Description

The invention relates to a ceiling element for a fire protection false ceiling, which contains flame-retardant or non-combustible material according to DIN 4102, in particular mineral fiber material in plate form.

Ceiling elements of the type mentioned have been known for a long time and are used for the production of false ceilings which separate a ceiling cavity and the living area from each other in terms of fire. The known, plate-shaped ceiling elements are not self-supporting and are placed on the wall side on fireproof strips with rectangular or angular cross-section. In addition, the known, plate-shaped ceiling elements are supported with the aid of supports which each extend from wall to wall. These beams are preferably profiled in such a way that two adjacent ceiling elements can each be supported on a beam. When installing such a fire protection false ceiling, ceiling elements and beams are always laid together, this being done in a continuous sequence until the entire false ceiling is closed. Problems arise when such non-self-supporting ceiling elements are used when the ceiling cavity is to be made accessible again later. Disassembly and subsequent closing of the ceiling cavity are difficult and usually involve damage to the ceiling elements.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a self-supporting, easy-to-install and easily removable and re-assemble ceiling element for a fire protection false ceiling which can withstand both a fire attack from above and a fire attack from below as an independent fire protection unit according to DIN 4102 and has good fire protection values.

To achieve this object, the invention provides that at least two plates made of the flame-retardant or non-combustible material are provided and at least one reinforcing insert which is tubular in cross section is embedded.

Due to the use of at least two panels, the ceiling element has a sandwich construction, which naturally has a higher inherent rigidity than single-shell elements. The additional use of reinforcing tubular inserts increases its strength to such an extent that it is inherently stable and self-supporting and the use of separately installable supports can be completely dispensed with. The ceiling element therefore extends from wall to wall when installed in a hallway or when laying on support profiles from profile to profile and only lies with its ends on wall strips of rectangular or angular cross section on or on legs or support flanges of the support profiles .

The ceiling element preferably consists of four plate-shaped, interwoven layers of mineral fiber. In this case it is further provided that two tubes are expediently arranged as a reinforcing insert between large-area outer plates and strip-shaped inner plates and strip-shaped edge plates. This ceiling element is also self-supporting, has high inherent rigidity and good fire resistance values. This is also the case if the strip-shaped inner plates are made of a different material, e.g. from a foamed plastic or from mineral fiber or rock wool.

A ceiling element 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 for a fire protection false ceiling comprises at least two plates 2 and 3 made of a flame-retardant or non-combustible material and at least one reinforcing insert 4 or 5 with a cross-section. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 there are two Pipes 4, 5 are provided as reinforcing insert and are arranged at a distance from one another and at a distance from the top 6, the bottom 7 and the parallel edges 8, 9 of the ceiling element 1. The two tubes 4, 5 are located between two large-area, outer plates 2, 3 and strip-shaped inner plates 10 and 11 or strip-shaped edge plates 12, 13.

Both the outer plates 2 and 3 as well as the inner plates 10 and 11 and the strip-shaped edge plates 12 and 13 advantageously have the same material thickness and are only cut to the required width. However, these dimensions are not absolutely necessary. The height of the tubular reinforcement inserts 4 and 5 is preferably equal to twice the material thickness of the plates. Other dimensions can also be selected here.

The reinforcing inserts 4, 5 preferably have a rectangular or square cross section and are embedded in a form-fitting manner in the plates 2, 3 and 10, 11 and 12, 13. Furthermore, all of the plates are glued together with the tubular reinforcement inserts 4, 5 with the aid of inorganic adhesive, preferably based on silicate, and thereby result in a unit which is stable in itself.

The lateral edges 8, 9 of the ceiling element 1 are preferably flat. They are cut with sharp edges and exactly at an angle of 90 °. The ceiling elements 1 can therefore be laid flush against each other.

In order to achieve a good seal at the edges 8, 9 to an even greater extent, the two lateral edge areas 14, 15 of the ceiling element 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 can each have a recess 16 with an L-shaped cross section, in each of which there is one when the temperature rises, their volume increasing fire protection compound, for example in the form of an L-shaped fire protection strip 17 in cross section. With one leg 18 each, the L-shaped fire protection strips 17 reach parallel to the plates into the interior of the edges 8, 9 or the edge regions 14, 15, while their other legs 19 abut one another and thus the two engage with theirs Seal edges 8, 9 touching ceiling elements 1 in the event of a fire and thereby prevent a temperature passage to a high degree.

Instead of two L-shaped fire protection strips, a single fire protection strip 17-17 with a T-shaped cross section can also be used, which also has legs 18 like that has two L-shaped fire protection strips 17 in cross section, but in which the two legs 19 are combined to form a single web.

Finally, it is also possible to insert a flat strip as a fire protection strip into the recess 16 or into a modified recess in order to achieve a high seal in the event of a fire.

The two Figures 3 and 4 show a further, modified embodiment of ceiling elements 21 and 22. These two ceiling elements also consist of outer plates 2 and 3 and inner plates 10, 11 and edge plates 12 and 13, between which the tubular reinforcement inserts 4, 5 are arranged are. An essential difference from the ceiling element according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is that the two ceiling elements 21 and 22 are laid overlapping and, in addition, a fold 27, 28 or heel or step on their longitudinal edges 23 and 24 or 25 and 26 exhibit. This prevents the formation of a parting line 20 according to FIG. 2, with the result that the possible use of fire protection compound in the form of fire protection strips or strips or flat strips which increases their volume when the temperature rises is not necessary, as in the second exemplary embodiment. Due to the fold 27 and 28, the two ceiling elements 21, 22 engage positively on their longitudinal edges and also prevent the passage of heat or flames in the event of a fire.

21, 22.The support and fastening of the front flat ceiling elements 1 and 21, 22 in the region of a wall 30 is carried out according to FIG. 5 with the aid of a load-bearing, fire-resistant, L-shaped cross-section ledge 31, which with its one leg 32 is the ceiling element 1, 21 or 22. On top of the ceiling element 1, 21, 22 there is a e.g. Protective strips 33 made of mineral fibers are arranged and prevent the passage of heat or flames between wall 30 and ceiling element 1 or 21, 22.

21, 22. Auf der Oberseite des Deckenelementes ist wiederum ein Schutzstreifen 33 wie bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 5 vorgesehen.6, a fire-resistant fire protection strip 34, which is screwed onto the wall 30 and is largely rectangular in cross section, serves as a support for the ceiling element 1 or 21, 22. On the top of the ceiling element there is again a protective strip 33 as in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 intended.

According to FIG. 7, a fire protection strip 34 also supports the ceiling element (s) 1, 21, 22 and a strip 35 made of rock wool, which is rectangular in cross section, seals the ceiling elements 1, 21, 22 on their upper side towards the wall 30.

28 vorgesehen. In order to achieve a perfect connection to the wall 30, it goes without saying that the ceiling elements 21, 22 having a fold 27 or 28 have a smooth, flat edge 37 on the wall side. No fold 27 or 28 is therefore provided on the wall side.

According to FIG. 8, an angle strip 31 serves as a support for the ceiling element or elements 1, 21, 22 and a strip 35 of stone wool with a rectangular cross section seals the ceiling elements 1, 21, 22 on their upper side towards the wall 30.

Tragflanschen 41 seitlich aufliegenden Deckenelementen 1, 21 bzw. 22.Finally, FIG. 9 shows a support profile 40 with two ceiling elements 1, 21 and 22 lying laterally on legs or supporting flanges 41.

22.In order to achieve the same good insulation and fire protection as the ceiling elements 1, 21 and 22, the carrier profile 40 has a plate-shaped strip 42 on the bottom made of a flame-retardant and / or fire-resistant, non-combustible material which is also suitable for the plates 2, 3 of the ceiling elements 1, 21 and 22 is used. In addition, mineral wool or rock wool 43 is arranged in such a high stratification above the plate-shaped strip 42 that the same level of protection is achieved as with the ceiling elements 1, 21 and 22.

Several hangers 44 are used for the direct attachment of the box-shaped support profile 40 to a ceiling.
