Abstract

In a known aligning clamp, the two claws (3, 4) are situated at a virtually invariable distance from one another which is adapted to the thickness of the outer crossbeams of shuttering-panel frames, so that the aligning clamp (1) is only suitable for holding together and mutually aligning directly abutting shuttering panels (14, 18). In contrast, the new aligning clamp is to be able to hold together and mutually align shuttering panels even when compensating pieces (16) are situated between the shuttering panels. In the new aligning clamp, one of the two claws (4) is mounted such that it is displaceable in the axial direction of the crossmember of the aligning clamp and fixable to this crossmember in a variable position. This design of the aligning clamp makes it possible roughly to preset the basic distance between the two claws, intended for drawing together and clamping shuttering panels, in accordance with the section to be bridged in each case, before the aligning clamp is attached to the shuttering panels to be drawn together and is tightened into the gripping position. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a straightening clamp intended for formwork systems, which has a hollow box-like crossmember and two mutually opposing claws arranged on the crossmember, one of which is pivotably mounted on the crossbar about a fixed axis by means of an adjusting spindle.

Such straightening clamps are used to clamp together adjacent formwork panels of a formwork system and also to align them with each other so that their formwork surfaces are brought into alignment with one another. The straightening clamp is attached to the back of adjacent formwork panels, with the top of the crossbeam laying against struts or other stiffening elements of the frame of the adjacent formwork panels, while the claws with their free ends projecting beyond the crossbeam form correspondingly shaped recesses on the inside of the side by side the horizontal spars of the frames of the neighboring formwork panels.

In a known straightening clamp of the type mentioned at the outset (EP-AO 201 887), the two claws are at a practically unchangeable distance from one another, the spacing of the claws being based on the thickness of the outer spars or strips of the formwork panel frame Although it is necessary to hold together adjoining formwork panels and align them against each other, it is not possible to bridge compensations that have to be built into the formwork for formwork-related reasons Formwork often necessary to install so-called compensation pieces between adjacent prefabricated formwork panels, which are generally only cut to size on the construction site.

In another known clamping device for connecting formwork panels (DE-A-33 08 528) it is necessary, in order to adjust a claw that can be adjusted along a crossbar, to pull out a claw pin that can be connected to the crossbar from a hole in the hole grid via a hole pattern, so that the claw is completely detached from the crossbeam and the individual parts can then be misplaced or lost. The holes in the hole grid require that the formwork panels to be connected to one another are connected to one another either directly or via compensating pieces placed on the hole grid.

The invention has for its object to provide a straightening clamp for formwork systems with which adjacent formwork elements such as formwork panels can be pulled together and aligned, both when these formwork elements directly abut each other and when length compensation elements are installed between these adjacent formwork elements.

This object is achieved with a straightening clamp of the type mentioned, which has the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

In the straightening clamp according to the invention, one of the two claws is not attached to the crossbar in a fixed but in a variable position. This claw can be pinned, for example, by means of a pin in a hole pattern, so that a variable distance from the other claw, which is pivotably mounted by an adjusting spindle about an unchangeable axis of rotation, can be adjusted according to the respective requirements. The adjustment of one claw by means of a peg and hole pattern is easy to carry out and is suitable for transmitting the necessary forces without fear of damage in the rough construction site operation.

With the straightening clamp according to the invention, all functions of a straightening clamp are retained, namely the ability to pull together and align two adjacent formwork elements. Due to the adjustability of one of the two claws in different positions along the crossmember, it is also possible to bridge compensations that are installed between adjacent formwork elements and to also clamp such compensations or compensating internals into the formwork by tightening the straightening clamp on the formwork elements that are adjacent on both sides and also align it. The straightening clamp according to the invention is accordingly more versatile than previously known straightening clamps for such purposes.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of a straightening clamp according to the invention is shown and shows
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of this straightening clamp seen obliquely from below,
  • FIG. 2 shows a side view of the straightening clamp from FIG. 1, which is attached to two adjacent formwork panels, between which a compensating element is located,
  • 3 shows a side view of the straightening clamp from FIGS. 1 and 2 on an enlarged scale, details being more clearly recognizable, and
  • FIG. 4 shows a top view of the top of the straightening clamp according to FIG. 3.

The straightening clamp (1) has an elongated crossmember (2) with a U-shaped cross section, the open side of this U-shaped crossmember (2) being at the top, so that the crossmember is closed at the bottom or to the side on the outside in assembly production is, as shown in Figure 1 in particular.

Two claws (3, 4) are mounted on the crossmember (2), the claw (3) being mounted within the crossmember (2) so as to be pivotable about a fixed axis (5) running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the crossbar, while the claw (4 ) in the longitudinal direction of the crossmember (2) is slidably attached to it and can be fixed in variable position on the crossmember (2), which is described in detail below.

While the claw (4) is to be moved and used by hand in the desired operating position and then remains unchanged in this position, an adjusting spindle (6) is used to pivot the other claw (3), with the aid of which this claw (3) pivots and the force required to tighten and align adjacent formwork elements can be applied.

On the upper side of the crossmember (2) there are support plates (7, 8) projecting over the long sides of the crossmember, which form the straightening surface of the straightening clamp. In the middle area there is another support plate (9) which also protrudes over the long sides of the crossbeam (2). The claw (4) is between the support plates (7 and 9) can be moved on the crossbar (2) and, since the support plates (7 and 9) protrude laterally over the crossbar (2), they are captively attached to the crossbar (2).

As Figure 2 shows, in the assembly position, the claws (3, 4) of the straightening clamp (1) engage in bead-shaped depressions (10) on the inside of the edge rails (11) of the frames (12) of adjacent formwork panels (13, 14) only here cut-out formwork shown. A compensating element (15) is installed between the two formwork panels (13, 14), which is assembled from wooden strips (16) and a formlining (17) resting on them. While the formwork panels (13 and 14) are prefabricated formwork elements, compensating elements such as the compensating element (15) are expediently tailored to the corresponding needs on the construction site in order to bring length and width compensation of a formwork. The formlining (17) of such compensating elements (15) is to be aligned with the formwork skins (18) of the formwork panels (13, 14) adjoining the compensating element, so that the straightening clamp (1) not only the formwork panels (13 and 14), but also that aligns in the present case between these built-in compensation element (15) when tightening.

Details of the straightening clamp (1) can be seen more clearly from FIGS. 3 and 4.

The claw (3) is angled in side view and has an eye (19) with an internal thread at its end lying in the crossmember (2), into which the shaft (20) of the adjusting spindle (6) provided with the corresponding external thread is screwed. The adjusting spindle is also provided with a head (21) designed as a wing nut, which rests on a washer (22) in such a way that the adjusting spindle (6) can perform limited pendulum movements when adjusting the claw (3) in order to compensate for the movements of the eye (19 ) to be able to follow the claw (3). An opening (23) in the side wall of the crossmember (2) makes it possible to observe the position of the eye (19) from the outside.

Between the support plates (7 and 9), a cover plate (24) is placed on the open top of the crossmember (2) that lies with the support plates (7 and 9) in one plane and thus an additional Forms a bearing surface, which can be used to align compensation elements such as the compensation element (15) according to FIG. 2.

The cover plate (24) contains a series of holes (25) in the longitudinal direction of the cross member (2), which form a hole pattern. A pin (26) located in the claw (4) can be inserted into each of the holes (25) of the hole pattern in order to set the desired position of the claw (4) along the crossmember (2).

The crossmember (2) has two plate-shaped cheeks or jaws (27 and 28) which are spaced from one another in such a way that the claw (4) is plugged onto the crossmember (2) with sufficient lateral play and along the crossmember (2nd ) can be moved if the pin (26) is not in a hole (25) of the hole pattern. The pin (26) is fastened to a connecting plate (29) which is fastened between the jaws (27 and 28) near the upper end of the claw (4) and which has an angled section (30) the clamping and working surface of the claw (4) forms. The pin (26) is located - seen in Figures 3 and 4 - near the extreme left end of the claw (4).

The opposite ends of the jaws (27, 28) of the claw (4) are connected to one another via a bolt (31) which extends transversely to the crossmember (2) and lies against the closed underside (2a) of the crossmember (2). The claw (4) thus completely surrounds the crossmember (2) in the manner of a hollow box and is accordingly captively arranged on the crossmember (2).

The bolt (31) is located near the right end of the claw (4), as seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, and thus on the opposite side of the center of gravity of this claw as the pin (26). Therefore, there is a tendency that the claw (4) falls due to its own weight in the position shown in Figure 3, slightly inclined backwards and thus in the locking position when released. To adjust the claw (4), it is tilted to the right, as seen in FIG ) remains. The claw (4) can then be set in the desired operating position, which is useful when mounting the straightening clamp on neighboring ones Formwork elements are made. Even if the straightening clamp (1) is installed in the position shown in FIG. 1, which should normally be the case, the claw (4) does not unintentionally snap out of the set position, in particular if the claw has already been attached to the frame of a formwork panel is.
