Abstract

The invention relates to a carrying belt arrangement for a vacuum cleaner. The carrying belt is integrated directly into a hand grip at the end of the vacuum cleaner hose. The carrying belt arrangement of the invention defines a storage compartment in which the carrying belt is wound while at the same time defining a hand grip. The carrying belt arrangement includes first and second parts of which the first part is stationary. The second part is rotatably mounted on the first part and includes the drum on which the carrying belt is wound. The first part includes a cover which extends over the drum and includes a slot through which the carrying belt passes. The drum and cover conjointly define the storage compartment for the carrying belt.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tragegurtanordnung für Staubsauger. The invention relates to a shoulder strap arrangement for vacuum cleaners.

Carrying straps for vacuum cleaners are always needed when, for example, the user of a so-called hand-held vacuum cleaner or stick vacuum cleaner wants to do work that requires the use of a suction hose. Since so-called hand or stick vacuum cleaners are normally carried by a nozzle on the floor, when using a suction hose it would be necessary to carry the so-called hand or stick vacuum cleaner in your free hand and manipulate the suction hose with the other hand. Since this is very tiring, you use carrying straps with which you can hang the vacuum cleaner "over your shoulder". This makes it easier to carry the weight and both hands are free to work.
Such a shoulder strap is an additional part, which is not used very often and can therefore be quickly installed so that it cannot be found when the opportunity arises. Therefore, it has gone over to arrange this load on the vacuum cleaner so that it is always there. This is shown, for example, by DE-U-82 24 611.
Here a handle is attached to the motor head of the handheld vacuum cleaner, which is detachably connected to the motor head. This handle has a hollow handle part, in which a strap is arranged. The handle part is closed by a flap. If this is opened, the shoulder strap can be removed, and after use, it is stowed again in the handle section by means of loops and the flap is closed.

Although the handle and the shoulder strap are combined in one unit, the handle is a separate part, which has to be removed for "normal suction". However, since the suction hose and the carrying belt must be used for every work above about waist height, two separate parts are again available.

The object of the invention is now to combine these two parts so that they can be used in a simple manner.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
Further configurations can be found in the subclaims.

An exemplary embodiment of the invention is drawn and described below.

It shows:
  • 1: a schematic representation of the work with a so-called hand vacuum cleaner with the aid of a carrying strap,
  • Fig. 2: a suction hose with integrated shoulder strap arranged at one end.

Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of working with a so-called hand or stick vacuum cleaner (1) when work is done that make the use of a suction hose (2) necessary. For this purpose, the actual handle, which is shown in dashed lines, is removed and a suction hose (2) is connected to the suction connection (3). In the handle (4) of the suction hose (2) there is a shoulder strap (5) which is attached to the motor head (6). So it is possible to carry the hand or stick vacuum cleaner (1) "over the shoulder" and with the help of the suction hose (2) above the floor surface, yes in To work at head height and above head height. For this purpose, a suction nozzle (8) is plugged onto the handle (7) of the suction hose (2).

Fig. 2 zeigt den Saugschlauch (2) in detaillierter Darstellung.
Fig. 2 shows the suction hose (2) in a detailed representation. It consists of the actual hose part (9), which is provided with handles (4) and (7) on both sides. The handle (7) is used to connect suction nozzles and the handle (4) is connected to the suction connection of the respective vacuum cleaner (see Fig. 1). The handle (4) has a storage drum (10) on which the carrying strap (5) is wound. This storage drum (10) is provided with a tubular sleeve-like extension (11) which is rotatably mounted on the end (12) and thus also forms the handle (4). In addition, the storage drum (10) is overlapped by a cover (13) which is firmly connected to the end (12). This cover (13) has an outlet slot (14) through which the carrying strap (5) is guided to the outside. The handle (4) is now attached to the suction port of a vacuum cleaner, and the carrying strap (5) can be removed from the storage drum (10). It is attached to the other end of the motor head (6) using the hook (15) (see Fig. 1).
If the carrying strap (5) is no longer required, it is rolled up again on the storage drum (10) by turning the handle (4), which is formed by the tubular sleeve-like extension (11). It is therefore possible to always have the carrying strap (5) immediately available when using a suction hose (2).
