Abstract

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Streicheinrichtung nach dem Oberbe­griff des Patentanspruchs 1. Eine solche Streicheinrichtung ist bekannt aus der DE-C 35 13 063. Bei dieser Streicheinrichtung ist an der Streichklinge und der die Warenbahn führenden Gegen­walze ein relativ großer weiträumiger Auftragsraum vorgesehen, der an der Einlaufseite der Warenbahn durch eine Vorderwand be­grenzt ist, die Auslaßöffnungen aufweist. Diese Vorderwand er­streckt sich fast bis zur Berührung mit der Gegenwalze zu der­selben hin. Bei diesen Einrich­tungen wird der Tragbalken samt der Kammer für die Streichmasse einschließlich deren Mündung in die Auftragszone und damit auch der Deckkörper und gegenbenenfalls der Basiskörper in gleichem Maße mitgeschwenkt, wie sich die Winkellage der Einspannung der Streichklinge ändert. Der nötige Überschußanteil der Streichmasse fließt über die öÖffnungen bzw. den Kanal 47 der den Druckraum an der Einlaufseite der Warenbahn oder der Walzenoberfläche begrenzen­den Vorderwand 41 zu der Drosselstelle, die durch den Drossel­schieber 24 mit den Drosselöffnungen 25 bzw. die Drosselleiste 21 mit den Drosselöffnungen 22 gebildet ist, zu. Dadurch kann der Überschuß an Streichmasse auf gesteuerte Weise aus dem Druckraum 45 abgeleitet werden. Die Vorderwand 41 bildet noch vorzugsweise an der Gegenwalze 2 einen Drosselspalt 43, der eine so starke Drosselwirkung hat, daß hier nur eine äußerst geringe Menge an Streichmasse herausfließt. Man erhält auf diese Weise eine gut wirkende Dosiereinrichtung, die einen relativ glatten, störungsfreien Strich erzeugt bei relativ einfachem Aufbau der Anordnung. Claims (14)

1. Beschichtungseinrichtung, insbesondere Streicheinrichtung für laufende Warenbahnen aus Papier oder Karton, wobei an die Warenbahn im Bereich einer diese führenden Gegenwalze oder direkt an der Gegenwalze eine Streichklinge oder Roll­rakel angreift und eine Auftragskammer für die Streichmasse vorgesehen ist, in welcher die Streichmasse unter einem überatmosphärischen Druck gehalten wird, und aus der die Streichmasse über eine parallel zur Warenbahn bzw. Gegenwal­ze über die Breite der Warenbahn sich erstreckende Mündung der Warenbahn oder Gegenwalze bzw. Streichklinge oder Roll­rakel zuführbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens ein Deckkörper (1, 1′, 1˝, 1‴; 5, 5′, 5˝; 35) nahe der Ge­genwalze zwischen dieser und der Mündung (11) angeordnet ist, der einen unter überatmosphärischem Druck stehenden Auftragsraum (9) an der Streichklinge (4) bzw. der Rakelhal­terung (31, 32) bildet, der im wesentlichen durch den der Gegenwalze am nächsten angeordneten Deckkörper (1, 1′, 1˝, 1‴) von dieser abgeschottet ist und der (bzw. die) einen von dem an der Streichklinge (4) oder Rakelhalterung (32) gebildeten, von der Streichmasse durchströmten Auftragsraum (9) wegführenden, im Schnitt parallel zur Mittel-Längsachse der Gegenwalze schlitzförmigen Abflußkanal oder entsprechend über die Länge der Gegenwalze verteilte Abflußkanäle (7; 7′; 7˝; 7‴; 22, 37) mit Drosselwirkung und gegenüber der Streichklinge (4) bzw. der Rakelhalterung (31) einen zwei­ten, im Schnitt parallel zur Mittel-Längsachse der Gegen­walze schlitzförmigen Drosselkanal (8, 8′, 8˝, 8‴) bzw. Drosselstelle bildet (bzw. bilden).1. Gegenwalze (2) und dem Rakelelement (4) gelegenen Druckraum (45) ein Kanal (47, 22) im Bereich der Vorderwand (41), also entgegen der Laufrichtung der Gegenwalze (2) zur Ableitung von Streichmasse aus dem Druckraum (45) vorgesehen ist.11.
