In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung wird vorgesehen, daß die Fahrwerke mit Mitteln zum Erkennen des Überfahrens jeweils einer definierten Stelle der Kranbahn ausgerüstet sind, die ein Startsignal und ein Abfragesignal an einen Zähler abgeben, der den abgefragten Wert in die Steuerung eingibt, wobei das Signal des als erstes die definierte Stelle erreichenden Fahrwerkes das Startsignal und das Signal des nachfolgenden Fahrwerkes das Abfragesignal ist, und wobei der Zähler, der an Drehzahlaufneh­mer der Fahrmotoren angeschlossen ist, die Umdrehungen des Fahrmotors des nachfolgenden Fahrwerkes zählt. Auf diese Weise wird eine einfache und genaue Erfassung von eventuell auftre­tenden Abweichungen zwischen den Fahrwerken der beiden Stirn­seiten der Kranbrücke geschaffen. Dabei ist es zweckmäßig, wenn die definierten Stellen der beiden Seiten der Kranbahn in Fahrtrichtung in einem Abstand liegen. Es wird deshalb vorgesehen, daß die Transporteinrichtung so ausgebildet ist, daß sie selbsttätig eventuell auftretende Abweichungen in dem Synchronlauf der beiden Fahrwerke (16, 17) der Kranbrücke (14) ausgleicht. An den beiden Fahrwerken (16, 17) sind Detektoren (20, 22) angebracht, beispielsweise Licht­sonden. Transportvorrichtung, insbesondere zum Transportieren von Wickeln zu Kämmaschinen, mit einer Greifeinrichtung, die mittels einer Hubeinrichtung an einer Laufkatze einer Kranbrük­ke gehalten ist, die auf einer Kranbahn mit stirnseitigen Fahr­werken verfahrbar ist, die jeweils einen Fahrmotor enthalten, die von einer gemeinsamen Steuerung gesteuert sind, dadurch ge­kennzeichnet, daß beiden Fahrwerken (16, 17) Mittel (20, 21; 22, 23) zum Erfassen ihrer relativen Positionen auf der Kran­bahn (15) zugeordnet sind, die an die Steuerung (19) der Fahr­motoren (18) angeschlossen sind, die Mittel zum Feststellen von Abweichungen zwischen den Positionen der Fahrwerke (16, 17) enthält und die bei festgestellter Abweichung durch Laufen­lassen des Fahrmotors (18) wenigstens eines der beiden Fahr­werke (16, 17) einen Ausgleich vornimmt.1. Transportvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, daß die Fahrwerke (16, 17) mit Mitteln zum Erkennen (20, 22) des Überfahrens jeweils einer definierten Stelle (21, 23) der Kranbahn (15) ausgerüstet sind, die ein Startsignal und ein Abfragesignal an einen Zähler (24) abgeben, der den abge­fragten Wert in die Steuerung (19) eingibt, wobei das Signal des als erstes die definierte Stelle erreichenden Fahrwerks (16, 17) das Startsignal und das Signal des nachfolgenden Fahr­werks (16, 17) das Abfragesignal ist, und wobei der Zähler (24), der an Drehzahlaufnehmer (25, 26) der Fahrmotoren (18) angeschlossen ist, die Umdrehungen des Fahrmotors (18) des nachfolgenden Fahrwerkes (16, 17) zählt.2.
