Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum formschlüssigen Andocken von radioaktive Stoffe aufnehmenden Behältern an der einen kontaminationsfreien Raum begrenzenden Seite einer Schleuse.The invention relates to a device for the form-fitting docking of containers holding radioactive substances on the side of a lock delimiting a contamination-free space.
Die Erfindung soll bei einer Schleuse Anwendung finden, die, wie in der Praxis hinlänglich bekannt, einen Schleusendeckel aufweist, der mittels eines durch ihn hindurchgeführten Greifers zusammen mit dem Behälterdeckel zu öffnen, bzw. zu schließen ist.The invention is intended to be used in a lock which, as is well known in practice, has a lock cover which can be opened or closed together with the container cover by means of a gripper which passes through it.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Andockeinrichtung zu schaffen, die leicht zugänglich ist, die schnell und einfach gegen eine andere Einrichtung für Behälter und deren Deckel anderer Abmessungen ausgetauscht werden kann und die für den Schutz von Kontaminationen unbedingt freizuhaltender Bereiche bürgt.The invention has for its object to provide a docking device that is easily accessible, that can be quickly and easily exchanged for another device for containers and their lids of other dimensions and that guarantees areas that must be kept free from contamination.

Die erfindungsgemäße Andockeinrichtung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß sie ein schnelles und einfaches Austauschen gegen andere für Behälter und deren Deckel verschiedenster Abmessungen angepaßte Andockeinrichtungen ermöglicht, und das ohne jegliche Probleme bezüglich einer Kontamination. So bleiben die Außenflächen der geschlossenen Andockeinrichtung von einer Kontamination verschont. Vor Kontamination geschützt sind auch die Außenflächen der verschlossenen Behälter. Mit 1 ist eine Schleusenwand bezeichnet, die als Aufnahmering ausgebildet ist, der in einer nicht näher veranschaulichten Trennwand zwischen einem kontaminierten Raum 2 und einem kontaminationsfreien Raum 3 in einer zur Schleusenöffnungsachse radialen Ebene schwimmend gelagert ist. An ihrer Seite zum Raum 3 weist die Schleusenwand 1 eine Ringnut 4 auf. An ihrer Seite zum Raum 2 trägt die Schleusenwand 1 einen Deckel 5, der mittels eines durch ihn hindurch geführten und über Dichtungen 6 abgedichteten Greifers 7 verschiebbar und im geschlossenen Zustand der Schleuse durch Dichtungen 8 gegenüber der Schleusenwand 1 abgedichtet ist. Die Ringnut 4 dient zur Aufnahme und Zentrierung eines Ringteils 9, das mit einem Kragen 10 in die Ringnut 4 eingreift. Das Ringteil 9 ist durch eine an ihm befestigte Dichtung 11 gegenüber einem Behälter 12 abgedichtet, durch eine an ihm befestigte Dichtung 13 gegenüber der Schleusenwand 1 abgedichtet, und durch die Dichtung 13 gegenüber einem Deckel 14 abgedichtet. Der Deckel 14 ist durch eine an ihm befestigte Dichtung 15 gegenüber einem Deckel 16 des Behälters 12 abgedichtet, durch eine Dichtung 17 gegenüber dem Ringteil 9 abgedichtet und durch eine am Schleusendeckel 5 befestigte Dichtung 18 gegenüber dem Schleusendeckel 5 abgedichtet. Die Wirkungsweise der Andockeinrichtung ist wie folgt:
Für jeden Behältertyp, der z. B. ein Transportbehälter, ein Transport- und Lagerbehälter oder ein Endlagerbehälter sein kann, ist aufgrund deren unterschiedlichen Geometrien eine in ihren Abmessungen unterschiedliche Andockeinrichtung erforderlich.
Die dem jeweiligen Behältertyp entsprechende durch die Befestigungsmittel 20 zusammengehaltene Andockeinrichtung wird vor dem Andocken des Behälters 12 an die Schleusenwand 1 auf den Behälter 12 aufgesetzt. Dabei zentriert sich das Ringteil 9 an einer vorher bestimmten Fläche des Behälters 12. Nachdem der Deckel 14 mit den Schrauben 21 an dem Behälterdeckel 16 befestigt ist, werden die Befestigungsmittel 20 entfernt und der Behälter 12 zusammen mit der Andockeinrichtung an die Schleuse herangeführt. Beim Andocken zentriert sich das Ringteil 9 mit seinem Kragen 10 in der Ringnut 4.
Um den Behälter 12 befüllen zu können, wird zunächst durch eine Drehbewegung des Greifers 7 der Pilzkopf 19 gefaßt. Alsdann wird der Greifer 7 hochgezogen und somit der Deckel 14, der Behälterdeckel 16 und der Schleusendeckel 5, wodurch sowohl die Schleuse als auch der Behälter 12 geöffnet werden. In diesem Zustand verhindern die Dichtungen 11, 13, 17 und 18 eine Kontamination sämtlicher bei geschlossener Andockeinrichtung und bei geschlossenem Behälter vorhandener Außenflächen. Eine Kontamination zwischen den beiden Teilen 9 und 14 der Andockeinrichtung wirkt sich nicht negativ aus, weil dieser Zwischenraum beim Schließen der Schleuse und gleichzeitigem Verschließen des Behälters durch die beiden sich aufeinanderzubewegenden Teile 9 und 14, sowie die beiden Dichtungen 13 und 17, hermetisch geschlossen wird.The docking device works as follows:
