Claims (4)

  1. Verfahren zum Druckgießen von Metallflachzeugen, wie etwa Brammen, ausgehend von einer Metallgießpfanne (1) in einer Form (5) mit zwei mit Graphitblöcken (31) versehenen Seitenwänden (25) sowie mit Abstandsteilen (20 bis 23), die einen Hohlraum zur Aufnahme von flüssigem Metall (2) und zwei nach oben und nach unten offenen Halbkokillen (41, 42) begrenzen, die über einem Schacht (15) gegeneinander gepreßt sind, der durch ein vorderes Abstandsteil (22) und ein Ende (20b) eines oberen Abstandsteils (20) begrenzt wird und einen Zutritt für das flüssige Metall in das Innere des Hohlvolumens der Halbkokillen (41, 42) zur dortigen Ausbildung eines Angusses (60) aus flüssigem Metall bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß während des Gießens des flüssigen Metalls in die Halbkokillen (41, 42) und des Beginns seiner Erstarrung eine erhöhte Anpreßkraft für die Halbkokillen aufrechterhalten wird, dann nach Erstarrung einer Oberflächenhaut des Angusses (60) die Anpreßkraft vermindert wird, um jeden Widerstand gegen das Zusammenziehen des Flachzeuges zu unterdrücken.
  2. Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1 mit zwei Halbkokillen einer Druckgießform, wobei das Volumen innerhalb der Halbkokillen (41, 42) zur Aufnahme von flüssigem Metall (2) vorgesehen ist, das einen Endanguß (60) des gegossenen Metallflachzeugs bildet, und wenigstens ein elastisches Preßelement (43, 44) für die Halbkokillen auf jeder Seite derselben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie auf jeder Seite der Halbkokillen (41, 42) Mittel zur Verminderung der Anpreßkraft der elastischen Elemente nach dem Gießen und zu Beginn der Erstarrung des flüssigen Metalls (8) aufweist.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vorgenannten Mittel für jede Halbkokille (41, 42) einen Hydraulikzylinder (52) aufweisen, der an dieser angelenkt ist und von einem feststehenden Teil (30) der Form (5) getragen wird, derart, daß auf die zugeordnete Halbkokille eine Zugkraft ausgeübt werden kann, die der Anpreßkraft der elastischen Elemente (43, 44) entgegengerichtet ist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hydraulikzylinder (52) und die elastischen Anpreßelemente (43, 44) von Unterbauten (30) abgestützt werden, die die Graphitblöcke (31) tragen und mit diesen die Seitenwände (25) der Form (5) bilden.
