Claims (10)

  1. Cellule d'électrolyse (2) pour la réduction de dioxyde de carbone, ayant une anode (4), une cathode (6, 18) et un électrolyte polymère solide (10), caractérisée en ce que la cathode comporte :
    (a) une cathode primaire de réduction de dioxyde de carbone (6) formée sous la forme d'une couche sur une surface dudit électrolyte polymère solide (10) et contenant au moins une phtalocyanine métallique ou une porphyrine métallique en tant que matériau catalytique
    (b) et une cathode secondaire de réduction de dioxyde de carbone (18) en contact électrique avec la cathode primaire (6), la cathode secondaire (18) ayant la forme d'un ou de plusieurs écrans revêtus d'un catalyseur de réduction de dioxyde de carbone ayant une surtension due à l'hydrogène plus grande que le platine.
  2. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'écran ou les écrans comportent de l'acier inoxydable, du cuivre, du laiton, du niobium, du zirconium ou du titane.
  3. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle le revêtement de catalyseur est un métal.
  4. Cellule d'électrolyse selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans laquelle le revêtement de catalyseur est formé à partir d'un matériau sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué d'étain, de plomb, de cuivre, de zinc, de cadmium, de gallium, d'argent, d'or, d'indium, de fer, de tungstène, de molybdène et de carbone.
  5. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 4, dans laquelle le revêtement de catalyseur est de l'indium.
  6. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle le revêtement de catalyseur est une phtalocyanine métallique ou une porphyrine métallique.
  7. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle la phtalocyanine métallique est sélectionnée parmi le groupe constitué de la phtalocyanine de fer, de cuivre, de nickel et de cobalt.
  8. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 7, dans laquelle la phtalocyanine métallique est la phtalocyanine de nickel.
  9. Cellule d'électrolyse selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans laquelle la cathode primaire est sélectionnée parmi le groupe constitué de la phtalocyanine de fer, de cuivre, de nickel et de cobalt.
  10. Cellule d'électrolyse selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle la phtalocyanine métallique est la phtalocyanine de nickel.
