Description

The invention relates to lattice girders for scaffolds, the vertical scaffold posts of which have horizontal perforated disks at a grid spacing, via which connection heads can be plugged in, which can be secured by means of wedges, the lattice girder having an upper chord, a lower chord, vertical and diagonal bars and connecting means for connection to the vertical scaffold posts having.

Lattice girders are used in scaffolding to bridge large spans where simple horizontal support elements such as round tubes or profile bars are not sufficient. These have the elements mentioned above (DE-OS 27 37 859). The top chords are usually designed in exactly the same way as the bottom chords, usually as round tubes. In lattice girders for scaffolding with perforated disks and connection heads for connecting vertical and non-vertical elements, a connection head is only provided on the top chord at each end, which fits onto a perforated disk attached to the scaffold post. The lower chord is usually provided according to the static conditions at a distance that does not match the grid size and is equipped with suitable connection means for attachment to the vertical scaffold arm at any point, for example with clamshell couplings or the like, or with an oblique strut to the upper chord. Connection head supported.

From the German utility model 69 25 375 a lattice girder for ceiling and room scaffolding is known, the upper flange of which consists of an upwardly open U-profile, into which the end hooks of special scaffolding panels can be hung. These lattice girders are attached to the scaffold posts with half-couplings. Due to the lack of coordination of the upper and lower chord on holding devices, such as perforated disks, which are attached to the scaffolding posts themselves in an unchangeable manner, the safety of the lattice girders, which are often attached at great heights, is relatively low and requires special checks during assembly.

From US-PS 4,156,996 a lattice girder with conventional round tubes is known. At the ends of the lattice girder are attached to special, in front of the end faces of the round tubes, vertically extending end struts formed from angle profiles hooks which are suspended in eyelets individually attached to the vertical rods. This special construction is not designed for stable, spaced-apart connecting elements, to which a wide variety of scaffolding elements can be securely attached. Above all, it requires additional protection against lifting. There are no provision for hanging hooks for standard scaffold floors that are open at the top.

For the construction of scaffolds with a normal working width of up to 70 or 100 cm, the previous simple horizontal support bars of corresponding length are sufficient. In many cases, especially for ceiling work, however, work surfaces of greater width are required, for which hitherto quite complex structures have been provided for mounting at the ends of scaffolding floors.

The invention has for its object to equip a horizontal support element for scaffolding with the features specified above so that it can be quickly connected to the vertical scaffolding posts with the help of connection heads at all attachment points and that the suspension means of the scaffolding floors directly into the top chord are attachable.

According to the invention it is provided that the upper chord is designed as an upwardly open U-shaped profile with dimensions such that the hooking means corresponding to the grid dimension and provided on the end face of scaffolding floors can be directly hung in and that the upper and lower chord have a connection head matching the associated perforated disk at each end .

The fact that four connection heads are now provided, which fit the grid dimension of the perforated disks, the assembly is considerably simplified and great security and certainty of the supports are created, so that the lattice girder also serves the transverse stability and torsional rigidity of the entire scaffolding system. Assembly and disassembly are faster and easier than with other connection means. Due to the fact that the top chord is designed as an open U-profile of suitable dimensions, no further attachment aids are required and the claws, hooks, holding rails or the like of the scaffolding floors can be attached immediately and with the usual fast mountable securing means are secured. Scaffold bays of any width can thus be made much simpler, the width being determined by the grid size and the load-bearing capacity of the elements of the lattice girder used, but can be easily implemented in the usual dimensions.

Occasionally on such lattice girders, which are used for bridging passages or the like, in the middle or in another, corresponding to the scaffolding grid system, a device is required in order to be able to build further upwards with vertical scaffolding stems. In previous round tubular lattice girders, simple pins are usually attached in the middle. In the case of the lattice girder according to the invention, these would be troublesome in most cases. If they are needed, however, they should be quick to put on. Therefore, a further embodiment of the invention provides that a connection connector is provided which has a downwardly open U-shaped, fitting to the outer dimensions of the top chord, equipped with securing means for a vertical pin which fits into the lower ends of scaffolding posts. Such a holder can be designed as a downwardly open, bent U-shaped sheet which protrudes downward above the upper chord and has horizontal bores for screws passed transversely under the upper chord.

Further details, refinements, advantages, features and aspects of the invention are dealt with in the following description section, which is dealt with on the basis of the drawings.

The scaffold 10 has vertical scaffold posts 11, horizontal bars 12, a work surface 14 and lattice girders 15. The scaffold posts 11 stand on scaffold feet 16 which are height-adjustable by means of screws and have horizontally arranged perforated disks 20 of a conventional type at a distance 18 from the grid system. On these are the horizontal bars 12 and Lattice girder 15 fastened with the aid of conventional connection heads 21. These are put on the perforated disks 20 and wedges 22 are pushed through and knocked down. The working surface 14 is formed here by six adjacent, usual scaffolding floors 23. At each end, these have two hanging claws 24 which are open at the bottom.

The lattice girder 15 has an upper chord 25 which is formed directly as a U-profile open at the top, as is clearly shown in FIG. 3 in particular. The lower flange 26 is designed as a round tube. Vertical bars 27 and diagonal bars 28 form the usual struts and consist of suitably dimensioned round tubes or other profile bars. At each end 29.1 to 29.4, a connection head 21 is fastened in the usual manner, as is particularly shown in FIG. 2. The connection heads 21 and lower flange 26 and upper flange 25 are at a distance 18 which corresponds to the grid dimension of the scaffolding system and the distance between the perforated disks 20. A double distance can also be selected. It is important that the connection heads fit directly onto the perforated disks and that no other connection aids are required.

Since the top chord 25 is designed directly as a U-profile and is thus directly matched to the usual length of the scaffolding floors 23 including their hooking claws 24, one can hook in the scaffolding floors 23 directly and thus one of the length 30 of the lattice girder, which is a standard length of horizontal scaffolding elements should correspond to a corresponding, wide working surface (14), in particular for work under ceilings in halls, churches or in industrial plants, the scaffolding floors 23 contributing to the horizontal stiffening. On the other sides of the scaffolding stems 11, additional lattice girders 15 can be attached to the corresponding perforated disks, so that several scaffolding fields with scaffolding floors 23 can also be joined together to form a large work surface.

If one wishes to set up a scaffold post at any point on the lattice girder, then, as illustrated in FIG. 3, a connection connector 40 can be attached. This consists of a holder 41 with a pin 42 fastened thereon. The holder 41 is formed as a downwardly open U-shaped bent sheet metal part with two side walls 43.1 and 43.2, on the upper horizontal web 44 of which the pin 42 is welded. The side walls 43.1 and 43.2 are at a distance 45 from one another which corresponds exactly to the width of the upper flange 25. The side walls 43.1 and 43.2 are longer than the height 46 of the upper flange 25, so that lower fastening sections 47 are formed. Horizontal bores extend through these at a sufficient distance from one another, through which fastening bolts 48 with threads and screwed-on nuts 49 are inserted. Wedge securing means can also be provided.

The pin 42 has a lower, tubular spacer 50 corresponding to the outer diameter of the scaffold posts 11 and a plug-in pin 51 corresponding to the inner diameter of the scaffold posts 11. This is equipped with a push-through bore 52 for inserting a securing pin. As can be seen, the holder 40 can be fastened anywhere on the upper chord. The location is to be chosen so that there are no claws 24 in the way. Scaffolding stems can then be attached in the usual manner and according to the grid dimension, so that a narrower scaffolding can be built on. Lattice girders and brackets can be made of tubular steel and sheet steel or rolled sections and corresponding accessories and galvanized, or they can also be made and assembled from light metal of the type commonly used in scaffolding.
