Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cutting device with at least two cutting elements, in particular for the nose cutting of split beaver bricks.
- so-called extruded roof tiles are produced by an extrusion press as a flat, continuously emerging strand, the so-called split beaver tiles having at least one so-called nose, which serves to hold the tile to the roof structure.
- the roof tiles are degenerate in one dimension. They therefore form flat elements that can be treated practically as two-dimensional structures. Treating them involves a significant number of disadvantages, since they cannot be manufactured in the same way as the three-dimensional bricks.
- a press strand shaped in this way is then cut transversely in the usual way and the resulting physical structures with the two interconnected split beaver brick blanks are treated like normal brick blanks.
- care must be taken to ensure that the facing nose strands apart from the remaining retaining lugs must be removed from the underside of the tile, as has become known in the past for the manufacture of individual roof tiles.
- Cutting devices are known for the partial removal of such nasal strands, but they do not take into account the following points: If the cutting device is arranged on the mouthpiece of the extrusion press itself, monitoring the activity of the cutting device is practically impossible. For example, it cannot be checked whether the noses are notched exactly.
- DE-C-34 65 55 discloses a cutting device for the nose cutting of split beaver brick moldings, which has two wire-shaped cutting elements each attached to a carrier.
- the two supports are operatively connected to a common fixed drive by means of levers coupled in the manner of a square joint.
- the two cutting elements which are synchronized with respect to movement, are used alternately on the nose of a simple split beaver tile molding, which ensures that the cutting device works absolutely uniformly and precisely.
- this cutting device cannot simply be used for the nose cutting of split beaver brick mold pairs, since its basic structure with the two cutting elements used one after the other would have to be too voluminous and too complicated for the mold pairs that are common today.
- the present invention aims to provide a cutting device which, with two cutting elements, is not able to cut only one nose of a split beaver brick molding as before, but at the same time the two lugs of pairs of split beaver brick moldings common today.
- Such a cutting device is characterized by the wording of claim 1.
- Fig. 1 shows the front view of a double roof tile 1, which is known to be cross-cut into known tile blanks by known cutting devices.
- the sides of such a brick blank are formed by two split beaver bricks 2 and 3 with their base areas opposite one another, the narrow broad sides 5 and 6 of which can be seen.
- the two bricks 2 and 3 are connected by connecting webs 8.
- notches 9 are provided which, after firing, enable the split beaver bricks 2 and 3 to be separated from the webs 8.
- they are usually provided with one or two noses.
- these lugs extending from the broad side end toward the front rounding side are formed in the sense that the nose strands 11 and 12, which extend over the entire length of the brick, apart from the remaining lugs, are separated from the underside of the brick blank.
- Each of the two cutting devices 14 and 15 is designed as a double cutting device, since each of them cuts through one of the two nose strands 11 and 12 and must disconnect.
- Fig. 1 the left and right cutting fork is open in dashed lines, i.e. visible in the cutting position, while it appears with a full line in the closed position 18.
- the cutting forks are actuated by means of a drive 20 or 21, which drives are normally designed as pneumatically actuated cylinder / piston units.
- Fig. 2 the cutting device is shown in side view.
- One cutting fork 25 with a cutting wire 26 can be seen, which is clamped in two wire holders 27.
- the two cutting forks 25 are driven on the one hand by a hollow shaft 29 on which the one cutting fork 25 and on the other hand an inner shaft 30 with a head 31 to which the other cutting fork 25 is fastened by means of a weld 32 each.
- the inner shaft 30 inserted in the hollow shaft 29 and the hollow shaft 29 itself are mounted as a unit in a swivel shaft bearing 33.
- the two shafts 29 and 30 are swiveled in opposite directions by means of a swivel linkage quadrilateral 37 which swivels the cutting forks with respect to a longitudinal displacement axis 38 in the sense of FIG. 3 into their open position or according to FIG. 5 into their closed position, as shown in FIG. 4 and 6.
- the individual levers of the swivel linkage quadrilateral 37 are connected to one another via ball joints 39.
- the pivot axis of the two shafts 29 and 30 is designated 40.
- the swivel linkage quadrilateral is over a yoke 41 37 connected to a piston rod 44 of a piston in a pneumatic cylinder 43, the cutting device being in its cutting position according to FIG.
- the cutting wires 26 of the cutting forks 25 separate the nose strands 11 and 12 in the longitudinal direction from the brick blank until the control acts on the pneumatic cylinder 43 and its piston with the piston rod at the intended moment 44 pulls into the position shown in FIG. 5, whereby the cutting device is pivoted out of its cutting position by pivoting the cutting forks 25 towards one another in order to leave the remaining remainder of the nose strands 11 and 12 as noses 48, 49.
- the pivoting movement simultaneously cuts the noseband 11 and 12 transversely.
- the parts of the nose strands 11 and 12 cut through by the inner surface of the bricks 2 and 3 fall off and are collected, for example in a container.
- the bricks continue to move on their path.
- the described drive of the cutting forks is very simple, since they are moved into a closed or open position by an opposite movement of the shafts 29 and 30.
- the cutting device is otherwise, in contrast to the reciprocating Strand cutters, provided as a fixed part, so that the difficulties encountered when moving such machining parts are avoided.
- the cutting forks 25 with the cutting wires 26 can be preceded by a guide wedge, which secures the corresponding distances and thus ensures that the separation of the nose strands 11 and 12 on the rear surfaces of the Brick is made and not over or in this.
- all moving parts can be adjusted, including the fork opening of the cutting forks 25, in that the pivoting position of the shaft 29 relative to the clamping heads 46 of the corresponding pivoting tabs of the pivoting linkage rectangle 37 is adjusted relative to one another.
- the lifting height or length of the piston rod 44 can also be changed in the retracted and extended state, and the relative position of the two cutting forks 25 relative to one another.
- the cutting device described herewith enables the production of the hanging lugs in double-strand roof tiles in a simple and safe manner.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cutting device with at least two cutting elements, in particular for the nose cutting of split beaver bricks.
It is known that so-called extruded roof tiles are produced by an extrusion press as a flat, continuously emerging strand, the so-called split beaver tiles having at least one so-called nose, which serves to hold the tile to the roof structure.
In contrast to the normal, extremely three-dimensional shape of tiles, the roof tiles are degenerate in one dimension. They therefore form flat elements that can be treated practically as two-dimensional structures. Treating them involves a significant number of disadvantages, since they cannot be manufactured in the same way as the three-dimensional bricks.
It has now become known to produce three-dimensional structures at the outlet of the extrusion press, even in roof tile production, in that the mouthpiece of the extrusion press is designed in such a way that the two side walls of the three-dimensional body appear as split beaver tiles facing one another with their undersides. These bricks have opposite nasal strands. They are connected to each other by several crossbars.
A press strand shaped in this way is then cut transversely in the usual way and the resulting physical structures with the two interconnected split beaver brick blanks are treated like normal brick blanks. However, care must be taken to ensure that the facing nose strands apart from the remaining retaining lugs must be removed from the underside of the tile, as has become known in the past for the manufacture of individual roof tiles.
Cutting devices are known for the partial removal of such nasal strands, but they do not take into account the following points: If the cutting device is arranged on the mouthpiece of the extrusion press itself, monitoring the activity of the cutting device is practically impossible. For example, it cannot be checked whether the noses are notched exactly.
It is also known to connect the opposite nasal strands by means of a connecting web, which can lead to difficulties when the nasal strand is cut off over part of its length, but in particular when the structure is broken apart to maintain the two bricks.
It is also difficult to remove the waste of the noses immediately, so that they are burned and dried unnecessarily.
Die beiden bezüglich Bewegung synchronisierten Schneidelemente kommen abwechslungsweise an der Nase eines einfachen Spaltbiberziegel-Formlings zum Einsatz, wodurch ein unbedingt gleichmässiges und genaues Arbeiten der Schneidvorrichtung gesichert wird.DE-C-34 65 55 discloses a cutting device for the nose cutting of split beaver brick moldings, which has two wire-shaped cutting elements each attached to a carrier. The two supports are operatively connected to a common fixed drive by means of levers coupled in the manner of a square joint. The two cutting elements, which are synchronized with respect to movement, are used alternately on the nose of a simple split beaver tile molding, which ensures that the cutting device works absolutely uniformly and precisely.
As a complicated construction, this cutting device cannot simply be used for the nose cutting of split beaver brick mold pairs, since its basic structure with the two cutting elements used one after the other would have to be too voluminous and too complicated for the mold pairs that are common today.
The present invention aims to provide a cutting device which, with two cutting elements, is not able to cut only one nose of a split beaver brick molding as before, but at the same time the two lugs of pairs of split beaver brick moldings common today.
Such a cutting device is characterized by the wording of claim 1.
The invention is subsequently explained, for example, using a drawing.

Fig. 1 shows the front view of a double roof tile 1, which is known to be cross-cut into known tile blanks by known cutting devices. The sides of such a brick blank are formed by two
In Fig. 1, the left and right cutting fork is open in dashed lines, i.e. visible in the cutting position, while it appears with a full line in the closed
The cutting forks are actuated by means of a
In Fig. 2 the cutting device is shown in side view. One
It is possible, for example, to optically monitor the presence of the remaining noses after the corresponding parts of the
The described drive of the cutting forks is very simple, since they are moved into a closed or open position by an opposite movement of the
Since the roof tile double strand 1 is softly deformable after exiting the extruder, the cutting
It is fundamentally possible to use the cutting
Of course, all moving parts can be adjusted, including the fork opening of the cutting
The cutting device described herewith enables the production of the hanging lugs in double-strand roof tiles in a simple and safe manner.
