Abstract

320,752. Amy, R. Oct. 8, 1928. Ball-and-float valves. -The supply to a bath is cut off on the attainment of a predetermined level by means of a valve 17 operated by a float 10 in a chamber 8, the valve being so arranged that after initial movement the water flow assists in closing it. 'The valve chamber has a pressure exhaust pipe 26, and the chamber 8 is connected to the bath or to the overflow chamber 2 accommodating the means 6 for operating the bath waste valve.
