Definitions
- the invention relates to a cylindrical, axially compressible SLEEVE for dyeing a recorded roll of yarn or a textile thread; with two end rings, between which a plurality of stiffening rings follow one another axially, each of which is fixedly connected to an adjacent stiffening ring, and an end ring or another adjacent stiffening ring, by means of a plurality of resilient webs; in particular a sleeve in which the ring connecting webs are cranked at right angles and molded onto the rings at right angles, the outer surfaces of all webs and stiffening rings and the web shaped sections of the end rings forming a cylindrical envelope.
- a sleeve of this type known from DE-A-2 062 520 / US-A-3 753 534, with equidistant stiffening rings and with webs of identical shape between two adjacent rings, the shapes of which in adjacent rows of webs between two adjacent ones Rings are designed in mirror image, missing between two adjacent rings, for example from DE-U-7 516 449 (Fig. 5 and 6) known, paired interacting spacer cams, which are there to prevent the stiffening rings connected by S-shaped webs when the sleeve is axially pressed together so closely that the radial sleeve openings for the passage of the coloring liquid largely close.
- the object of the invention is therefore to create a press-dyeing sleeve which avoids this disadvantage and which protects the wound material to be colored when the sleeve is axially pressed together.
- This object is achieved according to the invention in a sleeve of the type mentioned at the outset by several pairs of cooperating spacer cams formed on the rings (stiffening rings and end rings) between two circumferentially adjacent ring connecting webs and between two mutually adjacent rings, with the two spacer cams approaching one another each pair of cams meet axially.
- the sleeve according to the invention has the advantage of reliably preventing parts of each ring connecting web from striking the adjacent stiffening rings in the event of excessive axial compression of the sleeve. Such a stop could not only lead to fiber jamming, but also to a break in the ring connecting webs, in particular the known hook-shaped webs.
- the spacing cams and the envelope have a clear radial spacing from one another, so that there is no risk of fibers becoming trapped between two cams which act on one another.
- the spacing cams of each pair of cams are offset from one another in the circumferential direction at such a distance from one another that the cams act upon one another axially parallel when the sleeve is subjected to pressure-dependent torsion.
- one of several identical groups of at least two ring connecting webs is arranged in the circumferential direction between two adjacent pairs of spacer cams, which are uniformly spaced from one another in all groups. This on the one hand maintains the periodicity of the sleeve elements in the circumferential direction and on the other hand takes into account that the spacer cam pairs are not required between two ring connecting webs arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction.
- the mutually adjacent end sections of two ring connecting webs formed on the same stiffening ring are offset in the circumferential direction, while in the two known sleeves this offset is absent, which affects the uniformity of the distribution of the axial sleeve stiffness over the sleeve circumference.
- these mutually identical webs have the same contents of rectangular areas when cut transversely to their course, the extent of which is greater in the radial direction than in the axis-parallel or in the circumferential direction.
- This known arrangement of the rectangle of the cross-sectional areas results in a particularly high radial sleeve stiffness, which is highly desirable because of the centripetal internal pressure generated by the winding on the sleeve.
- the press-dyeing sleeve according to the invention made of polypropylene is a mainly circular cylindrical hollow body, which in one piece consists of a long perforated middle part (10) and two relatively short end rings (12 and 14), which are complementarily shaped for the axial plug connection of two identical sleeves.
- the middle part (10) in turn consists mainly of several identical stiffening rings (16) and many ring connecting webs (18), each connecting two axially successive stiffening rings (16) to each other and to one end to a stiffening ring (16) and the other either to the adjacent ones Stiffening ring (16) or molded onto a web-shaped section (20 or 22) of the end rings (12 and 14).
- the Outer surfaces of all webs (18) and stiffening rings (16) and the web shaped sections (20 and 22) of the end rings (12 and 14) have a cylindrical envelope (24) on the outside.
- the inner surfaces of the aforementioned sleeve parts form a cylindrical coaxial envelope (26) inside the sleeve.
- the wall thickness of the middle part (10) is the same everywhere, ie the radial depths of the stiffening rings (16), the ring connecting webs (18) and the web shaped sections (20 and 22) of the end rings (12 and 14) are uniform.
- the axial width of the same stiffening rings (16) is somewhat larger than the width of the ring connecting webs (18), which is to be measured partly in the circumferential direction of the sleeve and partly in the axial direction thereof.
- the ring connecting webs (18) are namely cranked at right angles and molded onto the rings (12, 14 and 16) at right angles.
- the cross-sectional area of each web (18) is constant over its twice angled longitudinal line. This also applies to the stiffening rings (16), the cross-sectional areas of which are rectangular in all axial sectional planes.
- the cross-sectional areas of the ring connecting webs (18) are also rectangular, both along their axially parallel end sections (28) in all radial sectional planes and along their circumferential central section (30) connecting the two end sections in all axial sectional planes.
- the length of the central section (30) of each web (18) is slightly greater than the same length of the two end sections (28), which, to avoid a notch effect, merge into the central section (30) via a quarter-section profiled intermediate section (32) , whereby the inner rounding (smaller radius of curvature) is also present on the web roots at the rings (16 and 14 or 12).
- a pair of interacting spacer cams (34) can be accommodated between two webs (18) arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of two web groups that follow one another in this direction.
- Each spacer cam (34) of a pair of cams is formed on one of two adjacent rings (16, 14 or 12) so that it is not exactly opposite to the associated cam in the axis-parallel direction, even if there is an overlap in the circumferential direction.
- the offset of the two spacer cams (34) of a pair in the circumferential direction is dimensioned such that the paired cams meet properly when a torsion occurs between two successive stiffening rings (16) when the sleeve is pressed, which does not signify from sleeve section to sleeve section but the amount changes.
- cams (34) are in the circumferential direction somewhat wider than the ring connecting webs (18), but not as high in the radial direction as this, ie their radially inward broad side forms the inner envelope (26), while their radially outward broad side does not reach the outer envelope (24) .
- the two spacer cams (34) of each pair of cams are arranged in the same sleeve section, the arrangement changes from sleeve section to sleeve section in such a way that the sign of the cam offset changes in the circumferential direction.
- the arrangement of the ring connecting webs (18) and the spacing cams (34) is such that there is a periodicity in each sleeve section, in that both the mutually identical web pairs and the cam pairs are evenly distributed over the sleeve circumference, the same arrangements in each Repeat the second sleeve section.
- the same number of webs and pairs of cams in each sleeve section which must necessarily be present in the same number, can be even or odd, the number of sleeve sections should be even so that the total torsion of the pressed sleeve between the two end rings (12 and 14) is theoretically zero.
- One end ring (12) has an axially outer sleeve end section (36), whose question mark-shaped or S-shaped outer surface is radially opposite, following its web-shaped section (20), the axial width of which is less than the axial width of the stiffening rings (16) the outer envelope (24) springs back inwards, while its circular cylindrical inside also forms the inner envelope (26).
- the other end ring (14) following its web-shaped section (22), the axial width of which is greater than the axial width of the stiffening rings (16), an axially outer sleeve end section (38), the question mark-shaped or S-shaped profiled inside radially jumps outwards with respect to the inner envelope (26), while its circular cylindrical outside also forms the outer envelope (24), which springs back radially inwards with respect to a yarn or thread reserve groove (40) in the web-shaped section (22).
- sleeves according to the example are plugged together axially in such a way that they are connected to one another in pairs by way of their sections (36 and 38) both axially and radially.
- a perforated, externally circular-cylindrical spindle extends during the dyeing of the wraps seated on the sleeves, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the inner envelope (26) of the sleeves axially compressed, whereby the right inner angle of the ring connecting webs (18) can be reduced to the mutual stop of the paired spacer cams (34).

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cylindrical, axially compressible SLEEVE for dyeing a recorded roll of yarn or a textile thread; with two end rings, between which a plurality of stiffening rings follow one another axially, each of which is fixedly connected to an adjacent stiffening ring, and an end ring or another adjacent stiffening ring, by means of a plurality of resilient webs; in particular a sleeve in which the ring connecting webs are cranked at right angles and molded onto the rings at right angles, the outer surfaces of all webs and stiffening rings and the web shaped sections of the end rings forming a cylindrical envelope.
In a sleeve of this type known from DE-A-2 062 520 / US-A-3 753 534, with equidistant stiffening rings and with webs of identical shape between two adjacent rings, the shapes of which in adjacent rows of webs between two adjacent ones Rings are designed in mirror image, missing between two adjacent rings, for example from DE-U-7 516 449 (Fig. 5 and 6) known, paired interacting spacer cams, which are there to prevent the stiffening rings connected by S-shaped webs when the sleeve is axially pressed together so closely that the radial sleeve openings for the passage of the coloring liquid largely close.
- As a result, it can happen in the known sleeve of the type mentioned that fibers of the wound yarn or the wound Textile thread is clamped between the ring connecting web and the stiffening or end ring when the sleeve is pressed together axially and thereby suffer damage.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a press-dyeing sleeve which avoids this disadvantage and which protects the wound material to be colored when the sleeve is axially pressed together.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a sleeve of the type mentioned at the outset by several pairs of cooperating spacer cams formed on the rings (stiffening rings and end rings) between two circumferentially adjacent ring connecting webs and between two mutually adjacent rings, with the two spacer cams approaching one another each pair of cams meet axially.
In the case of the sleeve known from DE-U-7 516 449 (FIGS. 5 and 6) there are corresponding spacing cams between the rings; however, the two cams of each pair of cams are arranged axially in front of or behind a ring connecting web, the unaxial center section (main section) of which the two cams of the assigned pair of cams act on both sides at axially opposite positions with their full abutment surfaces, which are parallel to one another and obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve lie. This action on the ring connecting webs by the spacer cams is intended to stabilize the former in the pressed state of the sleeve.
In contrast, the sleeve according to the invention has the advantage of reliably preventing parts of each ring connecting web from striking the adjacent stiffening rings in the event of excessive axial compression of the sleeve. Such a stop could not only lead to fiber jamming, but also to a break in the ring connecting webs, in particular the known hook-shaped webs.
In a preferred embodiment of the sleeve according to the invention, the spacing cams and the envelope have a clear radial spacing from one another, so that there is no risk of fibers becoming trapped between two cams which act on one another.
In the preferred embodiment, the spacing cams of each pair of cams are offset from one another in the circumferential direction at such a distance from one another that the cams act upon one another axially parallel when the sleeve is subjected to pressure-dependent torsion. This arrangement of the cams of a pair of cams which are not widened in the circumferential direction avoids a cam widening which would be necessary for axially opposing cams for their safe collision and mutual support, and thus an undesirable reduction in the opening area of the sleeve.
In the preferred embodiment, one of several identical groups of at least two ring connecting webs is arranged in the circumferential direction between two adjacent pairs of spacer cams, which are uniformly spaced from one another in all groups. This on the one hand maintains the periodicity of the sleeve elements in the circumferential direction and on the other hand takes into account that the spacer cam pairs are not required between two ring connecting webs arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction.
In the preferred embodiment, the mutually adjacent end sections of two ring connecting webs formed on the same stiffening ring are offset in the circumferential direction, while in the two known sleeves this offset is absent, which affects the uniformity of the distribution of the axial sleeve stiffness over the sleeve circumference. In the preferred embodiment of the sleeve according to the invention with hook-shaped ring connecting webs, these mutually identical webs have the same contents of rectangular areas when cut transversely to their course, the extent of which is greater in the radial direction than in the axis-parallel or in the circumferential direction. This known arrangement of the rectangle of the cross-sectional areas results in a particularly high radial sleeve stiffness, which is highly desirable because of the centripetal internal pressure generated by the winding on the sleeve.
The invention is explained in detail below with reference to the preferred embodiment of the press-dyeing sleeve according to the invention, which is shown by way of example in the drawing. It shows:
- Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the embodiment without its webs and cams, ie without perforation of its central main section, outside of two subsections
- Fig. 2 is a plan view of the flat development of a section of the sleeve shell of the embodiment
- Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in Fig. 2 by a web and a cam of the embodiment
In the preferred embodiment, the press-dyeing sleeve according to the invention made of polypropylene is a mainly circular cylindrical hollow body, which in one piece consists of a long perforated middle part (10) and two relatively short end rings (12 and 14), which are complementarily shaped for the axial plug connection of two identical sleeves.
The middle part (10) in turn consists mainly of several identical stiffening rings (16) and many ring connecting webs (18), each connecting two axially successive stiffening rings (16) to each other and to one end to a stiffening ring (16) and the other either to the adjacent ones Stiffening ring (16) or molded onto a web-shaped section (20 or 22) of the end rings (12 and 14). Thereby form the Outer surfaces of all webs (18) and stiffening rings (16) and the web shaped sections (20 and 22) of the end rings (12 and 14) have a cylindrical envelope (24) on the outside. Likewise, the inner surfaces of the aforementioned sleeve parts form a cylindrical coaxial envelope (26) inside the sleeve. For this purpose, the wall thickness of the middle part (10) is the same everywhere, ie the radial depths of the stiffening rings (16), the ring connecting webs (18) and the web shaped sections (20 and 22) of the end rings (12 and 14) are uniform. In contrast, the axial width of the same stiffening rings (16) is somewhat larger than the width of the ring connecting webs (18), which is to be measured partly in the circumferential direction of the sleeve and partly in the axial direction thereof.
The ring connecting webs (18) are namely cranked at right angles and molded onto the rings (12, 14 and 16) at right angles. The cross-sectional area of each web (18) is constant over its twice angled longitudinal line. This also applies to the stiffening rings (16), the cross-sectional areas of which are rectangular in all axial sectional planes. The cross-sectional areas of the ring connecting webs (18) are also rectangular, both along their axially parallel end sections (28) in all radial sectional planes and along their circumferential central section (30) connecting the two end sections in all axial sectional planes. The length of the central section (30) of each web (18) is slightly greater than the same length of the two end sections (28), which, to avoid a notch effect, merge into the central section (30) via a quarter-section profiled intermediate section (32) , whereby the inner rounding (smaller radius of curvature) is also present on the web roots at the rings (16 and 14 or 12).
Between two adjacent rings (12, 14 and 16) there are several groups of two in the circumferential direction ring connecting webs (18) arranged next to one another are provided. In each group between the same two rings, the two webs (18) are arranged identically, while in each axially adjacent group they are arranged reversely so that with two corresponding webs of one or the other group, the central sections (30) in opposite circumferential directions demonstrate. From the sleeve section to the sleeve section, which extends from one stiffening ring (16) to the next or to an adjacent end ring (12 or 14), the web arrangement changes by pivoting each web (18) about the axially parallel longitudinal line of one of its two end sections (28). .
The clearance between the two webs of each web group, which corresponds to the length of the central sections (30) of the ring connecting webs (18) and corresponds to one another in the same circumferential direction, is smaller than the corresponding greater distance from group to group, and thus in the cavity which contributes more to the perforation of the sleeve A pair of interacting spacer cams (34) can be accommodated between two webs (18) arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of two web groups that follow one another in this direction. Each spacer cam (34) of a pair of cams is formed on one of two adjacent rings (16, 14 or 12) so that it is not exactly opposite to the associated cam in the axis-parallel direction, even if there is an overlap in the circumferential direction. The offset of the two spacer cams (34) of a pair in the circumferential direction is dimensioned such that the paired cams meet properly when a torsion occurs between two successive stiffening rings (16) when the sleeve is pressed, which does not signify from sleeve section to sleeve section but the amount changes.
The same distance cams (34) are in the circumferential direction somewhat wider than the ring connecting webs (18), but not as high in the radial direction as this, ie their radially inward broad side forms the inner envelope (26), while their radially outward broad side does not reach the outer envelope (24) . - While the two spacer cams (34) of each pair of cams are arranged in the same sleeve section, the arrangement changes from sleeve section to sleeve section in such a way that the sign of the cam offset changes in the circumferential direction.
Overall, the arrangement of the ring connecting webs (18) and the spacing cams (34) is such that there is a periodicity in each sleeve section, in that both the mutually identical web pairs and the cam pairs are evenly distributed over the sleeve circumference, the same arrangements in each Repeat the second sleeve section. - While the same number of webs and pairs of cams in each sleeve section, which must necessarily be present in the same number, can be even or odd, the number of sleeve sections should be even so that the total torsion of the pressed sleeve between the two end rings (12 and 14) is theoretically zero.
One end ring (12) has an axially outer sleeve end section (36), whose question mark-shaped or S-shaped outer surface is radially opposite, following its web-shaped section (20), the axial width of which is less than the axial width of the stiffening rings (16) the outer envelope (24) springs back inwards, while its circular cylindrical inside also forms the inner envelope (26). Accordingly, the other end ring (14)
following its web-shaped section (22), the axial width of which is greater than the axial width of the stiffening rings (16), an axially outer sleeve end section (38), the question mark-shaped or S-shaped profiled inside radially jumps outwards with respect to the inner envelope (26), while its circular cylindrical outside also forms the outer envelope (24), which springs back radially inwards with respect to a yarn or thread reserve groove (40) in the web-shaped section (22).
Several sleeves according to the example are plugged together axially in such a way that they are connected to one another in pairs by way of their sections (36 and 38) both axially and radially. Through the row of sleeves, a perforated, externally circular-cylindrical spindle extends during the dyeing of the wraps seated on the sleeves, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the inner envelope (26) of the sleeves axially compressed, whereby the right inner angle of the ring connecting webs (18) can be reduced to the mutual stop of the paired spacer cams (34).
