Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-part wall cladding, in particular of bulkheads and similar walls in ships by means of metallic material, the claddings being essentially self-supporting and only being supported on the wall.
- a profile rail which is to be used in connection with plate-shaped cover elements as a component for apparatus housings.
- This profile has a slot on at least one side, into which plates with a core made of insulating plastic and metallic cover layers can be inserted.
- the end edges of the plates are clamped by the profiles bent from sheet metal, provided with elastic angles, each end edge of a plate must have a groove which is pushed onto a pin protruding from the profile rail in the slot, and a connecting leg protrudes from the plane of the plates from each slot, so that the plates can be connected by a screw connection between connecting legs of the profiles.
- This solution requires two profiles, each with a slot, has connecting legs projecting from the plate and requires a screw connection of these connecting legs.
- a wall cladding is also known in which the profile parts have mutually opposite slots into which plate-shaped elements can be inserted.
- this wall cladding is of a light construction, since the plate-shaped elements are made of plastic and the profile parts are attached to strips or directly on a wall.
- Similar cladding systems are known from DE-U-7709028 and DE-U-8523 798.
- Claddings of this type are not suitable for dynamic loads that occur, such as in the case of a larger wall area in a ship, in particular in front of a bulkhead of a seagoing ship provided with stiffening profiles, and also do not have adequate security against heat or fire.
- there is a not inconsiderable additional work involved in the assembly of this wall cladding since the profile parts are fastened to strips that have to be previously attached to the wall surface to be clad. Plastic profiles also tend to lose their strength due to increasing age-related embrittlement.
- the object of the invention is to provide a wall cladding, in particular for the cladding of fireproof material and / or stiffened ship walls or similar surfaces, which is also easy to handle and easy to assemble on board a ship under construction, in particular a seagoing ship , larger areas to be connected, especially vertical areas covering components such as metal sheets and non-flammable connecting elements.
- metal sheets of a size are used with which a man can handle, for example with an area of 0.5 x 1.25 m, and that profile parts folded from sheet metal, which have slots for inserting the metal sheets, are used , and these profile parts have lengths which are adapted to the edge lengths of the panels.
- the profile parts are partly flat - first profile parts - and partly U-shaped - second profile parts.
- the U-shaped second profile parts can be locked at right angles to one another by means of brackets and supported on the wall to be clad by means of holding elements.
- the individual components are easy to transport. They can therefore also be used safely from a position on a ship bulkhead and with relatively little effort from the people working here.
- the free leg is also longer than the other leg. This not only results in a better clamping effect, but also allows several of these flat profiles to be used directly next to one another in order to fill incisions in panels or to bridge narrow areas which occur due to wall irregularities.
- the flat profiles can be bent around their longitudinal central axis in order to achieve bends in the wall. In particular, inner and outer corners can be produced at right angles in this way.
- profiles are provided that have only one slot and have a longer leg on the other side. This leg can in a suitable manner, for. B. attached to the wall.
- the weight of the wall is essentially borne by the vertically arranged U-shaped profile parts, between which flat or U-shaped profile parts are arranged horizontally.
- a coiling rail is arranged on which the vertical U-shaped profile parts are supported.
- the coaster rail can be provided with incisions which are engaged by the vertical profiles and which indicate the basic dimension for the division in the wall.
- Profile parts and sheets are preferably made of sheet steel, which is provided with a surface treatment that protects against rust and can, for example, be galvanized and / or be provided with a plastic coating.
- the holding elements for supporting the cladding on the wall to be clad engage with a hammer head-shaped end in the U-shaped cross section of the profile parts, being held by mutually bent and inwardly angled edges of the U-profile.
- the free end of the holding elements is clamped by means of spring-like brackets to bars which were previously attached to the ship's wall to be clad, for example by means of a stud welding device, and also the insulation made of z. B. hold fireproof mineral wool.
- retaining elements are used, the free end of which itself forms the spring-bent bracket.
- the bracket has two aligned holes through which the Clamp can be pushed onto the rod in the compressed state and which is locked by clamping action after setting the desired distance on the rod.
- the holding elements At larger distances, the holding elements have straight webs.
- a separate, spring-bent clip is used, which has two aligned tongues on two tongues, on the one hand for inserting a rod and on the other for inserting the webs.
- U-shaped profiles connect to each other at an angle of 90 °, 45 ° or another angle
- suitable angle pieces are inserted between them, which engage in the U-shaped cross section of the two profiles to be connected.
- the elbows are cranked so that each clamps between a flank of the U-shaped cross section and the angled back edge.
- Fig. 1 it is shown how panels 4 are connected by flat first profile parts 2 between two U-shaped profile parts 3 and how an angled embodiment of a first profile part 2a with two slots forms a corner cladding. It is also shown how second profile parts 3, which run horizontally and vertically, are held together at right angles by S-shaped spring clips 5.
- the brackets 5 are hooked in the holes 34 of the flanks 35 of the second profile parts 3.
- the panels 4 are inserted into the slots 31 of the second profile parts 3 and the slots 11 of the first profile parts 2, 2a.
- In the board 41 there is an opening 42. B. required for the passage of cables, wires or pipes through the panel and simply cut by cutting a recess 43 in the panel 41.
- the gap created by the incision in the plate 41 is bridged with a profile part 21 which is adapted to the gap length and which was cut off from a first profile part with two slots 2.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show the cross-sectional shapes of the first flat profile parts 1, 2 with one or two slots 11 and the slot depth 12.
- the ends or legs are folded or folded at an angle to one another to enclose edges.
- FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional shape of the second, U-shaped profile parts 3.
- the slots 31, the slot depth 12, the flanks 35 with the holes 34, not shown here, lying vertically one above the other, the bent-back edges 33 and the U-shaped one are designated Cross section 32 of the profile part.
- second U-shaped profile parts 3 are connected to angle pieces 9 (in pairs).
- the angle pieces 9 are inserted into the cross section 32 of the second profile parts 3 on the flanks 35.
- Panels 4 are inserted into the slots 31 of the profile parts 3 so that they touch in front of the elbows 9.
- a connection to a wall piece 14 is demonstrated with a connecting element 13 via a first double-slot profile part 2 and a single-slot profile part 1a with an angled leg.
- FIG. 6 shows how the right-angled connection from two second, U-shaped profile parts 3a, 3b is carried out by means of clips 5.
- the brackets 5 have differently shaped, angled ends 51 and bent ends 52.
- the angled ends 51 of the brackets 5 are hidden in the holes 34b of the flanks 35b of the continuous profile part 3b on both opposite sides of the profile part 3a to be attached.
- the bent ends 52 are hooked into the holes 34a of the flanks 35a of the profile part 3a to be attached.
- the brackets 5 fix the profile connection in three planes, with the spring action in the two longitudinal directions Profiles to meet the requirements of a slight compliance.
- the first holding element 6 shown in FIG. 7 consists of the bent clamp 62 and locks the rod 8 to be fastened to a wall.
- the rod 8 is guided in bores in the flanks 63, 64 of the clamp 62 and by the resilient bending of the clamp 62 braced against slipping.
- One end 61 of the clamp 62 is designed like a hammer head so that this end 61 can be inserted into the space 32 of the second profile parts 3 enclosed by the U-shaped cross section.
- a second holding element 7 It consists of a resilient bracket 72 and locks the rod 8 and the web 73 guided in the flanks 74, 75 of the bracket 72.
- the flanks 74, 75 of the bracket 73 are each broken through in the middle, so that each flank is two independently of the other tongues 74a, 74b and 75a, 75b to be moved.
- the rod 8 is guided in bores of the respectively opposite tongues 74a, 75a and the web 73 in slots of the opposite tongues 74b, 75b. Due to the arcuate design of the clamp 72 and the tongues which can be moved independently of one another on a flank, the rod 8 and the web 73 can be braced independently of one another. With its hammer-head-like end 71 formed on one side, the web 73 is introduced into the space 32 of the second profiles 3 which is enclosed in the U-shaped cross section.
- the common constructive principle (Fig. 9) of the profile parts 1, 2, 3 is that starting from one Front surface 22 is folded over at least one side of the sheet by 180 °, the surface part 23 thus formed gives the outer surface of the slot 11, 31, and that near the center of the front surface 22, the sheet is again bent through 180 °, whereby a flat part 24 arises that forms the inner surface of the slot.
- the part 24 is adjoined by an extension which projects beyond the front surface 22 and which corresponds approximately to the depth 12 of the slot (see FIGS. 2 and 3).
- Flat profiles to be used at corners, e.g. B. 1a and 2a are kinked in the middle of the front surface 22 (see FIGS. 1 and 5).
- the flanks 35 adjoin the surface parts 24 at a right angle (see FIG. 4).
- the width 25 of the slot 11, 31 is chosen so that the panels 4 can still be pushed in by hand, but are firmly clamped in the built-up wall.
- the thickness of the material for both the sheets and for the profile parts is the same and is preferably 1 mm.
- the wall cladding according to the invention can also advantageously be used on facades and other areas on and in buildings.

Description

Fig. 2 und 3) entspricht. Fig. 1 und 5). Fig. 4).
