Abstract

The tamper proof stopper is for a ring type threaded neck of a container. It has two parts of plastics material one of which is a capsule with the upper part threaded (1). The lower part (3) is jointed to the upper by a zone of weakened resistance. A ring (4) is snapped on to the lower part of the capsule. The ring has a flexible retainer gripping below the ring when unscrewed and causing rupture of the weakened zone when first unscrewed. The flexible facility if formed by a lip sloped (5) towards the capsule base.
