The width of the narrow sides is essentially due to the space requirement of the deflection roller with associated bearing, the width of the side walls is also due to the space requirement of the deflection rollers plus the inserted strand or strands and a safety surcharge. It should also be mentioned that the mounting of the bearing 16, 16b; 16a ', 16b' with the respective rotatable deflection roller 15a, 15b or 15a ', 15b' in the associated side parts can also be carried out in a different way, for example also as described in EP-A1-0 214 074. It is only essential in the context of the present invention that the rotatable mounting is ensured.

Claims (12)

  1. Double roller element for a jacquard machine, having a supporting element (7) comprising two parts (7a, 7b; 7a', 7b') connected to one another by means of a connection device and having two deflection rollers (15a, 15b; 15a', 15b') mounted in the supporting element (7), with each part (7a, 7b; 7a', 7b') having at one of its ends in each case one of the deflection rollers (15a, 15b; 15a', 15b') including its mounting (16a, 16b; 16a', 16b'), characterized in that from its other end in each case a member (19a-30a, 19b-30b; 32a-39a, 32b-37b) of the connection device projects away in a plane through which the axis of the respective deflection roller (15a, 15b; 15a', 15b') passes vertically, with the two members (19a-30a, 19b-30b; 32a-39a, 32b-37b) of the connection device being capable of being connected to one another in the plane in such a way that with the exertion of stress in the plane a unit connected in a form-locking and frictional manner is achieved therein.
  2. Double roller element according to claim 1, characterized in that the members of the connection device are formed by hook elements (32a, 32b) which engage into one another in the connected state.
  3. Double roller element according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that both parts (7a', 7b') of the supporting element are constructed identically.
  4. Double roller element according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that each part (7a', 7b') in the region of the connection device has guide walls (36a, 37a, 36b, 37b), between which the hook element (32b, 32a) of the other part (7a', 7b') can be inserted and is supported in the connected state.
  5. Double roller element according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that each hook element (32a, 32b) has guide grooves (38a) or guide projections (39a) in the plane, which engage into one another in the connected state.
  6. Double roller element according to claim 1, characterized in that the connection device is formed by a snapping plug connection (19a-23a, 19b-23b).
  7. Double roller element according to claim 6, characterized in that both parts (7a, 7b) of the supporting element (7) are constructed identically and have both a resiliently flexible catch (19a, 19b) with hook member (20a, 20b) and an arresting member (23a, 23b) for the rear-gripping incorporation of the hook member (20a, 20b) of the catch (19a, 19b) of the respective other part (7b, 7a).
  8. Double roller element according to one of claims 6 or 7, characterized in that each part (7a, 7b) has in the region of the connection device a guide element (21a, 21b) which can be inserted between side walls (25a, 26a; 25b, 26b) of the respective other part (7b, 7a) extending in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the respective deflection roller (15a, 15b).
  9. Double roller element according to claim 8, characterized in that the guide element (21a, 21b) of the one part (7a, 7b) in the connected state of both parts (7a, 7b) abuts the guide element (21b, 21a) of the other part (7b, 7a) in a plane passing through the axes of the deflection rollers (15a, 15b).
  10. Double roller element according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterized in that the resiliently flexible catch (19a, 19b) is provided in the region of the narrow sides of the respective part (7a, 7b) and can be deflected in a resiliently flexible manner in the direction of the other narrow side and the respective other part (7b, 7a) has in the region of the other narrow side a recessed grip (24b, 24a) which makes access possible to the snapped-in catch (19a, 19b), with parts (7a, 7b) connected to one another, for the purpose of releasing the connection.
  11. Double roller element according to claim 9 and/or 10, characterized by guide bevels (27a, 27b, 28a, 28b) on the catch (19a, 19b) and on the guide element (21a, 21b).
  12. Double roller element according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that each part (7a, 7b; 7a'-7b') is a die-cast plastics part.
