Claims (9)

1. Verstärkter Behälter (2, 17) vom Typ eines im wesentlichen zylindrischen Farbfasses, der in seinem oberen Bereich eine ringförmige Einfassung (5) aufweist, die an ihrer Außenseite mit der Seitenwand (4) des Behälters (2, 17) mittels einer wulstförmigen Umbördelung (7) verbunden ist, und mit einem Deckel (3), der eine nach oben offene umlaufende Rille (9) aufweist, sowie mit einem Sicherheitsring (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) aus Kunststoff, der im wesentlichen einen Querschnitt in Form eines umgekehrten U hat und einen inneren Ring (12) und einen äußeren Ring (13) aufweist, die an ihrem oberen Ende mittels eines Rings (14) miteinander verbunden sind und wobei der nicht unterbrochene äußere Ring (13) an seinem unteren Ende mit einem gegen den inneren Ring (12) vorspringenden Rand (15) mit einer sich konisch erweiternden unteren Fläche und einer senkrecht zur Achse des Sicherheitsringes (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) gerichteten oberen Fläche versehen ist und die Abmessungen des Sicherheitsrings (1, 10, 23, 25, 28) und seiner Bestandteile so gewählt sind, daß der Sicherheitsring (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) auf die Oberseite des Behälters (2, 17) aufgebracht werden kann, so daß der innere Ring (12) in die umlaufende Rille (9) des Deckels (3), diese zum größten Teil ausfüllend, eingreift, der Teil (14), des Sicherheitsrings (1, 20, 23, 25, 28), den äußeren Rand des Deckels (3) und den oberen Rand des Behälters (2, 17) Überdeckt und der äußere Ring (13) den oberen Rand des Behälters (2, 17) außenseitig übergreift, wobei der umlaufende vorspringende Rand (15) die wulstförmige Umbördelung (7) an ihrer Unterseite hintergreift und dadurch ständig gedehnt wird, daß sein Innendurchmesser vor dem Anbringen des Sicherheitsrings (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) kleiner ist, als der Außendurchmesser der Seitenwand (4), welche dieser Rand umfaßt.
2. Behälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Unterseite des Teils (14) des Sicherheitsrings (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) nach dessen Achse zu eine stufenförmige Verdickung (16) ausgebildet ist, die beim Aufbringen des Sicherheitsrings (1, 20, 23, 25, 28) auf den Behälter (2, 17), einen Druck auf den Umfang des Deckels (3) ausübt.
3. Behälter nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er Einrichtungen zum Entfernen (21, 24, 26, 29) aufweist.
4. Behälter nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zum Entfernen (21) in Verlängerung des Rings (14) an der Seite des Rings (12) als Vorsprung (21) ausgebildet und im Deckel eine Fläche vorgesehen ist, auf der ein Werkzeug (22) abstützbar ist.
5. Behälter nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zum Entfernen (26) wenigstens eine im Bereich der Verbindung zwischen dem Außenring (13) und dem Ring (14) liegende Bruchstelle (26) aufweist.
6. Behälter nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zum Entfernen als hohle Lasche (24) ausgebildet ist, die sich seitlich auf der Flanke des äußeren Rings (13) erstreckt und dafür ausgebildet ist, ein Werkzeug (22) für die Entfernung des Rings (23) aufzunehmen.
7. Behälter nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zum Entfernen als am unteren Teil der Außenseite des äußeren Rings (13) angeordnete sich radial nach außen erstreckende und mit einer Öffnung (30) für das Einführen eines Werkzeugs (22) für die Entfernung des Rings durchbrochene Lasche (29) ausgebildet ist.
8. Behälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Außenseite des äußeren Rings (13) eine umlaufende wulstförmige Verdickung (27) ausgebildet ist.
9. Behälter nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rille (9) des Deckels (3) in ein Spiralornament (11, 19) ausläuft und daß zwischen diesem Spiralornament (11, 19) und der ringförmigen Einfassung (5) des Behälters eine Dichtung (31) angeordnet ist.
