Claims (8)

  1. Moulded cylinder head cover for an internal combustion engine and of the type comprising an air filter (F) connected to the intake system of the engine and a settling chamber (18) which communicates on the one hand with the crankcase of the engine and on the other hand with the intake system, so as to suck up the gases of the crankcase separated from the oil particules, the air filter and the settling chamber (18) being integrated through casting into the cylinder head cover, of the said through settling chamber being located laterally of the air filter (F) and comprising at least two extensions (21, 22) integrated through casting and permitting to connect it to the crankcase and to the intake system with the assistance of two communication ducts (D1, D2), characterized in that the settling chamber comprises a cylindrical settling well (19) the lower end of which opens into the cylinder head and the upper end opens outside of the cylinder head cover, in that the well is integrated through moulding into the cylinder head cover and extends concentrically from bottom to top in the central part of the settling chamber (18), thus forming an oil filling pipe.
  2. Cylinder head cover according to claim 1,
    characterized in that the aforesaid air filter (F) comprises a chamber (5) integrated through casting into the cylinder head cover and adapted to receive a filtering cartridge (6), the said chamber (5) being extended by a chamber (2) for mixing fresh air and hot air and also integrated through moulding into the cylinder head cover.
  3. Cylinder head cover according to claim 2,
    characterized in that the aforesaid air filter (F) moreover comprises a hood-like part (7) removably secured to the cylinder head cover so as to give access to the filtering cartridge (6) and comprising a nipple (14) for connection to the intake system, into which opens a duct (15) provided in the hood-like part (7) and in communication with the settling chamber (18) so as to draw up the gases.
  4. Cylinder head cover according to claim 3,
    characterized in that the aforesaid chamber (5) and hood (7) are disposed laterally of the settling chamber.
  5. Cylinder head cover according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises external ribs (23) forming grooves integrally cast with the cylinder head cover and adapted to the fastening of electric wires for ignition plugs of the engine.
  6. Cylinder head cover according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it is fastened to the upper portions of the caps of bearings of at least one camshaft of the engine.
  7. Cylinder head cover according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it is made from a plastics material.
  8. Automotive vehicle with an internal combustion engine, characterized in that the said engine is fitted with a cylinder head cover such as defined in claims 1 to 7.
