Definitions

  • the invention relates to a support device for fixing ceiling panels to a wall, with an angle profile, which has a mounting leg to be arranged parallel to the wall and a substantially perpendicular support leg and with a spring element for clamping the ceiling panels against the support leg, the Spring element for clamping in the angle profile has a spring arm and a fastening section supported on the fastening leg.
  • a device for fastening ceiling panels in which a ceiling panel is guided against a likewise U-shaped spring element inserted into a U-profile, the spring element overlapping the ceiling panel on the one hand and also with an angled partial surface in the ceiling panel protrudes.
  • the spring element and U-profile hold the ceiling panel together.
  • a suspension device for ceiling panels in which a spring element arranged between the wall profile and the ceiling panel fixes the panel.
  • the spring element encompasses the edge of the ceiling panel and is spread between the wall profile and the ceiling panel.
  • a defined distance between the edge of the ceiling tile and the wall profile is therefore a prerequisite for an effective attachment of the ceiling tile.
  • Another support device is known for example from EP-A-0 271 075.
  • the connecting profile there has a fastening leg and a support leg angled directly therefrom.
  • an edge strip is folded over by 180 °.
  • a narrow edge strip is edged up on its inner edge.
  • the edge strip prevents longitudinal displacement of the ceiling panels.
  • the ceiling panels are raised against the force of the retaining leaf springs and moved in the longitudinal direction.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to propose a support device of the type mentioned, in which a simple placement and positioning of the ceiling panels on the Support leg possible and the secure hold of the ceiling plate is guaranteed.
  • the support device consists of an angle profile and a spring element, the spring element being designed to be clamped into the angle profile.
  • the spring element provided according to the invention can be designed as a longitudinal profile that can be clipped in later, which extends over a substantial part of the length of the angle profile. The ceiling panels can thus first be placed next to each other in the desired position on the support leg without being impaired by a leaf spring and can be subsequently fixed by clipping the spring element.
  • the possibility remains open of first clamping the spring element in the required position on the angle profile and then using the spring elasticity of the spring element to push the individual ceiling panels into the desired position on the angle profile.
  • the proposed support device is also suitable for fixing wall panels, if this is desired.
  • the fastening section is designed to be resiliently clampable in the angle profile. This allows a relatively simple and quick installation of a false ceiling or wall covering.
  • the fastening section can preferably be clamped between the upper end of the fastening leg and the support leg adjacent to the fastening leg.
  • the spring element can be designed such that it can be snapped into the angular profile in a form-fitting manner. In this way it is achieved with simple means that the spring element does not come out of the clamping position unintentionally, in particular also not in the event of temperature fluctuations.
  • the fastening section is designed such that it can be snapped into the angular profile, so that this fastening section takes over the double function of the clamping and the snapping.
  • the latter can in particular be implemented in a simple manner if the fastening section can be snapped onto the upper end of the fastening arm and the support arm adjacent to the fastening arm.
  • the ends of the fastening section are preferably supported on abutments formed, for example, by a channel or a retaining projection. This measure counteracts an unwanted displacement of the spring element from the desired clamping position.
  • the spring arm branches off approximately from the center of the fastening section, so that the spring element has the basic shape of a T or Y. In this way, particularly favorable elastic conditions are achieved.
  • the spring arm itself can also consist of resilient material, so that it not only contributes to the clamping effect of the spring element but also to the fixing of the ceiling panels on the support leg.
  • the spring arm has at its free end a profile section angled away from its pressing side. This ensures that the ceiling panels can be easily inserted between the support leg and spring arm with elastic deflection of the spring arm when the spring element is already in its clamping or locked position on the angle profile. This is particularly advantageous for the installation of the last installed ceiling panels of a false ceiling.
  • the fastening section is integrally formed with the spring arm.
  • an upper profile section of the fastening leg is angled inwards, the upper end of the fastening section of the spring element can be easily supported against the leg. All that is required is a small retaining projection at the upper end of the profile section to form an abutment.
  • the throat that forms behind the angled profile section can be used to introduce sealants if it is a clean room ceiling.
  • the upper profile section over a e.g. is formed by a notch weakened area with the part of the fastening leg intended for bearing against the wall, the upper profile section, if it is bent back and forth a few times, can be broken off from the part of the fastening leg intended to bear against the wall, where this is the case is necessary for spatial reasons. This is because the upper profile section does not need to run over the entire length of the angle profile. It can also consist, for example, of sub-profile sections arranged at intervals if the clamping and snap-in function for the fastening leg of the spring element is still ensured.
  • the support leg on the side facing away from its support surface for the ceiling panels has a substantially rounded, preferably concave, for example the shape of a groove. Such a rounding is easily accessible to a wipe.
  • the support device according to the invention is to be used for a clean room ceiling, it is further proposed according to the invention that in the support surface of the support leg one or more recess (s) for receiving sealing profiles and / or to save material. In this way, a reliable seal of the underside of the ceiling panels against the support leg can be achieved.
  • the sealing profiles can consist, for example, of a soft rubber or plastic or hard rubber or plastic, with one part or section ensuring the durability of the function and the other part ensuring the required flexibility of the sealing strip.
  • a further measure of the invention proposes that in the angular profile, preferably in the support leg, at least one recess for an essentially form-fitting reception of a longitudinal connector, e.g. made of steel, is provided.
  • a longitudinal connector e.g. made of steel
  • a longitudinal recess for receiving a sealing profile is provided in the contact surface of the fastening leg which is to be turned towards the wall. A reliable sealing of the ceiling against the wall can also be achieved in this way.
  • This sealing profile can also consist of soft rubber or plastic and can be clamped into the recess, which can be achieved, for example, by barb-like projections.
  • the support device according to the invention can be realized inexpensively with great functional reliability and light weight if the spring element is designed as a plastic profile.
  • the angle profile can be designed as an extruded profile made of metal, in particular aluminum.
  • the support device shown in FIG. 1 has an angle profile 1, which essentially consists of a fastening leg 2 for fastening to a wall 4 and a supporting leg 3 projecting essentially perpendicularly therefrom.
  • the fastening leg 2 is at intervals with, for example, holes 6 designed as elongated holes for attachment to the wall 4 with the aid of conventional ones Fasteners, such as screws.
  • a longitudinal recess 7 is provided in the support surface 10 of the fastening leg 2, in which a seal 8 designed as a sealing strip is inserted.
  • the recess 7 has hook-like projections 9 on its side walls, which hold the seal 8, for example made of foam rubber, in position.
  • the seal 8 protrudes slightly beyond the rear contact surface 10 of the fastening leg 2, so that the seal 8 is slightly compressed during assembly by interaction with the surface 5 of the wall 4 to increase the sealing function.
  • an upper profile section 11 is angled in the direction away from the contact surface 10, so that in the assembled state between the surface 5 of the wall 4 and the upper Profile section 11 forms a V-shaped throat 20, in which a sealing agent, for example silicone, can be entered.
  • the profile section 1 is connected to the remaining part of the fastening leg 2 via a material weakening area, the weakening area being formed by a notch 27 which is open to the inside. If the profile section 11 is bent back and forth a few times in the weakened area, the profile section 11 can be eliminated where it is not required or is a nuisance for reasons of space.
  • the support leg 3 has an upper support surface 12 for the ceiling panels 13 to be fixed thereon on, which are supported on the support leg 3 with their underside 14 flat over essential areas of the support leg 3.
  • two recesses 15a, 15b running parallel to one another over the length of the angle profile 1 are provided in the support surface 12, a seal 17, 19 consisting of a sealing profile 17 made of hard rubber or plastic and a sealing profile 19 being provided in the one recess 15a is made of soft rubber or plastic.
  • the seal 17, 19, which can also be extruded in one piece, ensures reliable sealing of the ceiling panels 13 with respect to the support leg 3.
  • the seal 17, 19 can be positioned, for example, by means of an adhesive layer 23.
  • the underside of the support leg 3 is designed as a continuously concave groove 16 which merges into a convex curve at its outer end. This avoids corners that are difficult to access for cleaning.
  • the support leg 3 In its area adjoining the attachment leg 2, the support leg 3 encloses a cavity 21, which essentially serves to save material.
  • the cavity 21 is adjoined by an essentially rectangular recess 22, into which a longitudinal connector 24, for example made of steel, can be inserted in a substantially form-fitting manner for a transition point between two angle profiles 1 adjoining one another on the end face.
  • a groove-like depression 26 is provided immediately adjacent to the mounting leg 2, which is delimited by a shoulder 25.
  • a holding projection 28 is provided at the upper inner end of the profile section 11.
  • the recess 26 and the holding projection 28 form the abutments for the clamping or latching receiving of a spring element 29 (for example made of plastic) by means of a spring-elastic fastening section 31, which with its free rounded ends 33 is located on the one hand in the recess 26 and on the other hand on the holding projection 28 supports.
  • the distance of the depression 26 from the holding projection 28 is slightly smaller than the length of the fastening section 31 in its non-prestressed, stretched state.
  • a spring arm 30 branches off in the direction of the inner free end of the support leg 3.
  • the spring arm 30 is provided at its end facing away from the wall 4 with a profile section 32 which is angled upwards from its pressing side 34.
  • the spring arm 30 is also slightly curved in the clamped and locked position of the spring element 29, as a result of which the ceiling plates 13 are clamped between the pressing side 34 of the spring arm 30 and the bearing surface 12 of the bearing leg 3.
  • the embodiment of the support device shown in FIG. 2 in turn has an angle profile 101 which has a fastening leg 102 for fastening to the wall 4 and a supporting leg 103 projecting essentially perpendicularly therefrom.
  • a foam rubber seal 108 can again be provided.
  • the fastening leg 102 has an upper profile section 111, which is angled in the direction away from the support surface 110, so that, as in the support device shown in FIG. 1, a V-shaped groove is formed, into which a sealing means 140 is inserted. Such an additional sealing means 140 is provided in particular when the seal 108 is not sufficient.
  • a one-piece lip seal 119 is inserted into the recess 115b.
  • the lower part 131b of the fastening section 131 is of an angular shape, the leg 135 essentially forms the extension of the spring arm 130.
  • This leg 135 merges into a downwardly angled profile section 136, which rests with its rounded end 133 in the recess 126.
  • the leg 135 forms an acute angle with the upper fastening section 131a.
  • This configuration of the spring element 129 offers the advantage that the fastening ends 133 show greater flexibility during the fastening process. Another advantage is that when inserting the ceiling panel 13 under the spring arm 130, the ends 133 additionally jam.
