Claims (5)

  1. A screw cap of synthetic material, of the type including, on the one hand, a cap body (3) made of a material which is impermeable to air, from the base (7) of which projects a portion (10) in the shape of an annular hollow portion having, close to its free end a continuous or discontinuous outwardly turned peripheral retainer ring, and, on the other hand, a closure device (4) which, intended to be mounted within the body of the cap, has the general shape of a dish, of which the skirt (13) has a diameter comprised between the external diameter of the hollow portion (10) and the internal diameter of the neck of the bottle to be closed, and a height at least equal to that of the hollow portion (10) projecting from the base of the cap, a continuous or discontinuous peripheral retainer ring (17) projecting from the internal face of the skirt, which retainer ring is arranged in such a way that in the engaged position of the dish on the hollow portion, the retainer ring (17) of the closure device is located between the retainer ring (12) of the hollow portion (10) and the base (7) of the cap, the internal diameter of the retainer ring of the closure device being smaller than the external diameter of the retainer ring of the cap, characterised in that the closure device (4) is made of a more flexible material than the body (3) of the cap, and in that the bearing region of the skirt (13) of the closure device (4) on the internal face (15) of the neck (16) of the bottle is disposed between, on the one hand, the retainer rings (12,17) respectively of the hollow portion of the body of the cap (3) and the skirt (13) of the closure device and, on the other hand, the base of the cap body.
  2. A cap according to Claim 1, characterised in that the body (3) of the cap is made of polypropylene, whilst the closure device (4) is made of polyethylene.
  3. A cap according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the upper edge of the skirt (13) of the closure device (4) has no externally directed return covering the neck of the bottle.
  4. A cap according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, of the type equipped with an anti-tamper ring (8) having shaped notches (20) intended to cooperate with shaped notches (22) of the neck (16) of the container, to permit a rotation of the ring in the direction of screwing on of the cap and to prevent its rotation in the direction of unscrewing of the cap, and in which the ring (8) is connected to the body (3) of the cap by separable connecting parts (9), characterised in that the ring (8) has at least one axial slot (18) delimiting two sections connected to one another in the region of the slot by a tab (19) having a smaller cross-section with respect to the height of the ring.
  5. A cap according to Claim 4, characterised in that the slots formed in the anti-tamper ring (8) are two in number and are disposed in a diametrically opposed manner.
