Les plieuses-colleuses que l'on connaît à ce jour sont des machines dans lesquelles on prend les découpes de boîtes, une à une du dessous d'une pile, et qu'on transporte ensuite aux différentes sections de la machine à l'aide de convoyeurs à courroie, pour les recevoir, en fin de processus, "pliées à plat" et collées dans une station terminale. Il est bien entendu que la découpe de boîte va subir plusieurs opérations successives qui s'effectuent tout au long de son déplacement en machine. Par ordre chronologique, ces opérations sont les suivantes :

  • Dans une première section, précassage du premier et troisième plis de la découpe avec réouverture de celle-ci de façon à la présenter "à plat" dans une deuxième section,
  • La section d'encollage d'où la découpe sera acheminée vers une troisième section,
  • La section de pliage, dans laquelle la découpe sera pliée le long de son deuxième et quatrième plis.
  • La découpe sera ensuite transportée dans une cinquième section de pressage et d'éjection à la sortie de laquelle, chaque découpe, pliée, sera empilée sur l'entrée d'une sixième section, le section de réception.

Le dispositif pour aligner des découpes de boîtes représenté sur la figure 1 comporte un organe de rectification supérieur 1 et un organe de rectification inférieur 2. L'organe de rectification supérieur 1 comporte un longeron fixe 3 relié à une potence 4 [voir fig. 2] de la plieuse-colleuse à l'aide de deux étriers 5 fixés, à l'une de leurs extrémités, au moyen des vis six pans 7, dans la partie inférieure d'une tige de réglage 6 maintenue dans un support 8 monté à l'aide des vis 9 contre l'une des faces de la potence 4 [voir figures 2 et 3]. L'étrier 5 est fixé, à son autre extrémité, contre l'une des faces latérales du longeron fixe 3 au moyen des vis 10. Le blocage de la tige de réglage 6 est obtenu à l'aide d'un plot 11 ayant une largeur sensiblement plus faible que celle du support 8 permettant, lors du serrage des vis 12, de provoquer le blocage vertical de la tige de réglage dans une position désirée [voir aussi figures 2 et 3]. Le longeron fixe 3 comporte une série d'alésages 13 dans lesquels sont chassées des douilles 14, de préférence autolubrifiantes, destinées à recevoir un tourrillon 15 servant de point de pivotement pour les supports 16 des leviers pivotants 17. Le longeron fixe 3 comporte aussi des perçages 18 au travers desquels passent les tiges de guidage 19 des ressorts 20. Ces tiges de guidage 19 sont fixées, à l'une de leurs extrémités, dans une rampe 21 à l'aide d'une goupille élastique 22 [voir aussi figure 4]. A leur autre extrémité, chacune des tiges de guidage 19 possède une portée 23 sur laquelle est guidée la partie supérieure du ressort 20 alors que sa partie inférieure prend appui dans une fraisure 24 aménagée dans le levier pivotant 17. La rampe 21 est assujettie, par ses extrémités, au longeron fixe 3 au moyen d'une tige filetée de réglage 25 vissée à l'une de ses extrémités dans le longeron fixe 3, alors que son autre extrémité est pourvue de deux poulets moletés 26 destinés à assurer le réglage de la pression des organes de rectification supérieurs 1 sur la découpe de boîte. A cet effet, on a prévu de monter, autour de la tige filetée de réglage 25 et entre le longeron fixe 3 et la rampe 21, un ressort de compression 27. Ce ressort de compression 27 est guidé dans un alésage 28 usiné dans la face inférieure de la rampe 21. Ainsi, suivant que l'on visse ou dévisse le premier poulet moleté 26, on augmente ou libère la pression des organes de rectification supérieurs 1 sur la découpe de boîte, ladite pression étant de ce fait assurée, d'une part, par les ressorts 20 et, d'autre part, par les ressorts de compression 27.The device for aligning box cutouts shown in FIG. 1 comprises an upper rectification member 1 and a lower rectification member 2. The locking of the adjustment rod 6 is obtained using a stud 11 having a width substantially smaller than that of the support 8 allowing, when tightening the screws 12, to cause the vertical locking of the adjustment rod in a desired position [see also Figures 2 and 3]. The fixed spar 3 comprises a series of bores 13 in which bushings 14, preferably self-lubricating, are driven, intended to receive a swivel 15 serving as a pivot point for the supports 16 of the pivoting levers 17. The fixed spar 3 also includes holes 18 through which the guide rods 19 of the springs 20 pass. These guide rods 19 are fixed, at one of their ends, in a ramp 21 using an elastic pin 22 [see also FIG. 4 ]. At their other end, each of the guide rods 19 has a bearing surface 23 on which the upper part of the spring 20 is guided while its lower part is supported in a countersink 24 arranged in the pivoting lever 17. The ramp 21 is secured, by its ends to the fixed spar 3 by means of a threaded adjustment rod 25 screwed at one of its ends into the fixed spar 3, while its other end is provided with two knurled chickens 26 intended to adjust the pressure of the upper rectifying members 1 on the box cutout. To this end, provision has been made to mount, around the adjusting threaded rod 25 and between the fixed spar 3 and the ramp 21, a spring of compression 27. This compression spring 27 is guided in a bore 28 machined in the underside of the ramp 21. Thus, depending on whether the first knurled chicken 26 is screwed or unscrewed, the pressure of the rectifying members is increased or released upper 1 on the box cutout, said pressure being therefore ensured, on the one hand, by the springs 20 and, on the other hand, by the compression springs 27.

Claims (4)

1. Device for aligning box blanks in a processing machine, especially so in a folder-gluer, comprising upper and lower straightening appliances (1 and 2 respectively), acting jointly with the lengthwise aligning means, the said upper straightening appliances being provided with means for setting the pressure to be exerted by the upper straightening appliances on the box blanks, whereby the said device has upper straightening appliances (1) consisting of rollers (36) fitted at the end of the pivoting levers (17) on a vertical plane, the said pivoting levers (17) being themselves permanently connected with a support (16) pivoting on a horizontal plane, the said levers (17) pivoting around an axle (29) equipped at its ends with a flexible appliance (32) permanently connected with a corner piece (40) shiftable on a plane horizontal with regard to the fixed longitudinal beam (3) on which are added the pivoting points of the said supports (16), the said fixed longitudinal beam (3) being permanently connected with at least one strap (5) fitted on a bracket (4) of the folder-gluer, the lower straightening appliances ( 2) consisting of an endless belt (52) driven and supported by rollers (54) with axles aligned with the axles of the rollers (36) of the upper straightening appliances (1), the lengthwise aligning means (60) consisting of a lengthwise guiding rail (61) shiftable on a plane horizontal with regard to the straightening appliances (2), and means for setting the pressure to be exerted by the upper straightening appliances (1), the said means comprising primary springs (20) arranged between the said pivoting levers (17) and a guiding rod (19) fitted on a ramp (21) subjected to the said fixed longitudinal beam (3) by secondary springs (27) surrounding a threaded setting rod (25) screwed into the fixed longitudinal beam (3).
2. Device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the pivoting points of the supports (16) consist of studs (15) fitted into bushings (14) inserted into the fixed longitudinal beam (3), and that the said studs (15) are screwed into the said supports (16).
3. Device according to claim 1, characterized by the flexible appliance (32) consisting of a rubber cylinder (33) equipped with a threaded rod (34) and a threaded ring (35).
4. Device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the corner piece (40) shiftable on a horizontal plane is provided with two flaps (41 and 42) intercrossed by a threaded rod (43 or 44) itself screwed into the fixed longitudinal beam (3) and provided with two threaded knobs (47 and 48) enabling the said corner piece (40) to be shifted by acting on the front sides of the flaps (41 and 42).
