Abstract

Bei der Dampferzeugung in Heizkraftwerken wird, um die Nachbehandlung von Rauchgasen zur Schadstoffreduktion zu vermeiden, die Wirbelschichttechnik eingesetzt. Dabei er­ folgt die Kohleverbrennung bei relativ niedrigen Tempera­ turen um 850° C, wobei in der Wirbelschicht (1) aus Kohle und Kalk kein bzw. kaum thermisches Stickoxid gebildet wird und sich bildendes SO₂ zu Kalziumsulfat umgesetzt wird. Durch die niedrigen Temperaturen ergibt sich jedoch ein höherer Ausstoß an CO, besonders im Teillastbetrieb. Um diesen zu reduzieren, wird dem Frei­ raum (3) über dem Wirbelbett (2) zusätzlich Wärme (4) zugeführt, wo­ durch eine gezielte Beeinflussung der Freiraumtemperatur unabhängig von der der Wirbelschicht erzielt und die Um­ setzung von CO zu CO₂ erheblich gesteigert werden kann. Durch Drosselung (6) der dem Wirbelbett zuzuführenden Luft­ menge unter die stöchiometrisch erforderliche zusätzli­ che Luftzufuhr zum Freiraum unter gleichzeitiger Wärmezu­ fuhr kann weiterhin eine Reduzierung der NOx-Werte er­ reicht werden.
