Abstract

The present invention concerns a shelving device, essentially constituted by uprights, assembled with each other and supporting, by means of fixing elements, shelves and/or platforms. The device is characterised in that the uprights (1) are in the form of rectangular open tubes which are identical and provided with a longitudinal slot, perforations (3) and orifices allowing, on the one hand, the assembly of the uprights (1) with each other as ladders or as support panels depending on the choice of the user, by means of various linking elements and, on the other hand, the mixing of various attachment elements (14) and panel support elements (16) on a same shelving unit and/or on a same upright (1) and/or for the fitting of a same panel (16) while retaining the same assembly and fitting dimensions of shelving units whatever attachment (14) and panel support (16) elements are used. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to the storage and archiving of objects and documents, and has for its object a shelving device, essentially constituted by uprights, assembled together and supporting, by means of fixing elements, shelves and / or walkways.

Such shelving devices are currently known in various embodiments, described below.

The existing shelving uprights are either in the form of profiled or folded uprights, or in the form of profiled or folded sheet metal panels. In the first case, the uprights are interconnected, depending on their type, by bolted, clipped or welded crosspieces, or even by solid sheets, and support either shelves tangent to the uprights, thus presenting an empty space between two shelves consecutive equal to the thickness of the upright, or cut shelves, and therefore contiguous, then having a rim at the uprights, hindering the extraction of the stored objects and the shelves themselves:

The use of known sheet metal panels also causes, although the consecutive shelves are contiguous, many drawbacks, namely, in the case of shelves arranged on either side of the same panel, a doubling of the load on the perforations and a reduction in the possibilities of independent adjustment of the shelves and, in the case of heavy loads, the need to add an additional structure to the panel or to increase the thickness of the sheet used.

There are also different devices for fixing shelves and walkways developed below.

The use of stamped tabs, protruding from the upright, may injure the user and damage the stored objects and makes it difficult to place the shelves.

Bolting the shelves to the uprights or panels results in too high labor costs and prevents the fixing device from being reliable in itself, since the quality of the fixing depends on the tightening force of the nuts.

The cleats and cleats supporting the shelves existing in the known state of the art, require for their implementation perforations specifically adapted to their shapes, hence the exclusive use of a single type of cleats or cleats on a same shelving unit.

The different shelves fixing devices as well as the different types of shelving uprights, are therefore absolutely not compatible with each other, and, therefore, cannot be implemented simultaneously on the same shelving device.

The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.

It indeed relates to a shelving device, essentially constituted by uprights, assembled together and supporting, by means of fastening elements, shelves and / or walkways, device characterized in that the uprights are in the form identical open rectangular tubes, provided with a longitudinal slit, perforations and orifices, allowing, on the one hand, the assembly of the uprights together, in ladders or in load-bearing panels according to the user's choice, thanks to various connecting elements and, on the other hand, the mix of different hooking and shelf support elements on the same shelving unit and / or on the same upright and / or for mounting the same shelf while keeping the same assembly and mounting dimensions of the shelving units whatever the attachment element and shelf support used.

According to the invention, the shelving device is characterized in that the uprights 1 are in the form of identical open rectangular tubes, provided with a longitudinal slot 2, perforations 3 and orifices 4, 5, allowing, d on the one hand, the assembly of the uprights 1 between them, in ladders 11 or in load-bearing panels 12 according to the user's choice, thanks to various connecting elements 6 to 10 and, on the other hand, the mix of different elements 13, 14, 15 for hanging and supporting shelves 16 on the same shelving unit 17 and / or on the same upright 1 and / or for mounting the same shelf 16 while keeping the same assembly dimensions and mounting shelving units 17 regardless of the element 13, 14, 15 for hanging and shelf support 16 used.

Each shelving unit 17 is constituted by two ladders 11 or by two load-bearing panels 12, or also by a ladder 11 and by a load-bearing panel 12, interconnected by at least one shelf 16.

In order to be able to carry out the different construction and configuration variants of the ladders 11 and of the load-bearing panels 12 and to implement the various elements 13, 14, 15 for hooking and supporting the shelves 16 indifferently, the upright 1 comprises, as shown in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings, on the one hand, on two opposite load-bearing faces 18, 18 ′ of the rectangular perforations 3 regularly spaced apart, on the other hand, an open face 19 provided with orifices 4 also rectangular, integrated into the longitudinal slot 2 and regularly arranged along the latter, and, possibly, on the remaining face 20 opposite the open face 19, orifices 5 intended in particular for the insertion of bayonet nuts 50.

When shelves 16 are arranged on either side of the same ladder 11 or of the same support panel 12, it is therefore possible to independently adjust the levels of the shelves 16 on either side of the 'ladder 11 or of the carrier panel 12. In addition, the shelves 16 are supported on two independent carrying surfaces 18 and 18 ′, which makes it possible to have significant loads on either side of the same ladder 11 or the same carrier panel 12 and this also in the case where the shelves 16 are arranged at the same level.

In addition, the uprights 1, only provided with orifices 4, 5 and perforations 3, have no projecting part, or any sharp angle, likely to damage or injure.

According to a characteristic of the invention, shown in Figures 2 to 5 of the accompanying drawings, the connecting elements 6 and 7 for assembling the uprights 1 to each other in ladders 11 are in the form of hollow rectangular tubes 6 or crosspieces in profiled sheet 7, embedded in the uprights 1 respectively at their rectangular orifices 4 and at their longitudinal slot 2, the assembly of said uprights 1 in support panels 12 being produced, either by fixing, in the longitudinal slot 2 , of a full thin sheet 8, either by the additional addition on the scales 11 of mesh 9 or of thin filling sheets 10 between two uprights 1 already connected.

By using the same upright 1, the user can therefore produce different types of load-bearing elements, namely, ladders 11 with hollow tubes 6 and / or with profiled sheet sleepers 7, solid load-bearing panels 12 having either a sheet metal wall median, that is a sheet metal wall tangent to the uprights 1 and, also, carrier panels 12 meshed, by the additional fixing, on a scale 11, mesh 9.

The assembly of the uprights 1 with connecting elements 6 to 10 can be carried out in a variety of ways such as, in particular, by welding, riveting, screwing, clipping, etc.

In the particular case of the carrier panels 12 mesh, and as shown more particularly in Figure 4 of the accompanying drawings, the mesh 9 are fixed to the uprights 1 by means of removable retention flanges 21, comprising at least two hooks 22, 22 ′ integral between them and extended by a transverse guide piece 23, said retention flange 21 thus being able, once put in place, to slide in the longitudinal slot 2 while being held there by the transverse guide piece 23.

The retention flange 21 can advantageously be a profile element, the wall of said profile having a thickness less than the width of the longitudinal slot 2 and the transverse guide piece 23 being of dimensions smaller than that of the rectangular orifices 4, of so that it can be easily inserted and slide freely in the upright 1. In addition, the distance between two consecutive hooks is advantageously equal to the pitch or a multiple of the pitch of the vertical mesh of the mesh 9.

Such a carrier panel 12 mesh allows, on the one hand, the user to have an immediate overview of the objects stored, and, on the other hand, ensures good ventilation.

In accordance with a characteristic of the invention, shown in FIGS. 5 and 7 of the appended drawings, the shelves 16 comprise a support surface 24 delimited, on the one hand, by two longitudinal reinforcing edges 25 folded over and, on the other hand, by two lateral flanges 26 for hooking to the uprights 1, each provided with two recesses 27 allowing the fixa tion of the shelves 16 to the uprights 1 of the ladders 11 or of the load-bearing panels 12 by means of various hooking and support elements 13 to 15. Thus, the length of the shelves 16 fixes the span of the shelving units 17 and their length determines the spacing of the uprights 1 of the ladders 11 and of the load-bearing panels 12. In addition to their role of load-bearing elements and object supports, the shelves 16 also contribute to the structural rigidity of the shelving units 17 by connecting the ladders 11 and / or the load-bearing panels 12 between them. They can also be provided with ventilation slots 53 punched in their carrying surface 24.

The structure of the shelving units 17 can, in addition, be substantially reinforced by joining the ladders 11 and / or the load-bearing panels 12 to one another, by means of cross-pieces 51, grids or bottom sheets, fixed to the rear uprights 1 at their orifices 5, in particular by means of bayonet nuts 50 and corresponding screws. The latter also make it possible to assemble the shelving units 17 juxtaposed by their adjacent uprights 1.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the hooking and support elements 13 to 15 of the shelves 16 are, advantageously, either cleats 14, or cleats 15 or else nut-cage assemblies 13 - screws, using the same rectangular perforations 3 of the carrying faces 18, 18 ′ of the uprights 1 and perfectly interchangeable and compatible with each other. The cage nut 13 also makes it possible to have various accessories on the front uprights 1, such as, in particular, plinths, trim parts, hinges for leaves, front and rear stops, bands, etc.

As shown in Figures 6 and 7 of the accompanying drawings, each cleat 14 has two wings of reinforcement 28, 28 ′ longitudinal, a central tongue 31 stamped and folded, and, at each end, a hooking appendage 29, 29 ′ provided with mounting tabs 30, 30 ′, also stamped and folded. The cleats 14 are hooked to the uprights 1, therefore, by inserting the mounting tabs 30, 30 ′ in two consecutive perforations 3 of each upright 1.

In accordance with a characteristic of the invention, and as shown more particularly in FIG. 6 of the appended drawings, the cleats 14 further comprise folds 32, 32 ′, 32˝ producing recesses at the level of the central tongue 31 and attachment appendages 29, 29 ′ allowing, on the one hand, the attachment of the shelves 16 by insertion of their lateral edges 26 between the body of the cleat 14 and the central tongue 31 and the attachment appendages 29, 29 ′ and, on the other hand, the support of said shelves 16 on the cleats 14 both at the level of the folding 32 of their central tongue 31, at the level of the upper embedding tongue 30 and at the level of the upper part folded 33 of the attachment appendages 29, 29 ′, the shelf 16 then being in direct contact with the uprights 1 and its supporting surface 24 situated at the same height as the upper reinforcement wing 28 of the cleat 14. The shelf 16 is therefore t mounted on the cleat 14 in the immediate vicinity of its connection with the uprights 1, which results in a minimum overhang and the absence of additional thickness, the cleat 14 not being inserted directly between the shelf 16 and the uprights 1. In addition, during the positioning of the shelves 16 on the cleats 14, the upper mounting tabs 30 engage in the recesses 27 of the lateral hooking edges 26 and thus position the shelves 16 in depth. . In addition, the cleat 14 mounts as well on the Ladders 11, only on the carrier panels 12 with mesh or with central sheet and can, moreover, be used as a ladder cross member 11 in replacement of a cross member of profiled sheet metal 7 or a hollow tube 6. Furthermore, the cleat 14 fills, by means of its upper reinforcement wing 28, the empty space existing between the two uprights 1 of a ladder 11 or of a carrier panel 12 meshed or with central plate and thus extends the carrier surface 24 of the shelves 16 between the uprights 1.

In order to be able to dispose of heavy loads on the shelves 16, without these deforming and yielding under the weight of said loads, the central tongue 31 of the cleat 14 comprises, in accordance with a characteristic of the invention, a fin of support 34 folded, provided with a boss 35, allowing the establishment and maintenance of a reinforcing profile 36 of the removable shelf 16, which extends under the shelf 16 over its entire length.

In accordance with Figures 8 and 9 of the accompanying drawings, each cleat 15 is advantageously a double cleat, comprising a segment of U-shaped profile 37 extended by two retention appendages 38, 38 ′, inserted in the uprights 1, during installation cleats 15, at their rectangular perforations 3, said cleats 15 ensuring the fixing of the shelves 16 on the uprights 1 with a minimum overhang, without creating any additional thickness, and being invisible after the mounting of the shelves 16, the retention appendages 38, 38 ′ located inside the corresponding upright 1 and the U-shaped profile segments 37 being hidden by the lateral edges 26 of the shelves.

The double structure of the cleat 15 gives it a very good seat in the rectangular perforations 3 and allows it to withstand very significant tearing and shearing forces.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the retention appendages 38, 38 ′ each comprise a rounded lower part 39, 39 ′ ensuring the guiding of the cleat 15 during its insertion into the upright 1 and, in their upper part a recess 40 , 40 ′ making it possible to compensate for the stamping burr of the rectangular perforations 3 of the uprights 1 for vertical positioning of the cleat 15, and, in that the U-shaped segment of profile 37 is, moreover, bevelled 41 in its upper part, facilitating the installation of the shelf 16 during its assembly.

The bottoms of the recesses 27 then rest on the upper edges of the connecting segments 52 of the lugs 15, so that the shelf 16 is also positioned in depth.

In addition, once in place, the cleats can neither fall inside the uprights 1, nor come off them, without voluntary manipulation by the user, due to the dimensioning of the cleat 15 relative to the rectangular perforations 3.

Furthermore, due to their compact shape, the cleats 15 do not cluster when several of them are combined, for example in the hand of the user.

The third attachment and shelf support element 16 which can be used on the uprights 1 at their rectangular perforations, is in the form of a cage nut fixing assembly 13 - corresponding screw. The cage nut 13 is put into place by clipping into the rectangular perforation 3 and the shelf 16 is then fixed to the upright 1, at its recess 27, by means of a screw.

Consequently, the three types of hooking and supporting elements 13 to 15 use the same rectangular perforations 3 of the uprights 1 and position the shelves 16, for a given perforation 3, at the same level regardless of the type of elements 13 to 14 used. In addition, the shelves 16, once mounted, are always in direct contact with the uprights 1, hence a constant span.

Thus, the attachment and support elements 13 to 15 are perfectly interchangeable and compatible with each other.

In accordance with an additional characteristic of the invention, shown in Figures 10 and 11 of the accompanying drawings, the fixing of gangways on the uprights 1 is carried out by means of crosspieces 42 and beams 43 from the same profile and each comprising d on the one hand, a lower reinforcement wing 44 and an upper support wing 45 possibly provided with orifices 46 for fixing floors and, on the other hand, at each end, an embedding tongue 47 stamped and bent, and a perforation intended for a screw 48 for fixing by bolting, thus producing a mixed mounting of the crosspiece 42 on the upright 1 and the spar 43 on adapter flanges 49, themselves integral with the upright 1 by means of tabs recess 47 ′ and screws 48.

Thanks to the crosspieces 42, to the side rails 43 and to the adaptation flanges 49, in accordance with the invention, the user can carry out a preliminary mounting of the walkways by simply embedding the various elements 42, 43 and 49 between them and on the uprights 1 and carry out the final fixing and mounting of the gangways by subsequent bolting.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the uprights 1, the shelves 16, the connecting elements 6 to 8 and 10, the hooking and support elements 14 and 15 as well as the gangway fixing elements 42, 43 and 49 can be made of galvanized or lacquered sheet metal, the thickness of which depends on the type of element 1, 6 to 8, 10, 14 to 16, 42, 43 or 49, as well as the loads to be borne by the shelving units 17.

The holes 4 and 5 are preferably spaced apart from each other by approximately 100 mm, the holes 5 having a configuration and dimensions such that they allow them to accommodate bayonet nuts 50, such as those known under the reference LC NYL 46 10 C from COMET. The lateral perforations 3 are advantageously arranged in a pitch of 25 mm and have a rectangular configuration intended for the insertion of cage nuts, such as those known under the reference RAPID C 806-18 from the company RAPID.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements, or by substitution of technical equivalents, without thereby departing from the scope of protection of the invention.

Claims (12)

1. Shelving device, essentially consisting of uprights, assembled together and supporting, by means of fastening elements, shelves and / or gangways, device characterized in that the uprights (1) are in the form of tubes identical open rectangulars, provided with a longitudinal slot (2), perforations (3) and orifices (4, 5), allowing, on the one hand, the assembly of the uprights (1) between them, in ladders or in load-bearing panels (12) according to the user's choice) thanks to various connecting elements (6 to 10) and, on the other hand, the mix of different hooking and support elements (13, 14, 15) shelves (16) on the same shelving unit (17) and / or on the same upright (1) and / or for mounting the same shelf (16), while keeping the same assembly and mounting of the shelving units (17) whatever the element (13, 14, 15) for hanging and shelf support (16) used. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that each upright (1) comprises, on the one hand, on two opposite carrying faces (18, 18 ′) of rectangular perforations (3) regularly spaced, on the other hand, an open face (19) provided with orifices (4) also rectangular, integrated into the longitudinal slot (2) and arranged regularly along the latter, and, optionally, on the remaining face (20), opposite the face open (19), orifices (5) intended in particular for the insertion of bayonet nuts (50). 3. Device according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the connecting elements (6 and 7) for assembling the uprights (1) between them in ladders (11) are in the form of hollow rectangular tubes (6) or profiled sheet sleepers (7), embedded in the uprights (1) respectively at their rectangular holes (4) and at their longitudinal slot (2), the assembly of said uprights (1) in load-bearing panels (12) being carried out, either by fixing, in the slot longitudinal (2), of a full thin sheet (8), either by the additional addition on the scales (11) of gratings (9) or thin filling sheets (10) between two uprights (1) already connected. 4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the gratings (9) are fixed to the uprights (1) by means of removable retaining flanges (21), comprising at least two hooks (22, 22 ′ integral with each other and extended by a transverse guide piece (23), said retention flange (21) being able, once put in place, to slide in the longitudinal slot (2) while being held there by the transverse guide piece (23). 5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the shelves (16) comprise a support surface (24) delimited, on the one hand, by two longitudinal reinforcing flanges (25) folded and, on the other hand, by two lateral flanges (26) for attachment to the uprights (1), each provided with two recesses (27) allowing the fixing of the shelves (16) to the uprights (1) of the ladders (11) or of the load-bearing panels (12) by means various hooking and support elements (13 to 15). 6. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the hooking and support elements (13 to 15) of the shelves (16) are, advantageously, either cleats (14), or cleats (15) or else cage nut assemblies (13) - screws, using the same rectangular perforations (3) of the bearing faces (18, 18 ′) of the uprights (1) and perfectly interchangeable and compatible with each other. 7. Device according to claim 6, characterized in that each cleat (15) is advantageously a double cleat, comprising a segment of U-shaped section (37) extended by two retention appendages (38, 38 ′), inserted in the uprights (1) when fitting the cleats (15), at the level of their rectangular perforations (3), said tabs (15) ensuring the fixing of the shelves (16) on the uprights (1) with a minimum overhang, without creating any extra thickness, and being invisible after the mounting of the shelves (16). 11. Device according to claim 10, characterized in that the retention appendages (38, 38 ′) each comprise a rounded lower part (39, 39 ′) guiding the cleat (15) during its insertion into the upright (1) and, in their upper part a recess (40, 40 ′) making it possible to compensate for the stamping burr of the rectangular perforations (3) of the uprights (1) for a vertical positioning of the cleat (15), and, in this that the U-shaped segment (37) is, moreover, bevelled (41) in its upper part, facilitating the positioning of the shelf (16) during its assembly. 12. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it also has, for fixing gangways to the uprights (1), cross members (42) and side members (43) from the same profile and each comprising: on the one hand, a lower reinforcement wing (44) and an upper support wing (45), possibly provided with orifices (46) for fixing floors and, on the other hand, at each end, a tongue of embedding (47) stamped and folded, and a perforation intended for a screw (48) for fixing by bolting, thus effecting a mixed mounting of the crosspiece (42) on the upright (1) and the spar (43) on flanges adapter (49), themselves integral with the upright (1) by means of mounting tabs (47 ′) and screws (48).
