Es werden also genau die gewünschten Höhenverhältnisse erreicht: Beim stabilen Stand des Bettes ist dieses relativ hoch, sodaß die Patienten vom Pflegepersonal einfach gepflegt werden können. Beim Rollen liegt das Bett tiefer, sodaß es einfach manövriert werden kann. Trägerstützen und Fußstützen sind ineinander geführt, die Rollen sind also geschützt und abgesichert in der Fußstütze untergebracht. Hierdurch wird das Aussehen des Bettes verbessert. Weiterhin werden die Rollen vor äußeren Einflüssen und insbesondere vor Verschmutzungen geschützt.
