage mit einem Salzbehälter 25 und einem Ionenaustauscher 26 nachgeordnet ist. Die statische Höhe 17 kann dadurch mit geringer Toleranz gehalten werden. Bei Wasserbedarf im Geschirrspüler 10 wird das Dosierventil 21 durch das Zeitglied des Programmsteuergerätes 23 angesteuert und durch festgesetzte Zeiten offengehalten. Je nach Stellung des Zweiwegeventils 24 wird das durchlaufende Wasser entweder direkt durch den Ionenaustauscher 26 über die Leitung 27 oder durch den Salzbehälter 25 und den Ionenaustauscher 26 über die Leitung 27 in den Behälter 11 geführt. Claims (10)

  1. Device for controlling the water supply quantity for a washing or dishwashing machine comprising a treatment receptacle (11) and a programme control unit (23), wherein in the upper region of the machine is arranged a storage vessel (12) which is connected to a water supply (13 to 15) and which is connected by an outlet pipe (22) to the treatment receptacle (11) of the machine, and the outlet pipe (22) comprises a valve (21) which can be operated by the programme control unit, characterised in that the treatment receptacle (11) is supplied exclusively from the storage receptacle, in that the valve (21) is designed as a proportioning valve provided with an orifice plate, of which the opening time for measuring the water througflow quantity can be time-controlled by a time function element of the programme control unit (23), and in that the storage vessel (12) contains a regulating device (18, 19, 20) which controls the water supply and with which its water level (17) when the proportioning valve (21) is open can be kept approximately at the same height.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the proportioning valve (21) is provided with an adjustable orifice plate.
  3. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that two stationary reed switches (18, 19) and a float (20) carried by the water level (17) are provided as the regulating device.
  4. Device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that in the outlet pipe (22) behind the proportioning valve (21) are provided a two-way valve (24) and a water softening device with a salt receptacle (25) and an ion exchanger (26).
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the two-way valve (24) is mounted behind the proportioning valve (21) as a separate component.
  6. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the two-way valve (24) is integrated in the water softening system.
  7. Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the storage vessel (12) of flat construction contacts the rear wall or a side wall of the receptacle (11).
  8. Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the storage vessel (12) is provided with a pipe (28) via an opening, which pipe opens out either into the receptacle (11) or into a bottom trough arranged below the receptacle (11).
  9. Device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the storage vessel (12) is provided with a heating device.
  10. Device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a multi-way valve (29) for supplying proportioning chambers (30) containing detergents is mounted behind the proportioning valve (21).
