Claims (6)

  1. Bürste zum Auftragen von Maskara auf die Wimpern, bestehend aus einer langen Seele, die zumindest teilweise von Borsten umgeben ist, die radial auf der Seele angeordnet und im wesentlichen gleichmäßig so verteilt sind, daß sie mindestens einen Kamm langer Borsten bilden, der von kürzeren Borsten umgeben ist, wobei das Ende der Borsten bei der Projektion in eine Ebene senkrecht zur Seele bzw. in dieser Ebene eine geometrische Kontur beschreibt und die Breite der Kämme gemessen am Umfang der Bürste in dieser Ebene nicht mehr als 3 mm beträgt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    der oder die Kämme eine Wendel bilden, deren Steigung gleich dem ein- bis vierfachen der Länge der Bürste ist.
  2. Bürste nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die geometrische Kontur die Form eines regelmäßigen Polygons mit 3 bis 6 Seiten, einer Ellipse, eines Schiffchens oder die Form eines durch ein Dreieck ergänzten Halbkreises aufweist.
  3. Bürste nach Anspruch 2, bei der das Ende der Borsten in der Projektion eine elliptische oder eine schiffchenförmige Kontur aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kontur, bezogen auf die Seele, außermittig ist.
  4. Bürste nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei der die Kontur des Endes der Borsten im wesentlichen die Form eines gleichseitigen Dreiecks aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Kamm (6a, 6b, 6c) eine Vierteldrehung auf der Länge der Bürste beschreibt.
  5. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Bürste nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem man eine Bürste mit einer zylindrischen, zylindrisch-konischen oder kegelförmigen Außenkontur erzeugt, in der die Borsten ringförmig oder schraubenförmig auf der Seele angeordnet sind, wobei man die Länge der Borsten durch Fräsen oder Umfangsschleifen berichtigt, damit das Ende der Borsten die gewünschte Kontur annimmt und Kämme bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Seele nach dem Fräsen oder Schleifen um eine Vierteldrehung bis ganze Drehung so verdrillt, daß die Kämme eine Wendel mit einer Steigung bilden, die gleich dem ein- bis vierfachen der Länge der Bürste ist.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Seele der Bürste herstellt, indem man einen Metalldraht über eine Reihe von Borsten schlägt und den folglich doppelt liegenden Draht so verdreht, daß die Borsten in Form von schraubenförmigen Reihen radialer Borsten rings um die Seele festgeklemmt sind.
