Unter anderem ist nachteilig, daß der Benutzer beim Befüllen der Tabakpreßkammer stets darauf achten muß, daß möglichst wenig Tabakfasern über den Rand der Füllöffnung vorstehen, da sehr häufig ein nicht unbeachtlicher Teil der vorstehenden Tabakfasern bei der weiteren Handhabung zwischen Preßbalken und der diesem gegenüberliegenden Kante der Füllöffnung eingeklemmt wird, wodurch ein funktionssicheres Ausstoßen des Tabakstrangs aus der Preßkammer und Uberführung desselben in die Zigarettenhülse nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Die eingeklemmten Tabakfasern behindern das Ausstoßen des Tabakstrangs mitunter derart, daß dieser innerhalb der Tabakpreßkammer in Längsrichtung gestaucht wird mit der Folge, daß die Zigarettenhülse entweder nur unvollständig gefüllt oder beim Überführen des gestauchten und dementsprechend hoch komprimierten Tabakvorrats von der Aufstecktülle losgerissen wird, und zwar meist unter Aufplatzen der Zigarettenhülse und entsprechendem Verbröseln des ausgestoßenen Tabaks. Diesem Problem versuchte man bislang dadurch zu begegnen, daß die obere Kante des Preßbalkens als Schneide ausgebildet ist, so daß überstehende Tabakfasern beim Verpressen des Tabaks abgetrennt werden. Die entsprechenden Maßnahmen haben sich jedoch bis heute nicht ausreichend bewährt. In Kombination mit der vorgenannten Konstruktion haben sich die Maßnahmen nach Anspruch 6 und/oder 7 als besonders vorteilhaft erwiesen. Durch die vorgeschlagene Überkompression des Tabaks in der Tabakpreßkammer und der Entlastung des verpreßten Tabakstrangs zum Ausstoßen aus der Tabakpreßkammer auf Normalmaß oder geringfügig darunter ist es möglich, auf den eingangs erwähnten Löffel am ausstoßseitigen Ende des Ausstoßschiebers zu verzichten. Dabei muß bedacht werden, daß es sich bei dem erwähnten Löffel um ein äußerst filigranes Bauteil handelt, welches bei ungeschickter Handhabung leicht bricht und auch zu Verletzungen des Benutzers führt. Bei sehr feuchtem Tabak besteht sogar die Gefahr, daß bei der Rückbewegung des Ausstoßschiebers durch den Löffel Tabak aus der Zigarettenhülse wieder herausgezogen wird. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Überkompression des Tabaks kann also auf den erwähnten Löffel verzichtet werden. Der Tabakstrang läßt sich problemlos ohne Löffel, d. h. nur mittels des Ausstoßschiebers bzw. -Stößels in die Zigarettenpapierhülse überführen. Die Erfindung soll sich auch auf das beschriebene Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Tabakstrangs innerhalb einer Tabakpreßkammer beziehen, bei dem zunächst eine Überkompression des Tabakstrangs erfolgt derart, daß der Querschnitt desselben kleiner ist als der Querschnitt des Tabakaufnahmeraums der angesetzten Zigarettenhülse, um dann unmittelbar vor dem oder wenigstens beim Ausstoßen des Tabakstrangs diesen radial zu entlasten, so daß sein Querschnitt Normalmaß annimmt, vorzugsweise nur noch geringfügig kleiner ist als der freie Querschnitt des Tabakaufnahmeraums der angesetzten Zigarettenhülse. Zunächst soll anhand der Fig. 3a eine Ausführungsform für eine Vorrichtung zum Stopfen vorgefertigter Zigarettenhülsen , insbesondere Zigarettenfilterhülsen, mit Rauchtabak näher erläutert werden. Diese Vorrichtung umfaßt ein Gehäuse, welches aus einen Gehäuseunterteil 11 und einem Gehäuseoberteil 12 besteht. Im Gehäuseoberteil ist eine längliche Öffnung, nämlich Tabak-Füllöffnung 13, vorgesehen, die in eine Tabakpreßkammer 14 mündet. Die Preßkammer 14 wird einerseits von einem halbrunden Wandteil 40 und andererseits von einer entgegengesetzt halbrunden Fläche 16 eines waagerecht verschiebbaren Preßbalken 17 begrenzt. Der innere Wandteil 40 gehört zu einer der Preßkammer 14 zugeordneten äußeren Seitenwand 41, die als Doppelwand ausgebildet ist und deren äußerer Wandteil 42 in Anschlagrichtung gegenüber dem inneren Wandteil 40 verschiebbar ausgebildet ist. Zu diesem Zweck weist der äußere Wandteil 42 einen Ansatz 43 auf, der einen Längsschlitz 44 im inneren Wandteil 40 durchragt und in diesem gleitend gelagert ist. Der Ansatz 43 trägt einen stößelartigen Ausstoßschieber 25. Der Wandteil 42 und der Ausstoßschieber 25 bilden ein integrales, d. h. gemeinsam in Längsrichtung der Tabakpreßkammer 14 hin- und herverschiebbares Bauteil. Ferner ist der äußere Wandteil 42 mittels einer hinterschnittenen Führung 46 mit dem Gehäuseunterteil 11 unter Ausbildung einer Geradführung verbunden. Auf der Oberseite des äußeren Wandteils 42 ist ein Griff 29 angeordnet. Das dem Wandteil 16 diametrale Ende 20 des Preßbalkens 17 ist mit einem Hebel 21 gekoppelt, welcher zugleich als Handhabe 23 ausgebildet ist. Diese kann z. B. als Formspritzteil aus Kunststoff hergestellt sein. Die Handhabe 23 ist um eine horizontale Achse verschwenkbar gelagert, welche durch seitlich an der Handhabe 23 angeformte Lagerzapfen 22 definiert ist. Diese korrespondieren mit einer jeweils bogenförmigen Steuernut 3, die jeweils an der Außenseite von zwei ebenfalls im axialen Abstand voneinander, jedoch zwischen den beiden bereits erwähnten L-förmigen Wangen 24 angeordneten Wangen 18 ausgebildet sind, die Bestandteil eines Zwischengehäuseoberteils 12 und Preßbalkens 17 hin- und herverschiebbaren Deckels 1 sind. Die Steuernuten 2 und 3 sind so ausgebildet und relativ zueinander angeordnet, daß bei Betätigung der Handhabe 23 in Preßrichtung (Pfeil 19) die Füllöffnung 13 der Tabakpreßkammer 14 durch den Deckel 1 verschlossen wird derart, daß die Schließbewegung des Deckels der Bewegung des Preßbalkens 17 in Preßrichtung voreilt. Vorzugsweise ist die Ankoppelung des parallel zum Preßbalken 17 hin- und herbewagbaren Deckels 1 an der Handhabe 23 so, daß die Bewegung des Preßbalkens 17 in Preßrichtung erst dann beginnt, wenn der Deckel 1 sich in Füllöffnungs-Schließstellung entsprechend Fig. 2 befindet. Um dies zu erreichen, ist bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig.3a die L-förmige Steuernut 2 vorgesehen, wobei der kürzere Schenkel sich im Abstand von Preßbalken 17 etwa parallel zu dessen Bewegungsrichtung erstreckt, und zwar von der Preßkammer 14 weggerichtet. Des weiteren ist die lichte Weite des oberen Horizontalschenkels der Steuernut 2 größer als der Außendurchmesser des zugeordneten Zapfens 6, so daß bei Verschwenken der Handhabe 23 in Preßrichtung 19 ausgehend von der Füllstellung der Führungszapfen 6 im oberen Horizontalschenkel der Steuernut 2 zunächst wirkungslos bleibt mit der Folge, daß der Preßbalken 17 in seiner zurückgezogenen Stellung entsprechend Fig. 3a verharrt. Die innenseitig an der Handhabe 23 angeformten, jeweils mit den Zapfen 6 fluchtenden Zapfen korrespondieren jedoch bereits von Anfang an mit den dem Deckel 1 zugeordneten Steuernuten 3, so daß der Deckel 1 ohne Verzögerung in Schließrichtung bewegt wird mit der Folge, daß die Füllöffnung 13 bereits vollständig verschlossen ist, bevor der Preßbalken 17 wirksam wird. Dadurch wird der eingefüllte Tabak in die Tabakpreßkammer 14 beim Verschließen der Öffnung 13 durch den Deckel 1 regelrecht "hineingerollt". Gegebenenfalls noch überstehende Tabakreste werden zwischen der Schneide 5 und der dem Preßbalken 17 gegenüberliegenden Begrenzungskante 7 der Füllöffnung 13 abgetrennt, so daß sich der eingefüllte Tabak praktisch vollständig innerhalb der Tabakpreßkammer 14 befindet. Der letztlich hergestellte Tabakstrang 10 entsprechend Fig. 3 läßt sich dann problemlos aus der Tabakpreßkammer 14 ausstoßen. An der vorderen Wand 50 ist beispielsweise mittels Niete 59, 60 oder dergleichen ein Halteteil 61 mit einem Halteblock 62 zur Aufnahme und zur Führung eines Klemmelements 49 vorgesehen. Das der Tülle 52 zugeordnete Ende 63 der relativ zur Tülle 52 diametral angeordneten Klemmelemente 49 ist jeweils konkav ausgebildet. Die jeweils anderen Enden 64 stehen in Gleitkontakt mit den Leisten 57, 58 des Betätigungselements 56. Die Klemmelemente 49 stehen jeweils unter Wirkung eines elastischen Bauteils, insbesondere elastischen Druckelements, z. B. einer Druckfeder 65, die im Ruhezustand die Klemmelemente 49 von der Tülle 52 wegdrücken. Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a housing (9) with a tobacco-pressing chamber (14) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the latter, a lid-like press bar (17), assigned to this pressing chamber, in a lid (30) covering the housing (9) and tiltable about an axis (8) perpendicular to the pressing chamber, and an ejection slide (25) for ejecting a pressed tobacco strand in a cigarette tube which is held in a clamping manner on a nozzle (32) at the exit of the pressing chamber (14), characterized in that the press bar (17) has tobacco-compression elements (compression strip 27) which extends through the press bar (17) over at least part or over the entire length of the latter and which is supported in an elastically flexible manner (spring elements 28) on the side facing away from the pressing chamber (14), so that, during the closing of the pressing chamber (14), a precompression of the introduced tobacco takes place by means of the compression strip 27 (Figures 9 to 12).
  12. Appliance according to Claim 11, characterized in that, in the closed position of the press bar (17), as a result of support against the housing (9) the compression strip (27) is moved into a position in which the side facing the tobacco-pressing chamber (14) is approximately flush with the pressing face (16) of the press bar (17).
