Description

The invention relates to a turn-and-tilt window with a fixed window frame and an upper and lower turn-and-tilt bearing scissors which are in particular concealed in the region of its vertical axis of rotation, both pivotally and also pivotably connected by a lower horizontal window wing.

In known from DE-C-21 13 665 tilt-turn windows of the above type, the corner bearing present on the stop side of the window sash below has to absorb considerable bearing forces, especially in the open window sash rotation position, especially in the case of larger, correspondingly heavy window sashes. After prolonged use, this often leads to damage, warping or displacement of the window corner joint. This is especially the case when the tilt-and-turn window has concealed upper and lower tilt-and-turn bearing scissors, which, due to the flat position of their scissor links, are only able to absorb or remove small window sash weights.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a tilt-and-turn window which does not have the abovementioned shortcomings, but rather ensures permanent, correct storage of the tilt-and-turn window sash on its rotary ash-side stop side, in particular also on its lower corner bearing point. Starting from a window of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved according to the invention by that the window sash is suspended in a weight-relieving manner on its stop side located on the axis of rotation via a tension element, in particular a steel cable, which is attached with its lower end to the window sash near its lower sash corner and is connected at its upper end to an adjustment plate which is adjustable in height on the facing window frame leg is attached.

Due to the suspension of the window sash according to the invention on its hinge-side stop side via the tension element acting on it at the bottom, the forces resulting from the weight of the window sash can be effectively absorbed by the tension element and thus largely kept away from the lower corner bearing or the turn-tilt bearing scissors present here be, without that the tilt opening of the window sash is hindered. In addition to the lower one, the upper tilt and turn bearing scissors are partially relieved of weight, which means that overall greater protection of these bearing scissors and thus overall better, constantly correct mounting of the window sash is achieved. Furthermore, the assembly of the window sash, in particular at its lower corner joint point, can be simplified by the invention. In all of this, it is essential that the window sash, which is connected to the upper end of the tension element and is height-adjustable on the window frame leg, can be easily brought into its proper position, that is to say adjusted accordingly and also held securely in the adjustment position.

The latter is the case with the tilt-and-turn window according to EP-A-379 866, which is older and not prepublished and therefore falls under Art. 54 (3) EPC, for which the contracting states At, BE, CH, DE, DK, ES, FR , GB, IT, LI, NL, SE are not the case. Here, the turn-and-tilt window sash can already be held in a weight-relieved manner by a pulling element on its turn-axis side, via a pulling element that engages at its lower end near the wing corner and is fastened on the inside to the facing window frame leg will. However, a correct height adjustment of the tension element on the window frame leg is not guaranteed.

From DE-C-329 280 as well as from FR-A-694 310 door closers are known, which essentially consist of a spring wire bundle or pull link attached to the hinge side of the door leaf, attached to the door frame at the top, which consists of opening the Lift the latter door leaf and let it automatically return to its closed position when the leaf is released. These tension elements, that is, the spring wire bundle as well as the tension link, each extend over the upper area of the wing, to which they are each fastened at a relatively high level with their lower end. Apart from the fact that each of these is the door closer temporarily lifting when it is opened and automatically closing it again, these known pulling element arrangements are unsuitable for turn-tilt windows because they tilt the opening to be tilted about its lower horizontal axis Would not allow window sashes at all.

The turn-tilt window shown in Fig.1 consists of the fixed window frame 1 and the window sash 2 connected to it by means of concealed stops. This is in the area of its vertical axis of rotation 3 above via an upper turn-tilt bearing shear 4 and on it lower end via the lower turn-tilt bearing shears 5, both of which are of known design, connected to the frame 1 so that the wing 2, depending on the position of its linkage which can be changed by the actuating handle 6, either about the vertical axis of rotation 3 or about the horizontal Tilt axis 7 can be turned or tilt opened.

As shown in particular in FIG. 2, the window sash 2 is suspended from its weight on the stop side 2 'located on the axis of rotation 2' via a pulling rope 8 acting on it at the bottom. The traction cable 8 is fastened with its upper end via the fastening device 9 to the facing window frame leg 1 '. With its lower end, the steel cable 8 is fastened in the vicinity of the lower wing corner 2 ', for example simply hooked into the articulation element 10 fastened to the underside of the wing 2. For this purpose, a corresponding cross bolt 8 'can be attached to the lower end of the cable 8, which, as shown in particular in FIGS. 4 and 5, into the slot 10' is suspended between the legs 10 zB of the articulation element 10, which is designed like a fork hook.

At its upper end, the steel cable 8 can also be provided with a corresponding cross bolt 8 ', via which it is connected to the lower end of an adjustment plate 11, which is guided and supported in a height-adjustable manner on the base plate 12 screwed onto the window frame leg 1'. On the base plate 12, an eccentric head bolt 13 is rotatably mounted, on the eccentrically located polygonal head 13 'of which the adjusting plate 11 rests with a bearing web 11' provided thereon. By simply turning the eccentric head bolt 13, the adjustment plate 11 and above that the steel cable 8 can be adjusted accordingly, so that a corresponding adjustment of the wing suspension is possible.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the wing 2 is supported in the region of its vertical axis of rotation at the bottom by the turn-tilt bearing shears 5, which in the present case consist of three different, interacting links 14, 15 and 16 and when the twist is opened Wing 2 allows the illustrated external displacement of its lower corner bearing 2˝. While the handlebar 15 is connected to the lower horizontal sash leg 1˝ fitting plate 17 at point 18 via a fixed joint, the handlebar 14 leads over its guide pin 14 'in the existing on the bearing plate 17 guide slot 17'. The link 15 is connected via the articulation point 15 'to the link 14 and via the articulation point 15' to the link 16. 14˝ and 16 'denote the articulation points of the handlebars 14 and 16 on the underside of the wing 2. Through the steel cable 8 carrying the wing 2, in particular in its rotary opening position shown in FIG. 2, the lower turn-tilt bearing shears 5, as well as partially the upper opening device 4 are largely relieved of weight, which contributes significantly to the protection of these bearings.

As FIG. 6 shows, instead of a steel cable 8, the 40 tension element can also be designed as a tension control rod 18. This has, for example, spherical hinge ends 18 ', with which it engages behind hook-shaped bearing pieces 19 and 20, which are struck on the window frame leg 1' or on the lower wing corner 2 '. The spherical design of the handlebar pivot ends 18 'makes it possible for the handlebar 18 not only to be able to assume the pivot position shown, but also to perform an additional rotary movement about its longitudinal axis instead of the corresponding torsional movement of the steel cable 8, such as that used to open the wing 2 necessary is.
