Der Spannkopf umfaßt einen Tragarm 1. Der Tragarm 1 kann an einer festen Seitenwand oder an den Armen eines Rollensternes fest angeschlossen sein. In dem Tragarm 1 ist ein Zahnrad 2 drehbar gelagert, dessen Zähne mit einer Zahnstange 3 einer Lagerbuchse 4 kämmen. Die Lagerbuchse 4 ist im Tragarm 1 axial verschiebbar geführt. Das Zahnrad 3 kann in nicht näher dargestellter Weise entweder von Hand oder mittels eines Stellmotors betätigt werden. Im Innenraum der Lagerbuchse 4 ist mittels eines vorderen Wälzlagers 5 sowie eines weiteren nicht dargestellten, rückwärtigen Wälzlagers ein Spanndorn 6 drehbar, aber gegenüber der Lagerbuchse 4 axial unverschiebbar gelagert. Das aus der Lagerbuchse 4 herausragende freie Ende des Spanndornes 6 ist mit an sich bekannten, nicht näher dargestellten Spreizbacken 7 zum Festlegen einer aufgeschobenen Hülse einer Bahnrolle versehen. Dabei bildet eine Stirnfläche 8 eines Spannringes 9 einen Anschlag für die aufzuschiebende Hülse.The clamping head comprises a
Der Tragarm 1 weist eine Stirnseite 10 mit mehreren zylindrischen Ausnehmungen 11 auf. Zweckmäßig sind drei zylindrische Ausnehmungen 11 vorgesehen. Durch jede der zylindrischen Ausnehmungen 11 ragt ein Führungsstift 12 mit einem zylindrischen Kopf 13 größeren Durchmessers. Auf dem Kopf 13 ist eine Führungsbuchse 14 mit ihrer Innenfläche 15 gleitend gelagert. Die Führungsbuchse 14 weist an ihrem dem Tragarm 1 zugewandten Ende einen ringförmigen, sich nach innen erstreckenden Ansatz 16 auf. Mit der Innenfläche des Ansatzes 16 ist die Führungsbuchse 14 auf dem Führungsstift 12 gleitend gelagert. Der ringförmige Ansatz 16 bildet gleichzeitig ein Widerlager für das eine Ende einer schraubenförmigen Druckfeder 17, die den Führungsstift 12 umgibt. Das ander Ende der Druckfeder 17 stützt sich am Kopf 13 des Führungsstiftes 12 ab. Fest mit der Führungsbuchse 14 ist ein Auswerferring 18 verbunden, der den Spanndorn 6 außen umgibt. Der Innendurchmesser des Auswerferringes 18 ist nur geringfügig größer als sein der Stirnfläche 8 des Spannringes 9 zugewandter Außendurchmesser. Er ist kleiner als der gestrichelt angedeutete Außendurchmesser 19 einer auszuwerfenden Hülse. Die Stirnfläche 20 des Auswerferrings 18 ist weiterhin in der Position dargestellt, in der der Spanndorn 6 soweit in Richtung des Pfeiles "a" ausgefahren ist, wie es zum Aufspannen einer Hülse einer Bahnrolle erforderlich ist. Durch die Druckfeder 17 ist gewährleistet, daß der Auswerferring 18 an der Stirnfläche 21 der Lagerbuchse 4 kraftschlüssig anliegt und somit immer ein konstanter Abstand "c" eingehalten wird, damit der statische Auswerferring 18 niemals an der rotierenden Hülse einer Bahnrolle anlaufen kann. Diese Ausgestaltung ermöglicht es, den Spanndorn 6 zur Einstellung der Seitenkante der abzuwickelnden Bahn um einen bestimmten Weg in Richtung des Pfeiles "a" oder "b" zu verfahren, ohne daß der Auswerferring 18 eine axial wirkende Kraft auf die aufgespannte Hülse ausübt.The
Befindet sich auf dem Spanndorn 6 eine Hülse einer Bahnrolle, die ausgeworfen werden soll, so wird der Spanndorn 6 mittels des Zahnrades 2 über die verzahnte Lagerbuchse 4 in Richtung des Pfeiles "b" bewegt.
