Der Verschlußstöpsel im Ablaufloch wird entweder von Hand eingesetzt oder durch einen im Überlaufloch angeordneten Drehknopf betätigt. Dem Zufluß des Wassers dient eine .Sanitärarmatur, die meistens an der Wand über dem Wannenrand angebracht ist. The spring 64, which acts on the switching diaphragm vessel 57 and determines the desired water level, is set via a curve 61b and a pin 63. The curve 61c and a locking lever 64 hold the switching diaphragm vessel 57 in the stretched state via an angle arm 65 in the position shown in FIG. 6, and thus cause the diaphragm servo valve 58 (water inflow valve) - regardless of the water level - to be locked when the Plug 28 (water drain valve) is open. Curve 61b and spring 64 are designed and matched to one another so that the position of the actuating handle 47, in which the pin 66 of the locking button 48 abuts a nose 67 of the support 60, the water level is "full" (approx. 11 cm below the tub rim, approx 4 cm below row of slots 44) in the bathtub. Wird durch steigenden Wasserstand in der Badewanne 27 der Permanent-Ringmagnet 69 vom Schaltmembrangefäß 57 bei Kraftgleichheit mit der Feder 64 angehoben, so fällt bei Erreichen einer bestimmten Höhe der (nicht dargestellte) Weicheisenstift wieder herunter und sperrt das Membran-Servoventil 58 schlagartig.The water pressure in the bathtub is transmitted to the switching diaphragm vessel 57 through the water level measuring line 35. Claims (20)

  1. Bathtub (1; 27) with sanitary fixtures, of which the water inflow at the bottom of the tub, is preferably disposed in the vicinity of the water outlet or is combined with the latter, with an automatic water level unit (5, 6, 8-11, 17, 26; 46) which is located adjacent the tub (1; 27), preferably disposed under the tub edge, and is activated by the water level in the tub (1; 27), and which automatically closes the water supply valve (6; 58) when a given, preset water level is reached, characterised by a device for preventing dirty water from flowing back into the fresh water pipe disposed above the highest possible water level (highest point of the tub edge).
  2. Bathtub according to claim 1, characterised in that the device for preventing the back-flow of dirty water into the fresh water pipe is in the form of a pipe interruptor with continually open ventilation apertures, disposed at least 150 mm above the highest possible water level (highest point of the tub edge), and which, in order to save height, is preferably installed horizontally, such that a water - air mixture flows at the bottom of the tub.
  3. Bathtub according to claim 1, characterised in that the device for preventing dirty water from flowing back into the fresh water pipe is in the form of a free outlet (39) with a safety clearance of at least 20 mm between the lower edge of the outflow and the highest possible water level (highest point of the bathtub), which outlet is disposed in such a manner above the water inflow pipe (34) that when the freely emerging stream of water enters the water inflow pipe (34) it carries with it air in the form of a water jet blast, such that a water - air mixture flows at the bottom of the tub.
  4. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that part (15; 55) of the tub edge is raised, preferably in the vicinity of the head end, such that the pipe interruptor or the free outlet, if necessary with further units (mixer system, mixer thermostat, instantaneous water heater, bubbling air blower, whirlpool pump, etc) can be accommodated thereunder, wherein also the control devices (22, 23, 24; 47), particularly those for the outlet valve (7; 28) and the automatic water level unit (5, 6, 8-11, 17, 26; 46), but also for example the control device (23) for a mixing thermostat, a spray valve and a tub edge slip-in type shower (25; 53, 54), are disposed on the raised part (15; 55) of the tub edge; and in that the overflow connection (42) disposed on the outer side of the tub under the raised part (15; 55) of the tub edge is formed such that it collects any water spraying out of the pipe interruptor ventilation openings or out of the free outlet section (41).
  5. Bathtub according to claim 4, characterised in that the overflow outlet is disposed at the head end and is in the form of a series of horizontal slits (21;44), disposed at the level of the top edge of the otherwise conventional overflow hole, ie approximately 4 cm below the highest point of the tub edge; and in that the maximum "full" setting of the automatic water level unit (5, 6, 8-11, 26; 46) corresponds to a water level which is determined by the average volume of a human body (approximately 60 litres corresponding to approximately 7 cm) below the level of the series of slits (21; 44), ie approximately 11 cm below the deepest point of the tub edge.
  6. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised by a preferably electrically operated air blower (36), of which the flow is also conveyed into the water inflow pipe (32), wherein a one way valve (38) is installed in the latter, between the connection point of the air, pipe and the pipe interruptor or the free outlet.
  7. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that after draining of the tub (1; 27) with the water drainage valve (7; 28) open, the fresh water supply and / or the air supply are switched on automatically for a short time.
  8. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one water inflow / water outlet combination combined in a conventional manner with the parts for the overflow, is disposed at the head end of the bath tub in the sitting area, and is preferably covered with a drainage filter (4) in the bottom of the tub.
  9. Bathtub according to claim 8, characterised in that when a commercially available plug (28) is used in the bottom of the tub as a valve for the drainage of the water, the water inflow is disposed as a circular or U-shaped series of holes (31) about the outlet plug (28).
  10. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the water outlet valve (7; 28) is functionally combined with the automatic water level unit (5, 6, 8-11, 17, 26; 46) in such a way that the latter closes off the water inflow valve (6; 58) irrespective of the water level, when the water outlet valve is opened (7; 28), characterised in that the water inflow valve (6; 58) can be opened manually, against the closing-off by the automatic water level unit (5, 6, 8-11, 17, 26; 46).
  11. Bathtub according to claim 10, characterised by a combined operating handle (22; 47), which, when turned (eg to the left), first of all closes off the water outlet valve (7; 28), then when turned further, adjusts the required water level to a scale, wherein, either by pressing in of the operating handle (22; 47) against spring resistance, the water inflow valve (6; 58) is opened irrespective of the rotational position of the operating handle (22; 47), for as long as the handle is activated manually; or by the further rotation of the operating handle (22; 47), against the force of a return spring, beyond a pressure point corresponding to a "full" water level on the scale, the water inflow valve (6; 58) is opened, irrespective of the water level, for as long as the handle is activated manually; or the operating handle (47) has a laterally disposed locking button (48), which, when it is pressed in, and when the operating handle (47) is turned further, beyond the "full" position on the scale, the water inflow valve (58) is opened irrespective of the water level, and by the turning back of the operating handle (completely towards the right), the water inflow valve (6; 58) is closed off again and the water drainage valve (7; 28) is opened.
  12. Bathtub according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the pipes for the water inflow and water drainage are guided from the water inflow / water drainage combination on the bottom of the tub, to a container (5) disposed adjacent the tub (1) preferably under the edge of the tub, which container accommodates the valve (6) for the water inflow and the valve (7) for the water drainage.
  13. Bathtub according to claim 12, characterised in that the container (5) extends along the entire height of the tub, such that its water level communicates with that of the tub; and in that it accommodates a lifting unit (8) extending over the entire height of the tub, wherein the lifting unit (8) activates the water inflow valve (6) which is preferably in the form of a membrane - servo valve, and of which the cut-off point is determined by the lifting force of the lifting unit (8), and by an adjustable spring force (9) counteracting this force.
  14. Bathtub according to claim 12, characterised in that the container (5) extends over the entire height of the tub, such that the water level thereof communicates with that in the tub; and in that it comprises on the water level, a floating magnetic body which switches reed relays disposed along the outer side of the container, which reed relays are selected by the operating handle, and which, when the selected level is reached, switch off the membraneservo valve, fitted with an electrical switching coil, in the water inflow pipe.
  15. Bathtub according to any one of claims 12 to 14, characterised by two traps (12,13) disposed one behind the other in the water outlet pipe (3), of which one is disposed in a known manner under the base of the bathtub, and the second is disposed under the container (5); and in that the water inflow pipe (2) discharges into the water outlet pipe (3) upstream of the first trap (12), the overflow pipe (14) below the tub edge being positioned downstream of the outlet valve (7) and upstream of the second trap (13).
  16. Bathtub according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised by an impermeable sealed switching membrane vessel (57), which is acted upon by the water pressure in the tub, and of which the interior is connected permanently via an aperture (31) in the bottom of the tub, preferably via the water inflow pipe (34), to the interior of the tub, and of which the switching membrane force acts on the water inflow valve (58) preferably in the form of a membrane - servo valve, and closes the valve as soon as the force exceeds the counterforce of a preset spring (64) determining the required water level.
  17. Bathtub according to either of claims 13 or 16, characterised in that the water inflow valve (58) is activated in a contact-free manner by an external, preferably annular permanent magnet (69), which is moved by the switching membrane and surrounds a shaft (70) consisting of non-magnetic material, in the interior of which a soft iron pin acting as a valve cone is movably guided.
  18. Bathtub according to claim 17, characterised in that in order to enlarge the available switching path, the switching membrane is undulating, or the wall of the switching membrane vessel is in the form of bellows.
  19. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that water is supplied at a constant, preset temperature to the water inflow valve (6, 58) as a result of the upstream connection of a mixer tap with a one-way valve, a mixing thermostat (49) or a temperature-controlled electrical instantaneous water heater independent of the flow rate.
  20. Bathtub according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the water inflow / water drainage combination is disposed at the head end in the sitting area of the bottom of the tub, characterised in that the sitting area is simultaneously formed as the standing area for the shower, and the bottom of the tub at the foot end is somewhat raised and acts as an aid to getting in and as a sitting surface.
