Definitions

  • the invention is based on an electrically operated hand tool according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • DE-OS 33 29 005 shows such a hand tool, the switch toggle of which is held in the housing by means of a washer and a snap ring.
  • This shift lever can only be used when the housing is open and before the other inner parts of the machine are installed.
  • the installation of the snap ring requires special tools.
  • the hand tool according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that the assembly is considerably simplified.
  • the switch toggle can be used from the outside in the last assembly step without tools and is locked by a spring-loaded switch button, which also causes the switch toggle to snap into different switch positions.
  • This has the further advantage that the grease required to lubricate the transmission before the shift knob is inserted through the open housing opening can be injected. This prevents grease from entering the engine area, as is easily possible with previous assembly methods, and leading to premature damage there.
  • the hammer drill 1 contains in its housing 2 essentially a motor 3, a gear 4, a striking mechanism 5 designed as an air cushion hammer mechanism and a tool holder 6, into which a tool 7 suitable for the respective application can be inserted.
  • the motor 3 has a pinion 8, which is always in engagement with an outer ring gear 9 of a clutch gear 10.
  • the gear wheel 10 has a toothing 11 on its end face. It is under the action of a compression spring 12, which in turn is supported against an axial bearing 14 bearing against the housing part 13.
  • the toothing 11 can engage in a counter toothing 15 on a wobble hub 29 of the striking mechanism 5 and together with this forms a coupling 11/15.
  • the clutch gear 10 is supported in the wobble hub 29.
  • the intermediate shaft 17 is rotatably mounted in the gear 10 by means of an axially displaceable needle bearing 16.
  • the intermediate shaft 17 has a thickened central part 18, on the right side of which facing the clutch gear 10 there is arranged a counter-toothing 19 which forms a clutch 11/19 with the toothing 11.
  • the left end of the intermediate shaft 17 is axially displaceably mounted in a needle bearing 22 seated in the housing 2.
  • a ball bearing 23 is pressed onto the middle part 18 following the longitudinal toothing 20, on the outer ring 24 of which a switching element 25 engages for the axial displacement of the intermediate shaft 17.
  • the switching element 25 shown as a detail in FIG. 3 has a pin 26 on its side facing the housing 2.
  • a stop 27 and a holding bore 28 are attached to the switching piece 25 below the pin 26.
  • a switching spring 30 with its eyelet 31 is attached to the pin 26.
  • the switching spring 30 has, as can be seen from FIG. 4, two legs 32, 33 which are bent at about half the length. The longer leg 33 additionally has a bulge 34 at its kink. In the inserted state, the leg 32 of the switching spring 30 bears against the stop 27 of the switching element 25 and is guided in the holding bore 28.
  • a switching finger 36 engages between the legs 32 and 33 of the switching spring 30 and is arranged eccentrically on a switching toggle 37 held on the housing 2.
  • the switching toggle 37 is guided with its cylindrical section 38 in a cylindrical bore 39 in the housing 2.
  • a rubber ring 40 inserted into the cylindrical section 38 prevents transmission grease from escaping when the shift knob 37 is inserted.
  • the cylindrical section 38 has a central extension 41 with a reduced diameter.
  • the extension 41 is seated in an approximately the same diameter, integrally formed on the housing 2 washer 42. On the part of the extension 41 projecting beyond the washer 42, four differently shaped and differently sized non-congruent teeth 44 to 47 are attached.
  • the washer 42 has four recesses 48 to 51 of different sizes shaped in accordance with the teeth 44 to 47, so that in a rotational position, the mounting position, the switching knob 37 with its teeth 44 to 47 can be inserted through the washer 42 (see also figures 5 and 6).
  • the parts 41 to 51 together form a bayonet connection, which is detachable in the mounting position and in all other rotational positions of the switching toggle captively connects it to the housing 2.
  • the teeth 44 to 47 engage behind the ring disk 42.
  • the switch toggle 37 has a blind hole 53 directed transversely to its axis of rotation relative to the extension 41.
  • a switch button 54 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner therein.
  • the switch button 54 is pushed radially outward by a compression spring 55 and has a nose 56.
  • the part of the switching button 54 which projects beyond the contour of the switching knob 37 forms a handle 57 on which the switching button 54 can be pressed into the switching knob 37.
  • the switch button 54 has a barb 58.
  • the housing has a substantially annular recessed groove 60 around the cylindrical bore 39. The groove 60 is so wide over a semicircle that the nose 56 can be accommodated therein even when the handle 57 is pressed in.
  • the groove 60 has three latching recesses 61 to 63 at intervals of 90 degrees.
  • the nose 56 snaps into the two latching recesses 62 and 63 in a positive-locking manner.
  • a section 64 with a reduced groove width is added to the groove 60.
  • the intermediate shaft 17 Before assembly of the toggle 37, the intermediate shaft 17 is brought into its position closest to the tool holder, so that the longitudinal toothing 20 abuts or engages in the toothed disk 21.
  • the switch toggle 37 is inserted into the cylindrical bore 39 in the rotational position, in which the teeth 44 to 47 are congruent with the recesses 48 to 51.
  • This mounting position is arranged outside the switching path between the switching positions in relation to the first switching position "chiseling" rotated by approximately 45 °.
  • the nose 56 can only be inserted into the groove section 64 in the assembly position.
  • the handle 57 must be pressed deep into the switching knob 37 beyond the outer contour of the switching knob 37 with a pointed finger or an elongated object.
  • the shift finger 36 engages during assembly at the level of the bulge 34 in the MZ position when the toothing 20/21 tooth on tooth is in or into the position ME when the toothing 20/21 is engaged into the switching spring 30 (FIG. 4).
  • the switching knob 37 can be turned to the left.
  • the switch button 54 snaps out of the switch toggle 37 as soon as the nose 56 has left the narrow groove section 64 into the switch position M / B.
  • the nose 56 engages in the locking recess 61 for chiseling.
  • this switching position only the striking mechanism 5 is activated via the clutch 11/15; the rotary drive for the tool holder 6 is switched off and the tool holder 6 is locked in a rotationally fixed manner because the longitudinal toothing 20 engages in the toothed disk 21.
  • the switch button 54 has to be deliberately pressed into the switch toggle 37 in order to release the positive connection of the nose 56 in the latching recess 61.
  • the switching knob 37 reaches its second switching position, the percussion drilling position.
  • the shift finger 36 moves into the SB position with respect to the shift spring 30 (FIG. 4).
  • the counter toothing 19 of the intermediate shaft 17 then engages in the toothing 11 simultaneously with the counter toothing 15 of the wobble hub 29.
  • the clutch gear 10 can retract for synchronization against the force of the compression spring 12 before engaging.
  • both the intermediate shaft 17 for transmitting the rotary drive and the wobble hub 29 for turning on the striking mechanism 5 are driven in rotation. If the switching knob 37 is turned a further 90 degrees, the drilling position is reached.
  • the shift finger 36 is then in the M / B position relative to the shift spring 30.
  • the rotary motion of the motor pinion 8 is transmitted to the intermediate shaft 17 via the clutch gear 10 and the clutch 11/19.
  • the intermediate shaft 17 drives the tool holder 6 via its longitudinal toothing 20.
  • the striking mechanism 5 is not driven and stands still.
  • the switching finger 36 presses against the longer leg 33 of the switching spring 30, which can be deflected into the position shown in broken lines in FIG. 4 until the toothing 20/21 engages. This ensures that the switching knob 37 can be turned from any switching position into any other switching position, even if tooth is on tooth on one of the clutches 11/15, 11/19 or the toothing 20/21.
  • the springs 12 and 30 each ensure that the couplings then engage when one of the coupling parts continues to rotate.
  • the shift knob 37 cannot come loose in the chisel, impact drilling and drilling operating positions and in the switching paths in between, since the teeth 44 to 47 each at least partially engage behind the annular disk 42.
  • two teeth that are not congruent with each other in their radial extent are sufficient, but more than three teeth can also be provided. With a single tooth, the shift toggle would not easily fit tightly.
  • the switch toggle 37 can only be brought into the assembly position if the handle 57 is pressed deep into the switch toggle 37 far beyond the contour thereof and is rotated further to the right beyond the chisel position. This prevents accidental disassembly of the toggle 37 by an operator.
