- the invention has the purpose to save the resins, by passing water through them only when the water to be used must be sufficiently heated.
- the passage of water in the resins can be anticipated at the end of the cycle preceding those during which water is heated, so as to bring the resins into activity and win their initial idleness: in this way they will be active at the beginning of the passage of the water to be heated.

In this way, the difference of effect of the water passage through the resins, in the case of entry of water through lower inlet 18 or through upper inlet 16, is even more remarkable.
- a preferred solution in this case may foresee that the section of the by-pass pipe is of such a diameter that it grants a water flow higher than the pipe passing through the resins.
- a simple stop electric valve, arranged in the by-pass path which conveys water directly in the tank will be sufficient to convey all the arriving water to the resins vessel (electric valve closed) in the case of hot washings and will be also able to convey the water to the tank (electric valve open), when necessary, because of the larger diameter of the by-pass pipe.
